Great Service, Great Location”
i originally planned on staying at the quest hotel for a week, but ended up staying a month. value for money when i was here in may-june 2012 the value for money was incredible. i paid around us per night without breakfast. by comparison, the cebu marriott, was running around us per night – a little over twice the price, and i imagine no better quality. i looked at half a dozen hotels in cebu before settling on quest. other hotels in cebu running in the $50 - $60 range don’t even come close in terms of quality. and my high expectations were met after i moved in. location the location is great, right across the street from the ayala mall, which is the most upscale mall in cebu. ayala a good place to hang out with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops with fast internet connections. (unfortunately, like most hotels the internet connection at quest is a slower than i would like for my work.) quality the hotel is brand new. when i first arrived they were still finishing outfitting the upper floors. it is impeccably clean and everything is brand new. the rooms are well designed, and the hotel has a clean, spacious feel to it. despite being near a busy road, i heard almost no noise from outside and always slept soundly. food the philippines are not renowned for the food. i haven’t had a meal here that impressed me. having said that, the food in the hotel is the best i have had in the philippines. it’s the same standard as you’d expect of hotel food in a us hotel that knows how to do food well. not just a generic menu designed to serve the lowest common denominator, but actually a good menu with really good food. (they do have all the regulars like steak and burgers, but they do it well.) friendly staff the staff have been consistently friendly and helpful. i feel welcomed every time i enter the hotel at whatever time of day or night.

Newly Built Hotel at Center of Cebu”
Attended a 2-day conference held at Quest Hotel and decided to also stay there as well to save myself some time. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my stay. The food is quite decent, although I've had better breakfast buffets from other, cheaper hotels around the country, and the service is a bit slow, so I would not recommend eating at their restaurant unless you're there specifically for the buffets. Since the hotel is really new, everything inside is also still spanking new and clean. Best of all, wifi in the rooms and pretty much all over the hotel is fairly fast. Quite rare in the Philippines where hotels in this price range usually have spotty wifi coverage in rooms. That being said, room's still a bit pricey for Cebu where you can find decent hotels for half what you're paying at Quest, but if you're willing to splurge a little, I think the buffet, the location, and above all, the wifi coverage, is worth the extra $20-30 you'll be paying compared to other, cheaper hotels around Cebu.

Excellent hotel and will be back soon!”
Quest Hotel is probably the best hotel that we have stayed in Cebu. We have been to many, and this is probably the best one. Staff are super courteous and helpful. They make you feel really special. They can also speak a very good quality of English. Check-in is fast no matter how long the queue. Staff make sure that everyone is attended to. Check-out is a bit slow though. Had to queue for ages in the morning. Food is excellent and at a reasonable price. The only place we would eat non-Filipino (aka International) cuisine is at this hotel. They got everything right. Probably the best chefs in Cebu. They also sold fresh bread every morning and my little son loved the pan de sal! We have stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks and we had a very very good stay. I think their Deluxe room was better than their Premium Deluxe though. The downside is the terrace. It is covered with a wall that is too high up that you don't see anything when you're seated. And the rooms seem to be smaller in the Premium Deluxe. The parking space is very good too. Super spacious and quite clean. The location is also very central, that if you needed anything or wanted to eat out, you just cross the road and you've got Ayala Center! Another downside is that housekeeping sometimes forget to replace the towels (we didnt have towels a few times when we got into our room), or shower caps, etc. Minor issues. I think housekeeping needs better training. We are very very happy that we stayed here. We would stay again the next time we come back to Cebu.

My Kind of Hotel ”
Every time I travel, I am really not particular about hotel ratings as long as it's clean. After all, I only get to stay inside the hotel for a few hours because most of the time, I am out in the jungle exploring the culture and the best places to visit. Quest Hotel is highly recommended if you are like me. I cannot think of anything to complain about my stay in Quest Hotel. It definitely exceeded my expectations that we extended our stay and they gave us free upgrade. I so love the smell of this hotel. Rooms are very well-maintained unlike other 4 or 5-star hotels. Wifi connection is very speedy! They serve good food - I love the wide variety of their breakfast buffet. The very friendly and courteous staff is outstanding! I must commend Mr. Roehl Cabahug for being extra helpful. On our last last day, I left my personal travel pillow inside the hotel car that drove us back to the airport, and Roehl was so kind enough to reach out to me and ship my pillow from Cebu back to Manila, at the expense of his time and effort. Overall, I enjoyed my stay in Quest Hotel. Will definitely stay in this hotel again, if ever I go back to Cebu City.

