Just booked the one night as I wanted somewhere close to Milawa. The hotel was well located on the main through road in Wangaratta. Parking was underneath the building and the rooms were well away from road noise. The staff were friendly and wanting to ensure your stay was to your expectation. I didn't use the restaurant (Atrium) but it is highly rated. I had room service breakfast which was delivered on time and the meal was hot. You have a toaster provided in the room so you can cook your own toast which I prefer. There is a swimming pool and great undercover outdoor space adjacent and a gymnasium off the carpark on the ground floor. Would highly recommend and would happily stay again.

we enjoyed our stay in wangaratta. the quality hotel is in a good location- walking distance to shops and restaurants. very friendly and helpful staff on check in/ out. the pool and pool area looked inviting and clean. rooms were comfortable and well maintained. food at the restaurant was average but the cocktails were great! were pleased to find a note on the car window in the morning telling us the windscreen had been cleaned and wishing us a good day... nice touch!

Great business hotel”
Have stayed at the Gateway a number of times. Friendly service, great food at the restaurant and the secure underground carpark. 24hr check in is handy if coming from Sydney. Finding the windscreen washed with the hotels compliments the next morning was a nice bonus.

Great location and clean Hotel ”
Loved our stay at the Quality Inn . The bed was very comfortable with awesome big soft pillows and a electric blanket. Heating in the room was quiet and linen and towels were fresh and clean . Great shower as well. There is plenty of undercover parking and lots of takeaway food stores close by . Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

City Quality in the Country”
Most of the participants at an industry event stayed at this hotel. The staff were very accommodating & gave a us a private function room for a dinner and socializing. Was not expecting such as classy place in the country.

Great food, secure parking and very friendly service by all staff. Also it was handy the hotels restaurant was open, on a walk after I noticed no other restaurants open on a Sunday evening. Everything you could want in a rural hotel.

Clubman Car Stay at Quality Hotel Wngarrata Gatew”
Everything was satisfactory. Staff all pleasant and interactive. Could have done with more tables and chairs in the outdoor social area - adjacent to the pool. Could have done without the chipping, scrapping and wire brushing/grinders etc of the paint removalwork being done on the balcony rails but acknowledge that such work has to be done at some time. Would be most likely to stay at the Hotel on any future trip to Wangarrata. Would likely book a room that does not have a step in the bath shower. . Wouls recommend the Hotel to another traveller. This hotel was very comfortable - we liked the beds, pillows and air conditioning. We had a family room for myself and my 2 sisters, the room was small be still comfortable. The service was good. And the hotel is just a short walk from the city.

Quality stay on the way to Alpine road”
We stayed for three nights while exploring the area before we went on the Great Alpine road. Great location, the rooms are quiet and very comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly. Within walking distance of the town centre with parks and entertainment. Within walking distance of Coles and several fast food outlets. The stay was great value for money and we will stay there again and again and again...

Archeologic specimen of a hotel room”
The lady at reception was very friendly. Free parking was great (although probably standard in all regional hotels). The room was SO old, the air con unit (worked well) looked like something out of a museum and I had to wonder what spores and chemicals it was emitting. The bathroom hadn't been renewed since the 70's. The couch was old, uncomfortable and uninviting. The curtains smelt funny even though this was meant to be a non-smoking room. I was there for business, so a comfortable room is important to me. This is an old hotel that has refurbed a few rooms for those who want to pay more, but the older rooms are depressing to be in. I won't be going back.

Very impressed with the building and staff. Room was clean and quiet, (no noise from next door or function room). Bed was comfortable and the meal I had at the function was delicious. Staff were very helpful and courtious. I would definately stay there again.

Great stopover ”
We spent a night here as a rest stop to doing the Great Alpine Road. The reception staff was very friendly and check in was easy. We had been road tripping around Victoria so the outdoor pool area and sauna was such a good treat.
