great stay”
I have a great stay in Quayside hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. Always great us with smile. I mistakenly book our room with xmas gala dinner package included, i checked in late on that day, around 950pm while the dinner only servered till 10pm, the front desk help to arrange with restaurant for me to enjoy the dinner, and the restaurant staff served us well (although already past their operate hour).Lamb shank taste good. Location is strategic, located beside the malacca river (enjoy the wind and view) and walking distance to jonker street and fort, and malacca largest shopping mall (save your time for traffic jam and to look for parking). Good wifi connection, parking place available, they also help to keep our lugage after we check out (so we could have more time with food in jonker street).

Friendly staffs and excelllent location, need improvement for breakfast”
This my third times to visit Malacca, but this my first time to stay in Quayside. I stayed for 1 night in Mawar suite. The room has a river view. Unfortunately, if you open the curtain, people might see your room clearly. The hotel staffs are very friendly. They showed us how to go around the neighborhood. They also arranged the transportation to the bus station for the next day. The hotel is located in center of the main attraction in Malacca. The Jongker street is literally just a stroll away, and you can go look for breakfast since the hotel breakfast is so simple and too ordinary.

Inexpensive Riverside Hotel”
Quayside hotel is a good alternative if you would like to stay close to Jonker Streets and have easier access to local food and the cultural/heritage sites (Eg. Maritime Museum, Christchurch, AFamosa and St. Paul's Hill). Hotel is overlooking the other famous hotel, Casa Del Rio with Malacca River flowing in between. Malacca is largely accessible by foot, shopping centres (eg. Dataran Palawan and Mahkota Parade) is just 10 minutes walk away, along the gazetted road passing St. Paul's Hill. Room is small but well equipped with the necessary amenities. Well worth the money and it was a good stay! :)

GREAT!!!!”
Staying at Quayside was the best area hotel.Hotel service was up to standard and friendly front desk customer oriented staffs. Only 10 parking lots are available for guests. But hotel do sell hourly coupons and advise clearly the locations to park your private car at outside parking lots if there are no more hotel lots. Centralised to the area if anyone wanted to explore Melacca. Walking distance to the shopping malls, jonker walk and historical areas too. Plus had a great taste of Cendol too which is just opp the historical area. Best and highly recommeded. Will for sure come back to stay at this hotel.

Short weekend getaway in Melaka”
Planned a short trip to Melaka to enjoy some scenery, sightseeing & food...and decided to book the Quayside Hotel which is right o the riverside but WAAAYYY much cheaper than the Casa Del Rio. Loved the location of the hotel - less than 5 minutes walk to Jonker Walk and just a 15 minute walk to Mahkota Parade & Pahlawan Mall. The room is ok, pretty basic for the price that we paid - basic toilet but (at $100 per night) we got the riverside room which overlooks the river. It may be a little noisy, but I love sitting at the balcony just sipping coffee, watch the sunset and see tourists and locals passing by at the riverwalk below. The hotel management could be a bit more proactive in checking the kiblat direction as as the kiblat direction for Melaka is 292.9 degrees - not exactly at the location of the sunset. Also, the air-con was confusing in trying to bring up or down the temperature. We ended up switching off the air-con halfway through the night.

Get the Mawar Suite to enjoy the dynamic lively view of the river ”
We chose Quayside and are fully aware of the lively (noises) and are ok with it. The room was big enough to fit an extra bed for our kids, friendly staff and honestly the location is great if you plan on walking to jonker and all the UNESCO heritage sites. If you’re driving? Parking will be a tad bit of a hassle and the Halia Cafe (which we were looking forward to dine at) is closed so do walk out to the river cruise area for food or jonker street market! Love this place and we shall return

Modern gem excellent location”
Hotel is new and modern, meaning it's all in excellent condition, unlike a lot of ageing malacca hotels. It's kept very clean, the large lobby is always sparkling. Staff are friendly and relaxed, accommodating for late arrival 1am and late check out, happy to hold luggage. Room has everything you want, kettle, complimentary water, comfortable bed, TV. The bathroom is modern and clean however the shower shares same room as toilet, so that can make the floor wet. This dries quick however so didn't bother me too much. Really excelling location right next to jonker walk - so it's easy to just walk out the door, explore!

Amazing with a river view room”
Hotel still new, great location, just beside the river. We book a premium twin room which is on 1st floor with a balcony and it is a river view room. We love the view so much especially in night time. It near the travel spot, smiley staff, room is clean and comfortable but quite small. We will choose Quayside Hotel as our accommodation again when we visiting Melaka.

