Wonderful Stay”

Staff, Ambiance and Decor

I stayed at Queen Grand Boutique for 2 nights. The staff was superb from the moment I entered the hotel to the moment I left; always smiling, friendly, courteous, respectful and helpful. I can't stress enough how great the staff was. The hotel itself was elegantly designed and had an almost spa-like feel to it. The location was tucked away in a side street that was 5-10 minutes walk from the riverfront. The breakfast buffet is simple, but you also can order several complimentary custom dishes, like omelettes or french toast. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Phnom Penh and would book again in an instant.

Charming Hotel surpassed my expectations”

What a great find in the middle of Phnom Penh City. This boutique hotel with large, modern, clean rooms is fantastic value. The staff are just wonderful, so courteous and helpful and English is spoken well here so you won't have any issues with getting help for anything you need. The breakfast is a large buffet with Western ad Asian cold and hot selections. I am thrilled to know about the Queen Grand Boutique Hotel for future business trips to Cambodia. A great base to work from and close to a lot of riverside restaurants and the Naga World casino if that's your thing.

Excellent stay!!”

Fantastic staff, clean well-maintained rooms, fantastic location!

Initially very saddened to see that the pool and skybar were being renovated, however this didn't dampen our stay. Pool next door at sister hotel was offered for our use and discounts and free cocktail were provided to help ease the inconvenience of the maintenace. Breakfast was great (wide selections and very attentive waitstaff). Rooms are spacious, very clean and well maintained. Wifi worked well. Nearby hotels and restaurants also offer great happy hour deals. Plenty of options for massage, food and drinks are available in very close proximity. Sights of interest (Royal Palace, childrens park, riverfront etc) are very close to the property as well. Above all, the staff throughout the hotel were beautiful, so friendly and professional. All contributed to a wonderful stay and we won't hesitate to return should we find ourselves in Phnom Penh again. Thank you again QG Boutique Hotel :)

Wonderful Cambodian hospitality ”

The staff, the food and the location

We spent an amazing 4 days at the Queen Grand Boutique Hotel and Spa. When we arrived they took good care of us, arranged our room quickly, even though we arrived before check in time. The sky bar had some very interesting cocktails and the staff was very sweet and helpful. Breakfast was plenty and delicious, and we had the opportunity to try other foods from the lunch as well as dinner menus. Good variety! All in all a great little hotel with welcoming staff, good food and a very nice spa.

Nice and comfortable hotel”

I had a pleasant stay at the Queen Grand Boutique Hotel. The room was spacious and I had a free upgrade because the hotel was full. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel. The breakfast was also adequate and it was nice that there was the option of having something extra prepared for me each morning, aside from the offerings at the buffet spread. On the last night, two friends joined me in the room. We needed extra towels and they were delivered promptly. On the one downside, I could hear some music from either a pub or restaurant close to 11 pm. It is possible because of where the rooms I was occupying was located. Aside from that, this is a nice pleasant hotel and I would say that it was value for money booking into the Queen Grand Boutique Hotel.

Our stay at Queen Grand boutique was very pleasant. The hotel has a great design. Rooms were comfortable, tastefully furnished, and clean. The staffs are friendly, professional and courteous. Perfect place to stay”

The hotel provides airport transfer for an affordable fees. We arrived earlier than scheduled, but the hotel staff greeted us with smiles and humbleness. While there was no available room for us yet to check in (due to full booking the day before which is understandable), they did their best by serving us welcome drinks and suggested to try their sky bar upstairs. They also offered help if there was anything we need with the tour planning. Will definitely stay here when we come back to Phnom Penh again. Thank you to all staff of Queen Grand, we had a pleasant stay.

Custmer service, room, breakfast

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff were great, the room was better than expected. We returned to Phnom Penh after a trip to the south coast. We cancelled the hotel we were meant to return to so we could stay here again. We had to spend our last 2 nights at the sister hotel next door, the king grand hotel. The Queen Grand is far superior, there is no comparison.

Fantastic hotel, great service”

Beautifully modern, large and clean throughout. Very attentive and polite staff. Very convenient location.

Loved our stay here and would return if we come back to Phnom Penh. From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and polite, providing us with complimentary drinks and cold towels. Throughout our stay they always remembered our room number and favourite drinks at breakfast and would always ask if there was anything they could do to help. We always noticed them pointing out safety tips to other travellers such as ensuring necklaces were not showing, or bags secured to prevent robberies when walking around the city. The hotel is located at one end of the riverfront so it is around a 10minute walk along the main road to the main restaurants....but you get to walk past the royal palace! The journey also costs only $2 max by tuk tuk. The location also means that you get no noise at night. The rooms are very modern and are cleaned daily, and towels are changed on daily basis. Breakfast is a buffet of fruits, breads and cereals. With a separate menu of hot items that are cooked to order and are delicious. (Includes eggs benedict, omelettes, noodle dishes, Cambodian porridge) The rooftop pool and bar is a fantastic place to relax after a day in the city and it is remarkably quiet up there! The only thing I could even try and improve on would be the laundry costs as its $1 per item whereas other hotels charge $3 a kilo....but if that's an issue then there are street laundrettes across the road for $1....I was clutching at straws for negatives!!

