It's a suitable location for exploring and stone throw to Jonker Street. Clean and comfortable environment with friendly staff.well maintained facilities and great choice for anyone looking for where to stay in Malacca
This hotel is very strategic and close to all tourist locations in the Malacca River, you can easily walk to enjoy the night cafes along the Malacca River, Jonker Food Street, Stadhuis, Christ Church, and Nyonya Cendol food. The night is very beautiful, enjoying the atmosphere along the Malacca River. The rickshaws also add to the joy of touring Melaka. The hotel is clean with an interior design reminiscent of a cruise ship. I recommend it for those who want to see the beauty of Melaka.
Unbeatable Location: Right beside Jonker Street Night Market, Dutch Square, the river cruise, museums, and more—most attractions are within a short walk. Beautiful River Views: Many rooms offer great vistas of the Malacca River, especially those with balconies. Friendly Staff: Guests frequently praise the welcoming and helpful hotel staff, including reception and housekeeping. Clean & Comfortable for the Price: Rooms are generally perceived as clean and the bedding comfortable—great for budget-conscious travelers.
Positive Side: 1. Good and centralised location near Jonker Street and Pahlawan Walk 2. Helpful receptionist 3. Clean and tidy 4. High water pressure in bathroom 5. Comfortable bed 6. Air cond is very efficient and cold 7. In front and good view of the river Negative Points: 1. No parking lots. Nearest parking lots are somewhere outside the museum and church which is about 3 to 4 mins walk but parking lots is always full. There is a parking area nearby the hotel which charges RM10 per entry. 2. Don't ever consider this hotel during weekend. Street market is just outside the hotel and in front of the room. Noise with music blaring and people talking loudly outside the room. Noise will only ease of after 2.30am. We have to close our windows and curtains all the time for privacy and didn't have chance to sit on the chairs and outside our room. 3. When I booked the room, it is stated in Agoda that the room comes with breakfast but the receptionist said that breakfast is not included. 4. We only managed to check in at 4pm. Agoda site states that check in time is 2pm and the notice at the reception states 3pm. Luckily we were allowed to store our luggage before checking in. Overall, it is not a good stay for us due to the noise and parking woes. We won't be staying there anymore in future. 5.

“Great Location but hard to find parking”
Location is very near to all the attraction (walkable distance). This was my second time staying here. But it seems that they changed the management. Anyway, this hotel is close to all the attraction in Malacca. Cleaniness is acceptable (can be improved), check in was super quick (at 3pm), bedding is comfortable, air conditioning is cold, room is allright for me (one night stay) and there is a COway water dispenser at the hallway. Water pressure is strong, but hot water sometimes are not consistent. The toilet seat in my room (***) need to be repaired (note to the management) as it kept falling down and it is very troublesome if you need to use it. But if you had choosen a room that is facing the road, then there might be an issue with noise as there is a night market (Friday till Sunday, road in front will be closed from 4pm onwards) but the pros of it is that it is very convenient if you need to grab food to eat since its only downstairs. sound insulation of the rooms may not be the best, u can hear people walking outside and those that are staying next door. If you are driving please note that hotel does not provide free parking, you will need to find it on yourself. There is a paid parking lots opposite the hotel beside the police station (can park around 40 cars) at RM10 per entry, and if you are staying over night it would be RM15 per entry. If it is on Friday-Saturday, it is advisable to get there before 3pm so that you would have ample time to find carpark as the road in front of the hotel will be closed for the night market 4pm onwards. Overall I find the hotel ok and acceptable due to its strategic location. But I might choose another hotel next time as I would not like to stress out on the parking issue.