A cosy & accessible location with great ambience.”
We chose Quayside for our 2nd visit to Melaka as we had fell in love from the first time. For the fact that it is just beside the river & its ideal location is great to venture out to the nightlife nearby, we could just walk over & save on the transportation. We also love the Halia Inc. restaurant which is just beside the hotel. Breakfast will be served there & their food are simply irresistible! I had to have their Carbonara again as it was one of the reasons why we decided to stay here once more :P Besides all that, the whole hotel with their room deco is chic & staffs are ever friendly & helpful, which is another plus point! This is definitely an awesome hotel to stay in when you come to Melaka!

Quayside Hotel One of The Best Along Melaka River”
Quayside Hotel is unique as its origin is actually a warehouse. The location is one of the best, facing Melaka river and the cruise departure point is around the corner. It is centrally located and easily walking distance to many museums, the Dutch Quarter & The Clock Tower, Jonker Street, Hard Rock Cafe and H&M Departmental store. The famous Cendol is just a few minutes walk. The best river scenery is located near to the hotel. Despite its strategic location, the hotel lacked the funding for reinvestment for maintenance and upgrading and sign of deterioration is starting to creep in. It was sad to see the restaurant Halia was closed for renovation as it was our favourite hang out place. The Azura Suite would be recommended but the lighting in the bathroom was to dim to appreciate.

Centrally located, affordable new hotel.”
My stay at the Quayside Hotel was satisfactory. Check in was a tat slow due to the cleaning of the rooms from the previous customers. Location is ideally located, it is just 5mins away from Jonkers Street. Rooms come with complimentary breakfast at the cafe just beside the hotel - Halia Inc. breakfast was decent, not much of varieties but definitely value for money for the price I paid for the hotel. Hotel rooms aren't sound-proof. Can hear the surroundings very clearly. Overall I would say a decent stay taken in to consideration of the price and location. Will definitely come back again.

Great location”
Simply put, this hotel has the best location in Malacca. It's very near to the main Jonker area - 5 mins walk to your left when you exit the hotel. If you are looking at the Church of Melaka, it's situated diagonally opposite. 2-3mins walk. If you want some modern shopping, exit the hotel and turn right and walk 10-15 mins and you'll reach the modern shopping centres in Malacca. Really great location especially if you get a room facing the river, it's perfect. It doesn't get too noisy anyway despite it being smacked in the middle of a bustling street. Crowds go home around 11pm or so, so it's all great. Staffs are okay, just not very responsive or attentive but for the money you pay, they are just about okay.

Relaxing”
We had an overnight stay. our room was noisy during the day because it was facing the street but it started to quiet down on the evening so we had a good night sleep. the best part was the very delicious complimentary breakfast. plus the staff were very kind, they allowed us to check in early as soon as the room was ready. check in and check out was fast and no hassle. thank you agoda and quayside for a relaxing stay at your hotel. tip, bring a non slippery slippers, the bathroom floors tend to be very slippery when wet.

First local trip after MCO #golocal #supportlocal”
For me it was near to perfect stay. location was good, near to all the attraction (jonker walk, muzuem even dataran pahlawan) Dataran is just a 5-7minutes walk. the room was clean and there is hair dryer and also a mini fridge. Air conditioning in room is cool enough. Reception guy was friendly. and they gave us a simple complimentary breakfast (packet of nasi lemak, fried meehon, biscuit, bread and selection of coffee and teh tarik)..Superior room is facing the main street, it may affect those that is light sleeper but not me fortunately, comfy bed and pillow) the only downside for me is just the car park. there is no hotel car park, though there is a pay per entry car park opposite the hotel (next to police station) and also public car park along the street (though it really depends on your luck). I was lucky to get one right infront of the hotel (after waiting for 5-10mins). The pay per entry car park is most of the time full, so really depends on your luck. But overall I am very happy to stay at this hotel and definately will encourage others to visit this hotel and support local industry.

Overall great hotel!”
The rooms were actually quite nice, although it was quite dirty underneath the bed, but everything else was pretty clean! The room is considerably huge as compared to all other hotels in Malacca. Staff was friendly, and brought whatever we required. Location was perfect, not in the mad crowd, and just a middle ground to jonker street and to the malls!

Great Value and Great Location”
A new hotel with great location and value. Just a mere 5 minutes walk from the bustling Jonker Walk and yet in the safe haven from the bustling noise from there. Limited car parks but with a open car park with per entry charges just around the corner. Good settings in the room and the size is quite big compare to most hotels in Malacca. Would come again if revisiting Malacca.

Cozy little hotel with excellent location”
A pleasant stay. Quayside is in the prime location to access tourist hotspots like jonker street and the various ruins in malacca, which are a few minutes walk away. The rooms and lobby looks great and are in good condition; the romantic atmosphere would appeal to couples staying here. Staff were friendly and helpful, although we had a few hiccups with the parking reservations. One major flaw of quayside is the lack of noise insulation. Our room overlooks a busy street and the noise of vehicles continued into the night, and we could even hear voices of pedestrians on the street. Nonetheless, I would say that the stay has been enjoyable and I would recommend this hotel.
