Quartier Saint-Germain-des-Prés - Luxembourg hotels & accommodations

fantastic. In an amazing location in Saint Germain, amongst tight, character filled lanes and old buildings. Plenty of eating options locally and beautiful shops too. Staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to help. Extremely comfortable hotel and although road was busy and noisy, double glazing was very effective. Breakfast was perfect and couldn't fault it. Only n...

We have been staying in this hotel for several years and have watched with interest the renovations. The rooms are small but but very clean and comfortable and now that the bathrooms have been renewed they are so much better. Close to the metro, Jardin du Luxembourg and many good restaurants.

I really enjoyed this hotel. My room was very clean, modern and nicely decorated and noise was never a problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only gripe is that the lift is very slow. I loved the location, only minutes from some of the best patisseries and La Grande Epicerie, and many attractions were within walking distance. Try to book dinner at La Cadole, ...

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Citadines Apart'Hotel Saint Germain Des Pres. We specifically wanted to stay in the Saint Germain area to get that "left bank" feel. We were impressed that when we arrived the reception gave us maps and showed us the best places to eat and the nearest landmarks. Concierge was very helpful. The location of the hotel was fantastic! Wa...

I enjoyed the convenient location this hotel offers, walking distance (15-20min) to St. Germain des-Pres which one of my favorite spots in Paris. Many bistros nearby for a quick bite. Hotel itself feels new and welcoming. I love the wall art decor. On the flip side, room is very small (but expected), bit difficult to put my big suitcase flat on the floor, not enough r...

My husband and baby and I had a fabulous stay at this hotel... it is in a convenient little side street in St Germaine, with many terrific restaurants and patisseries and bars right nearby. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the room was so charming, beautiful French toile wall fabric, old beams throughout and just enough space. The elevator is absolutely tiny (as y...

Pros: -The hotel is in an excellent location. You are extremely close to the metro and to buses. There are restaurants everywhere, and best of all is the little express supermarket on the right. You can buy cheeses and breads for cheap and bring them with you on an excursion. -The room is comfortable and traditional, while the bathroom has good quality toiletries. (Ac...

my friend and i were two female travellers. we were wonderfully surprised by our perfect our first time visit to paris was with our stay at the royal saint germain hotel making all the difference! the location of the hotel was fantastic. the hotel is situated on a main strip in the very lively sixth arrondissment of paris. this area has many great restaurants and sh...

For us, it was a risk booking this hotel in advance since it was still finishing renovations at the time of our booking (June 2012). When we arrived in July, however, the rooms and lobby were beautifully equipped. The room was indeed small, however, I was told that this is usually the norm in Paris, especially when it is located in the heart of the city. The room had ...

Louison Hotel was lovely. Our room was small but comfortable. The location was perfect, not far from the Luxembourg Gardens and Palace. We were surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants. Our stay in Paris was soured by four undercover police who 'attacked' us on the street. Shaken, we returned to Louison Hotel where the staff could not have been nicer. They would...

We needed to overnight in Paris on New Year's eve and Hotel Trianon Rive Gauche offered very competitive rates that did not skimp on service, quality or location. The room is very comfortable with all the expected amenities and check-in/out were very simple. They even provided a free demi-bottle of wine with souvenir wine opener and glasses. Courteous and professional ...

Stayed at this hotel for our last night in Paris. Great location in Saint-Germain. Hotel is adorable with attention to detail in the room. Rooms are small but perfect for 2 people, bathroom is average for a European hotel. Wish I had time for the breakfast, because it looked amazing!

We just stayed for one night here to meet friends before flying home, but great stay! Loved the wonderfully decorated room in blue and white. A little small but perfectly appointed with desk, closet, nice bathroom with tub/shower and comfortable bed. Excellent location in the 6th arrondissement close to lots of shops, eating places (try Cafe Buci!), the Seine, Notre-D...

The Hotel Villa Madame is located on a quiet street only 2 mingles away from the Luxembourg Gardens. Don't let the location on a map dissuade you. It is within a three minute walk of three separate metros and buses that allow you to traverse the city without easily. It is a five minute walk to the heart of the Saint Germain District. More importantly it is a one minu...

We almost lost a hotel reservation because Agoda messed it up. They had no information about the room (sleeps 3, when we had a family of 4), no refund, extra charges for for an extra person in a room from the original booking price. Then on a day that we were driving to Paris received a warning that hotel can not accommodate us. So Agoda added a sleeps 4 and charged e...

A great hotel in the best location of Paris. We have travelled all around the city and can definetly say that the hotel is in the best place (Saint-Germain). The hotel can be defined as a boutique hotel, small but a top quality hotel, comfortable beds, good room equipments (hair dryer, ironing, tea-coffee making facilities - teas are perfect), a very delicious breakfa...

