Room had no heater”
It was really ashamed that we didn’t sleep the whole night bcoz of the cold. My wife was really upset. It was the worst experience I have ever got. I demand my full money back as it was really the disturbing night for me and my wife
Great little hotel”
Nice sized room , beautiful balcony, easy parking and friendly staff upon check-in. My husband and I enjoyed our time here for our wedding anniversary. Didn't have any issues with noise as some other reviews suggest. Only con was the lack of close breakfast options around over the weekend.
Shame about the noise ”
The apartment is ideal as a low cost accommodation option in the city, the staff are great and the rooms are modest but clean. Parking at $20 per night is a bit steep because it is an alley and not secure, but the noise from the street is a definite issue. Take ear plugs
Very convenient to go to the bus station nearby.
A hidden gem”
The suite was very well appointed and though we were only overnighting we could have stayed for days. Plenty of wonderful restaurants nearby from upscale to low cost. Would definitely consider this venue again if the need arises.
Great location - nightclub at rear ”
Asked for a quiet room and got room 12 - a few meters from the night club that boomed music til 1:45am. Really appreciated the late check out guys so thanks for that - I needed the extra hour sleep I think I got!! Lol
Canberra Motorcycle Group”
Great location, clean & suited large group.
Great place ”
Good, clean and helpful staff
Clean, spacious, perfect location ”
Unfortunately air con wasn't working so it was quite cold. Aside from that, a good experience at Quest.
If you decide to stay here, do not accept any room with numbers 8 to 12. You will be directly above the Irish pub, and if you are extra unfortunate to be in 11 or 12, directly opposite the Highball Bar...which plays very loud music, trades to 3.00 a.m., has an endless stream of noisy customers coming and going. When it finally closes, the staff sit on the stairs and talk loudly for another half an hour or more. By 4.00 a.m. it finally becomes quiet. If it's Saturday morning, by 06.30 the garbage truck reverses down the laneway directly beneath the windows nd begins the noisy business of emptying all the dump bins...and compressing the rubbish, which includes all the bottles. Seriously, those rooms should NOT be let to guests, particularly on weekends! To make matters worse, we turned our doona over and it had a terrible grimy stain on it. Slept without it! With no reception after 8.00 pm, there was no way of rectifying any issues.
Good value and in the middle of Canberra. Would stay again.
Very clean and spacious. Great shower. Right in the centre.
Large apartment in the heart of Canberra”
Centrally located with many restaurants and bars at your doorstep. The rooms are very large with lounge and kitchen. Late check out was arranged and the staff were helpful and friendly. Note that the reception is not 24 hours.
Don’t waste your money! ”
The price was good that’s the only pro! Room was generally clean but found floors very dirty, shower horribly temperamental no consistency in water temperature. Extremely noisy all night due to clubs around staff were not interested in being helpful. Facility website said included Foxtel only a few standard channels available no Foxtel at all. Small bar fridge in a 1 bedroom apartment is ridiculous and too small Kitchen was clean but no adequate cooking apparel at all. Beds uncomfortable. Lounge had dark long hair all over it and through carpet too. Sheets on queen bed after being made felt gritty and dirty to sleep in. Parking is extremely limited and expensive at $20 a night and the parking area is in back lane that is always busy and hard to manoeuvre in large car. Elevator is extremely noisy and could be heard at all hours from bedroom. No lightswitch to turn off balcony lights so they stayed on glaring into our bedroom all night extremely annoying. Will never stay here again
Generally good but poor bed.”
All good except for bed ,small ,hard ,uncomfortable. need better beds

Great location and staff but very noisy at night”
Was there on a Friday night, regrettably this meant that the noise from an amateur band playing in a nearby venue was very loud all evening. Don't know if this happens every night, but would stop me staying there in the future
Thank you for your comments regarding Quest Canberra. Firstly let me apologise about the noise from the surrounding area during your stay. We are continuing to work with local business to ensure that the level of noise in the surrounding areas is kept to reasonable limits including licensed venues and restaurants. Since your visit we have now got earplugs available at reception to ensure our guest comfort. Again thank you for staying at Quest Canberra, and myself and the team look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Regards, General Manager Fahim Malik
The staff were really brilliant - very helpful, friendly and went beyond the standard to help. Great location, good value, just needs a little bit of an update. Some of the fittings in the apartment were showing their age - a surprise for a Quest apartment.

Clean, basic, sufficient, central”
Was there for ANU graduations. It is very central, however they have very limited parking and their offsite carpark is quite far away. Rooms are a bit dated but clean and reasonable for a few nights stay. Fairly close to ANU (walking distance). Staff are friendly. Plenty of restaurant options nearby. If you dont have to stay close to ANU id probably find somewhere better for not much more $.