We felt so relaxed and at home here. Our room was spacious, quiet and clean. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of choices and special orders available. The pool/spa on the roof was just the thing for soaking away the heat that gathered during our daily trips. The staff are some of the friendliest folks we have met anywhere. They have a great deal of local knowledge and we appreciated their cautions as we ventured out each day. We will definitely return next time we're in Phnom Penh!!

Nice Hotel”

Nice Clean Comfortable Hotel with Attentive Staff

This is a new hotel and the standard of the rooms is better than I've experienced before in Phnom Penh in this price range. We didn't dine here (except for a reasonable breakfast) so cannot comment on the food. The first night was terrible due to loud chanting from nearby Monks that went on for a full hour several times during the night, not the hotels fault, but they moved us after I requested it, helped with moving our things, and then checked every day after to see if we had got a good nights sleep (which we had). Will stay here again without doubt.

We really enjoy our stay at Queen Grand Boutique. This hotel is centrally located right close to tourist attraction. It was an easy walking distance to Royal Palace, National Museum and Riverfront area. Staffs were very helpful and wonderful. The food at restaurant was excellent. We will be back here again and not even consider somewhere else for our next trip to this city. Highly recommend!

Nice new hotel with a few steps to improvement”

Location, Travel desk, new hotel

We changed our Agoda booking at the last minute in favor of Queen Grand Boutique after we saw concerns about the location of our previous choice. We loved this location, close to the Riverfront Quay, good restaurants and shopping, and the Royal Palace/ Silver Pagoda. The hotel is brand new, and while the staff is friendly and earnest, they have some learning to do, in accommodating English speakers and providing first rate customer service. Our room was nice and clean, but the pillows were rock hard and the powerful A/C blows directly onto the bed. The lighting in the bath is hideously dark, and there is no mirror in the room where makeup can be applied with decent light. There were 3 windows and a small balcony, which we liked, but the window construction is poor allowing sound and heat to penetrate. Only one nightstand is supplied, ONE hanger in the closet, and no racks for luggage! We used our seating bench. The safety box has an extremely complicated combination lock, which took us several times to master. We were not surprised to find the box had never been used before. There is a business center in the King Grand Hotel next door, and we did get permission to use it, but the Queen should have its own. The King also has a small pool, which we didn't use. Breakfast is only OK. Finally, we asked for airline pickup, and were frustrated that we waited half an hour after clearing immigration and getting our bags before the driver arrived. Due to similar names with another hotel, and the newness of Queen Grand Boutique, we had a hard time contacting the hotel. I criticize Agoda for not putting the phone number of the hotel on the voucher they supply. Just as we were ready to get a taxi, the driver arrived...in one of the poorest cars we traveled in during our 6 weeks in the region. Redeeming this, the driver who took us back to the airport was introduced by the hotel for a tour a day earlier, and Dara was a dream, patient, knowledgable and reliable.

Extremely clean, wonderful staff, excellent food

We loved this hotel! From the moment we walked in it was very stylish. Our room was very clean and well appointed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. All the meals, including the buffet breakfast, were of a high standard. The sky bar was very relaxing with great views over Phnom Penh. The sky bar also had daily cocktails that were great! The tour assistant is fantastic. She organised all our tours and ongoing transport throughout Cambodia for the next two weeks. She made our holiday hassle free. We highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

Staff were very friendly. Room was clean. Taxi to/from the hotel was around $13-15. Tuk tuk to central market was $2-3. Easy to get to everywhere really. There's a cafe which having soft-opening just next door which provides very nice coffee and cakes. Don't forget to try. If you are tired of the busy Phnom Penh and looking for somewhere to have a drink. There's a backpacker place on the other side of the road, relaxing with lovely music. Also try the rooftop pub of the hotel. Can sit in the Jacuzzi (without bubbles as it's off at night) with a glass of wine. Chillax night.

The hotel location is good, Staff is frindly . Checkin and out was a brezze, We arrived early in the morning around 10,00am after flying from Kuala Lumpur. The friendly receptionist, quickly checked us in . and srved us with a welcoimg drink. The location is withing walking distance to the royal place. few minutes ride(Tuk Tuk) away from the Naga Casino, Eon Shopping centre, Phnom Penh night market. Hotel is boutique style and nice and clean. Breakfast is reasonanbly good, Three is a smal spa/pool and a bar.at the roof top. We had a lovely dinner at the roof top while watching the sunset.. We travelled to Siem Reap from here. The intercity bus(Giant bus company) actually comes and pick you up from this hotel and drop u off at the main boarding station.

A good place to relax”

comfort, quiet, helpful staff

I booked the kingsize with balcony for 6 days: very pleasant clean room, plenty of pillows, small seated sofa area and table. Originally I booked this room as a couple but my girlfriend couldn't make the trip, nevertheless I was satisfied as a solo traveller. Tuk-tuks wait outside to transfer you to central area and riverfront, which you'll need as it's a bit of a walk in the hot sun to the nearest stretch of riverside cafes. The room was peaceful and gave me a solid night's sleep. Its like an oasis of calm in this vibrant city, nestled close to its big brother hotel King Grand Boutique. A nice chilled atmosphere within awaits. Very clean, good robust in-room safe. Electronic entry key fob. Nice friendly, helpful staff.