Our family of three had an enjoyable time staying at this lovely hotel. The staff (we were served by 3 of them but we only managed to take note of Christopher’s name) were all extremely warm, welcoming and helpful. There was a problem with the shower tap in our bathroom but the issue was promptly addressed by the staff by having the faulty tap replaced with a new one. ...

Best would be the room. It was very clean and every feature works. The staff were very friendly no matter how they get busy, they need the key to the room whenever you go out and I had no trouble getting it back. I was worried at first but I trusted them. Also the wifi was really fast, I uploaded more than a thousand photos when I was there and it was super fast. Very ...

The Hotel des Deux Continents is in the perfect neighborhood of Paris on the Left Bank: Saint Germain des Prés. Across from a lovely, delicious cafe, Le Pré aux Clercs, and down the street from the world famous Cafe du Magots and Le Bonaparte, there are plenty of places to sit with a coffee or glass of wine to people watch. You are minutes away from lively streets, Not...

We had the most wonderful experience with the hotel. It is a beautiful boutique typical French hotel in one of smaller inside streets but right around the corner of larger ones w/tons of cafes, restaurants, shopping. It was just perfect! Our room 52 was simply gorgeous: nice updated bathroom, lovely French decor, balcony & breathtaking views of the city rooftops. We st...

The hotel locating between Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Odeon, and Mabillon stations and is very convenient to go anywhere in Paris. There a see many restaurants and boutiques around the hotel and even supermarket. Only a small problem was that they do not provide hot pot and coffee or tea so you need to run to a cafe if you really need some caffeine to relax your busy da...

The jardin du luxembourg area was very convenient, the hotel is very close to many eateries (at Odeon) and a supermarket / shopping mall right beside it. I requested for a room with a balcony and enjoy the morning coffees outside. Hotel Belloy, sister hotel of Le Petit Belloy also offers free champagne and sweets daily from 5-7pm. I enjoyed the desserts including mac...

Our room was just like the photos, cute with lots of character. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, The Louvre and more. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious, with fresh warm crepes, eggs, sausage and pastries. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great little place in the heart of Paris. Small rooms but clean, very comfortable, tastefully decorated and close to Louvre, Notre Dame and Muse de Orrsey. Also close to several famous cafes on Blvd. Saint Germaine. Thaw staff were all extremely friendly and helpful

Located in Saint Germain area this hotel offers recently renovated rooms. Despite check in is only 3pm we have been able to get a room early in the morning as it was available. Staff was friendly and accessing easily to our requests. Easy access by metro. A good place from where to begin the exploration of Paris. We did not chose to eat in the hotel so cannot judge thi...
Cheap places to stay in Quartier Saint-Germain-des-Prés - Luxembourg

Most of the things good about the hotel (next to Luxembourg gardens, Bus stations, bakeries, markets), except they ask you to leave the key at the lobby which I feel quite uncomfortable leaving every time. Reception staff was too kind to allow us to stay at the ground room that we appreciated a lot due to stuff we have along plus my 2yo kid.

The hotel is definitely small and older, but the place is well kept with typical winding stairs of Europe. They have an elevator from second floor up, a cute dinning cum common area with couch and a TV. The service is very good and they spoke english which was great and since it was a smaller hotel the service is also feel more personalize. I got a room with a view of ...

We stayed here for 4 nights (19 to 23 April 2014). It was a basic simple budget hotel with a modern touch. Although room was small, it was sufficient for two of us to slot in our luggage, little walking space but this is Paris (hotel rooms are generally small). Nice guy receptionist e.g Bill, yaya. Hotel was located walking distance to Notre Dame, Luxembourg Garden and...

this hotel was listed as a 4-star hotel. this is not correct according to us and it's maximum a 3-star hotel if we compare to other hotels around the world. the room was rather small with fitted carpet which made it warm but at the same time it smelled a little funny. the bath room was ok with a tub/shower. the room also had a pentry with a fridge + a minibar. the h...

The location and neighborhood are excellent. Lots of cafes and restaurants close by. Supermarket is across the street. Friendly and knowledgeable stuff. There is a tea pot in a room. Would be good if they had a mini fridge and safe in rooms. Cons: rooms on the Saint Germain side are very noisy, AC is weak.

Pros: -The hotel is in an excellent location. You are extremely close to the metro and to buses. There are restaurants everywhere, and best of all is the little express supermarket on the right. Had a wonderful stay at the Best Western A La Villa des Artistes, great location in Saint-Germain just by the Jardin du Luxembourg and surrounded by good restaurants and bars. The rooms were incredibly spacious and airy and perfect for our business trip. Only negative comment would be that the shower head isn't attached to the wall which makes showering a bit tricky....

