Vacation in the Mountains”
First trip without the kids to the mountains of northern New Mexico and southern Colorado. First stop in Taos. Good clean room, friendly staff with excellent recommendation for bbq for dinner
Run Down but Clean. Friendly. NEEDS MAINTENANCE”
It was ok for one night. Clean but very run down. Housecleaning does a great job considering how run down the place looks. Friendly and helpful front desk. Effort could be put into appearance with minimal funds. Weeds need to be pulled, trash picked up, bugs swept out of doorways, paint in areas that need it. Areas swept. The Motel almost looks shut down because the parking lot is pretty depressing.
excellent front desk, below average beds”
Front desk was excellent service, breakfast guy was on top of things, but the rooms cleanliness not the best. Comforter had stains on it and a dingy white. Box springs was stained and bed was the least comfortable one we had on our 2 week vacation. Room floors weren't the cleanest either and the landscape needed some attention. Overall - hotel needs to invest in some new beds (incl. box springs) & bedding & give some needed attention to exterior
Nice, economical retreat after hiking. ”
After hiking Wheeler Peak, it was nice to sit by the pool, have a beer, and relax. It was easy access to the Square. Our dog really liked the court yard. Breakfast was nice.
