Accommodation Provider did not get full information from Agoda ”

I regret that Agoda did not provide me the accommodation as per my booking at the Quality Apartments Banksia Gardens (QABG). I had Agoda confirmation on the accommodation for 4 adults and one young child. However, the QABG staff advised me upon checked-in that they only received the confirmation for 4 adults; they did not receive any confirmation for my nine years old boy. QABG provided me a copy of their record for my booking. QABG advised that they could not supply me an extra bed for my son or swap for me a bigger unit for five as all units were booked out! As a result, I had to sleep on the sofa at the living room which was very cold during my visit 10 deg C! Except for the above confusion, we were satisfied with everything especially the staff were very helpful and polite! The lesson learnt here is to advise QABG the number of guests before arrival.

Happy family”

Our apartment was at the front alongside the road (although lower and protected by a large wall). It was surprisingly quiet despite this. The room was relatively clean but there was a decent amount of dust in the spa bath. We are traveling with a newborn and a young toddler. The apartment was quite toddler friendly aside from my daughter wanting to use the phone and press the buttons on the fax machine in the dining area! The driveway is also quite steep so you need to keep a close eye on little walkers whilst packing up the car, especially when it is raining. We were very impressed to have undercover parking alongside our apartment. We ate dinner in the restaurant. We didn't realise it doesn't open until 6.30pm, but the staff were friendly and served is straight away anyway. The waitress had to be reminded to bring us a high chair but she gave our daughter a great little activity pack with crayons and colouring pictures. We had a little giggle when a fellow patron asked if they had any mid strength beers and she replied "no we only have 3.5%"......... lol. Not sure what she thinks a mid strength is! Overall a lovely stay and we will definitely be staying here on future business and leisure trips to Albany.

Always a pleasant stay at the Banksia Gardens Resort. Have been staying here over the last 10 years and the standard has not dropped. Will definitely be staying there again the next time I'm in Albany.

Lovely and Spacious Room”

It was a pleasant stay at Banksia Gardens Resort Motel. The room is specious, and clean. The environment is great too. The motel located near to the town center which makes food hunting no an issue at all.

Just what we needed after long drive”

Super friendly staff. Forgot we had a complimentary breakfast, which was a nice surprise. It was a good breakfast spread and they even had soy milk! We arrived late and after notifying staff, they put the heater on so our unit was toasty warm when we got there. The unit was very spacious, and very clean. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to stay longer. Albany itself is beautiful! Thanks for making the long drive worth it!

Spacious and very clean apartment (with an outdoor BBQ), added with an Expresso machine and extremely service-friendly staff. Highly recommended place in Albany anytime.

Great location, clean, polite staff”

It is an excellent hotel in Albany. The room is spacious, clean, and tidy. I will probably come here again for more nights in the future.

Nice place, great for a family.”

One minute drive from Albany town centre, we stayed in a 2-bedroom serviced unit. The wild and wet weather had just hit the coast and the fireplace was very welcomed, as was the electric blanket. Cooking facilities were available although we did not use them. Staff were cheerful and helpful although the wireless internet was a bit patchy (could be due to the weather though). Would recommend this to small families who have a car as groceries aren't readily available within reach. Would stay again.

One night stay in a comfortable apartment.”

The bed was extremely comfortable and we both had a great night's sleep. We had a small apartment which was spacious. The continental breakfast had a large selection and left us both satisfied. The staff we encountered were friendly and our check in / check out was a breeze.

A deceptively nice resort”

Great choice for small family ”

Kids loved the playground which is kept clean. Motel facilities are relatively new and cleanliness is well maintained. Would recommend to others coming to Albany to choose this accommodation.

more like a self contained Villa”

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, it had a carport attached to our 2 bed villa accomodation, they had a good Room Service menu available 6 days a week. The staff were all wonderful and friendly, our villa was serviced daily and offered everything we need for a weekend away with our daughter & Grandaughter.

Plus points...Hotel with restaurant for hotel guests”

For the price pay this is an excellent hotel. We paid a small bill for a big share of breakfast and also free flow of drinks, cereal, bread and pan cakes. Smart choice ! The Gap is just 20 mins from the hotel.

Average”

Booking tool did not request information of number of guests booked in. I booked for myself, my mother and my brother for a one night stay in a 2 bedroom apartment. I was told on check-in that for a 3rd person I would have to pay an additional $25 which I thought unreasonable, and misleading in that the booking tool did not ask for number of guests. The room configuration was 1 Queen bed in one room, and 2 single beds in the 2nd room, so with 3 beds available I don't see why I should have had to pay extra for a 3rd person. also, when we arrive the bathroom light was not working. This was fixed quickly on request.

Would loved to be able to stay longer”

This was easy to find, park near your room and very comfortable roomy rooms with bonus spa. Great modern, clean facilities.

Good Facilities with on-site parking. Great place for a weekend away and a good base to see the surounding areas

What you should expect”

This place has everything you should expect. While it’s not spectacular, the one bedroom suite was perfect for a couple with an infant. Good size room, TV, kitchenette, en-suite. Would stay again.