Fabulous beds, great rooms, warm staff”
I love staying at this hotel. Last year I spent four nights here, between various legs of my trip around Cebu/Bohol and this year I came back with my sister and mother for the first and last nights of our 3-week holiday in Panglao. The staff at the Quest Hotel bent over backwards to accommodate my various requests and everything was done with a smile. The rooms are clean and relaxing, with great air con, fast wifi, good TV options, clean bathrooms with free toiletries, fridge and safe box. I didn't use it this time but I know from past experience that the room service menu is extensive, good and reasonably priced. The Quest is centrally located, so all of the taxi drivers know it. It is also adjacent to the Ayala Shopping Centre, which makes it easy for changing money, sorting out local sim cards, stocking up on things you forgot to pack etc or just trying out the many food outlets or other activities across the way. If I return to Cebu City again, there is no other place that I would stay. Love this hotel!

Great city hotel”
We stayed in this hotel overnight in Cebu City before going to the Shangri La. We used the Quest as a base to visit the (few) historical attractions, the fort, Jesuit house, Yap Sandiago house and Casa Gororda. The historical sights are just a short taxi ride away from the hotel, and definitely worth doing to get an insight in to the local culture before stepping it to the bubble of a beach resort. The hotel has only been open for one year so it has not yet had the wear and tear. It's a modern, very clean and comfortable business style hotel. The staff were efficient and friendly, the wifi in the room was fast and easy to connect to. The room was very clean, and a decent size, with all modern amenities which made for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet spread was good, international and catered for the locals, and surprisingly good western food too. Given the low cost of this hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality, service and amenities in this hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to stay in Cebu city.

The Best Hotel in Cebu”
This hotel is located right opposite Ayala Mall and is in a very safe location right in the heart of Cebu City. I have personally been to this hotel on 7 seperate ocasions over the last 6 years and can honestly say, for value for money, being located in a very central part of the city, safe and friendly with fantastic hotel service, this IS the hotel to stay at. There is nothing wrong with this hotel, there are no negatives, only positives which I’ve experienced like full and I mean full buffet breakfast, literally everything you could want, clean swimming pool with hotel security staff monitoring everyone’s safety, large and clean hotel rooms, the junior suites are great value for money and have fantastic views of the mountain, and all of the staff are well accommodating and always great you with a smile literally everywhere you go throughout the hotel. If you are looking for a full valued, clean, very well located safe hotel, the Quest Cebu City is my choice.

Great hotel with great buffet selections”
Overall, my stay was highly satisfying. Most of the hotel personnel - the reception staff, the cleaning staff, the engineering staff, the restaurant staff, and even the security staff - were very friendly and accommodating. The room my sister and I stayed in was very comfortable and it was just right for a silent and relaxing vacation within the city. Not all food items in the hotel were affordable, though the breakfast and dinner buffets were well worth our money. It is only right that Ayala Center Cebu was just across, so we got our meals reasonably cheap. My only downside was a wall panel (behind this panel was the aircon unit) below the window, which kept flapping. It even opened once while we were asleep. I hope the engineering staff has resolved this issue. I highly recommend Quest hotel for locals and foreigners alike. The buffet is superb and visitors to the hotel can really enjoy their vacations.

Half day gone (check in 3pm and check out 11am)”
I stay at the Quest whenever there is availability because it is at the center of my business deals in Cebu; perfect location. I arrived the hotel almost noontime and understand that room may not be available just yet. I booked a room with balcony and told them I preferred the room with the poolside view. I was told that I would be sent an SMS when my room is ready. So I went off to a restaurant about 2 kms away from the hotel. It was nearly 2 pm and still did not get an advise from Quest. I decided to just go back anyways, and see if the room is ready. It wasn't. I bought an ice cream which I already finished and the room was still not finished. I was so pissed and called for the Duty Manager. She was not at all friendly, nor accommodating, quite arrogant in fact when I told her my concerns that I was the only one waiting for a room there. She said the standard check-in time is 3pm! Are you kidding me? Their check out time is 11am and check in at 3pm?? That's half day gone from a guest. I don't think that's fair. She also casually told me that my preferred room was unavailable because of high occupancy. I absolutely felt my presence was not valued by this Duty Manager, like she didn't need my business. She pissed me off big time that I can't even remember her name. Next day I went to the toilet and I almost slipped because the bedet hose was dripping. I went down to talk to the Duty Manager Mariel Daugdaug and she had it addressed right away...moved my shower head as well to avoid water spillage outside the shower room...and placed foot towels to ensure I don't slip. That's what I call service. That evening I noticed my coffee cup has not been washed properly, and my aircon started to drip after. Manager Mariel came up to my room twice...1st with the Housekeeping supervisor to make him aware of the situation, and 2nd time with engineering to fix my aircon and put more foot towels. She even offered to give complimentary breakfast because of all the hassle. This ges

