We chose this hotel as a stopover for a night, a break from driving a long distance with two small children. When we checked in we found out the pool was unusable. It seemed like it had been broken for a while and the staff had no idea when it would be fixed. In a situation like that I would expect it to no longer be advertised as available at the very minimum so that people can adjust expectations before check-in. The room was about what we expected at this price point, but I would call it shabby. There were several large, mysterious holes in the walls and the smoke detector was hanging by a wire from the ceiling. The sofa bed was uncomfortable. We had to return to the desk twice (room keys didn't work, and there were no linens for sofa bed). Breakfast was not good. We got there around 8 (ended at 9). They were out of coffee and milk. There was a waffle maker but no syrup. Kids stuck to yogurt and cold cereal.

Staff informed us the pool and hot tub were closed as an after thought and it wasn’t posted anywhere to read! Staff informed us that we could go to their sister company’s pool, free of charge, but wouldn’t pay for us to go since we wanted to have a drink. So, we didn’t go. The bed was comfortable. I now need to buy a king size bed for home! We stayed on the main floor, I went to check the window it see if it was locked, nope! So I locked it before dropping our bags off. The shower is made for short people, so it was perfect for me, but the other half is 6’ 2” and had to crouch down. The price was perfect for what we got! You get what you pay for!

Super, super satisfied with the hotel. Room was super clean and had no issues with key cards or locks. The only “issue” we had was half of the outlets in the room didn’t work, so took a bit of tinkering and fiddling around to find out which worked and which didn’t. But considering the overall value of the stay, this was a very minor issue.