We had an excellent stay at the Apostrophe. We especially loved the staff, who were kind and helpful. They made us feel at ease, put the wine on ice and helped us find our way through town. Rooms are small but smart, and design throughout is gorgeous. The location was excellent for walks to Jardin du Luxembourg, boutiques and restaurants.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Aramis. It is a nice area, with just a few minutes walk to the buzzing Saint Germain district, shops nearby and also the Metro just around the corner. Lots of tourist attractions are also close to the hotel. The rooms were charming but small. We did not have breakfast included, but there is a lot of nice cafes close to the hotel...

While the standard rooms at the Hotel Beloy Saint Germain are not very spacious, they are well appointed and have everything you need. Cute hotel with a great location right in the middle of Saint Germain. The middle of the hotel is a cute little garden which you can see from the windows. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably-priced hotel in Paris with a bit of personality!

hotel is very well located in a small street halfway between the luxembourg park and boulevard saint germain. room are a bit small and the smell of the spa in the corridor is not nice. breakfast is close to the spa and has the same problem. the room overlooked a courtyard with a building across which is limiting the privacy. nothing really wrong with the hotel but the...

We stayed at Le Senat for 3 nigthts. As a regular Paris visitor we have never been able to find a hotel that are good for the money, until now! These are perfectly clean wit...

Highly recommended. I would definitely stay again. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great position close to restaurants, bars, stores and the metro. It is a great area to just walk around. Every street has points of interest. Just a stroll to Boulevard St Germain, the Luxembourg Gardens and the Latin quarter. The hotel rooms are freshly decorated ...

Loved this hotel. The balcony and the rooftop area had great views and were fabulous to watch the sunsets from. Very near the Latin quarter with great bars and restaurants, and Saint Germaine a more upmarket area also full of bars, etc. Would definitely stay again.

Located in one of the most famous area in paris-st. Germain, surrounded by lots of shops boutiques and restaurants, 2 mins to the metro station. Room is newly renovated, cozy clean and stylish. Working staffs are nice, professional and willing to help. Will definitely come back if go to paris again.

Firstly, it was a nice stay and the breakfast was delicious. Great value for the money. I would however say this is more of a four star hotel because it lacks the things that make a five star— eg no one offered to bring my bags to my room, no little touches in the room, etc. This is all fine because I got the room for a great deal and don’t care about the things above!...

I find the hotel very nicely located in the central district of Saint-Germain Des Pres of Paris with few minutes walk to bus or Metro station but also very quiet during the night, Staff is very helpful and friendly, The room is at its good size & lovely decoration, All these qualities at the room rate is a very nice surprise, I definitely will stay at this hotel ag...

Wonderful small hotel on the Left Bank just a few steps to the Boulevards San Michel and San Germain in one direction and the Seine in the other. Vibrant street life just around the corner with many cafes, restaurants and shops. Nevertheless, never a problem with noise or sleeping. Hotel is well-furnished with all amenities you would need. Rooms are more than ample...

This was my first international travel experience and in a country that speaks another language it can be intimidating. The staff at Hotel De Buci were very welcoming and helpful in our accommodations. Upon arrival they quickly grabbed our bags upon check in and took them to our room. Prior to our bags being brought up we were escorted up to our room by Edgar who showe...

Hotel was located in the center of St-Germain district. There were full of restaurants, antique & fashion shops. It was funny and exciting moments to look around the small streets in the middle of old Paris. Metro was 3 minutes walk from hotel and easy to access any other places in Paris. I will hope to revisit soon.

Welcome at the hotel was really nice, the rooms are in good conditions and "cute". Compared to other hotels in the same range in Paris, this one is very sympathetic. The hotel staff plays a major role in that positive stay we had. Location is also very convenient, close to Saint-Germain, yet in a quiet area. A short walk will bring you to the Luxembourg garden - a heav...
Luxury hotels in Quartier Saint-Germain-des-Prés - Luxembourg

We stayed at L'hotel on the recommendation of a friend because our usual spot was under construction. I loved everything about this place: the building, the room, the location (on a quiet street in the 6th) and the service, which was impeccable. Often "boutique" hotels are charming but a little loosely run. Not so here. It is our new favorite place to stay in Paris.

My husband and I stayed at Relais Christine for our last two nights in Paris. We were regretful it wasn't longer. This is truly luxury! The grounds/garden are beautiful, and the hotel itself is decorated tastefully, while still being very Parisienne! Our room was a little on the small side. But we weren't in there that much. The St. Germain area is a great part of Pa...