Dear Ms. Santos, Thank you for staying at Quest Cebu. We sincerely apologize that you have faced challenges during your arrival. We have noted that you have arrived at the hotel at 1206H on you arrival date and our team was able to provide you the room at 1400H, 1 hour earlier than standard check-in time. Rest assured, we will continue to work towards delivering room request earlier and ensuring better communication regarding waiting time. Furthermore, we have tried our best to accommodate your request of having the room overlooking our pool but due to high occupancy we are only able to accommodate a room with a city view. As for the challenges which you faced in our room, we are continuously working on improving our furniture set up and furnishes including the air-condition and bathroom to ensure a cool, clean and comfy experience for our valued guest like yourself. We look forward to welcoming you back during your next trip to Cebu City. Best Regards, Quest Management
Great value luxury hotel”
Wow! What a hotel. Reasonably priced hotel located walking distance to Ayala Mall in Cebu City. The hotel is high end. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. check in and checkout was smooth and the staff friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet was massive in size and variety. The quality of the food was great. My room price did not include breakfast but it was subsidised promotional price. The room has a room safe, well appointed bar fridge, hot shower, large comfy bed and as I was on the 17th floor expansive views across Cebu City. Security is amazing with x-ray and dog searches conducted on all bags. The Hotel has its own Catholic Mass at 10.45am on Sunday for staff and guests conducted by a real Priest (only in the Philippines!!!) The pool is a great option to cool off, located high up with views over Cebu city and has a great swim up bar and life guard on attendance. The gym was well equipped and air conditioned. Overall AA+

Great location, right in front of a big mall”
I liked my room at quest hotel, it is very clean and has good amenities. it has a nice clean feel and the room service is great. i can tell they really want to deliver good service to their guests. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the malls. its tricky crossing the busy street but so far there was always a person assigned to help the guests cross the street so we did not have any trouble there. the best thing that i liked about this hotel is the wifi! i stayed in a lot of hotels around cebu and so far, quest hotel has the fastest internet connection. if you like your internet i recommend staying here. i was also impressed with their security, they had a canine unit at the front door. i wished i had breakfast included with my booking because it was pricey having it separately. they have a good carpark that goes direct to the 6th floor so you can actually leave your car there. they had a nice pool on the 7th floor. i haven't tried it but my partner did. he did not like it very much he said there was stuff floating and said the set up wasn't very good. he went to use the shower but there were only toilets. overall i loved my stay at the quest hotel and will stay here again when i come back next year. i hope they will maintain everything!

We will be back”
When we arrived in Cebu all ferries to Bohol were cancelled due to an approaching typhoon, and we were forced to stay in Cebu for 3 days. We made a last minute booking and what a great choice it was! The staff at check in were really friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, aircon worked well and shower had hot water and good water pressure. The room offered amazing views (through the rain) over the city. The buffet breakfast was amazing with a big variety of western and Philippino food. When the rain stopped for a while we enjoyed the big and clean pool. The hotel offers a great and affordable massage service-so good in fact we had it every day. The hotel is very well located just across the road from the Ayala Mall. Ayala has everything you would need from shopping to many restaurants. Quest is a great hotel and I can reccommend to anyone. We WILL BE BACK!!

awesome hotel, good location and clean rooms!”
when we arrived at quest we were greeted by friendly staff and security guards. our room was big and the king-sized bed was amazing and soft, we didn't have breakfast included but were drawn to pay for it after realizing it included cheeses, pesto, salad, eggs, breads and pastries, fruits, etc. great quality for the price, the nearby ayala shopping centre is full of good clothing stores, supermarkets, and romantic outdoor eateries. also, the swimming pool at quest is lovely. after this we moved to another hotel, just because that was how we booked it before beginning our trip, but ended up wishing we could have been at quest the whole time. in my opinion it's a five-star hotel with great service and the tour we booked to bohol was even given to us at a lower price than surrounding tour companies! however, i should warn that if you don't have to spend more than three days in cebu, don't. there's not a lot to do besides shop and go on a day-trip to bohol.

A great place at a good price.”
I did not even know Quest existed when I planned my 2 week trip to Cebu for the Sinulog Festival. Had I known I would have booked the entire 2 weeks here. As it was I booked 7 nights at a resort on Mactan Island that was a nightmare and gave up 3 nights there to go somewhere decent, which as it turned out was the Quest Hotel. My next adventure was to the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino which a local I met at the grocery store in Ayala Mall described as cold, which I thought fit the place perfectly. I was only there 2 nights before transferring back to Quest. I will review the Waterfront another time. Suffice it to say, the Quest Hotel is a nice place, close to the amazing Ayala Mall and many other places. The staff is tremendous and friendly and helpful. The beds are good and the internet works! And the mall is just a short walk from the hotel. If you cannot find something to make you happy there, you never will be happy! The pool is a bit small but other than that I have no complaints at all.

Good like always, but the Breakfast is now speciality for Asiens”
In the last years I enjoined the stay in the Quest hotel - and even the big and marvellous Breakfast. But the Breaklfast changed now in direction for people from Asia, maybe the reason is, that more and more guests from Korea, Japan are the majority of Guests there. The Breakfast is still great and from a good Quality but the variety (cold cuts for instance) is obviously less - but the staff is very friendly, helping and nice - thanks staff ! Still i like that hotel and I will visit it again in the future, if I stay in CEBU City! QUEST HOTEL is still my best choose!
