Superb”
Small dorm with only four beds so it was perfect. Clean room and clean bathroom. Near the train station (10min by walking) and there are two buses that goes near the seaside (5min by walking). The owner is really kind and he does his best to help people or create a social atmosphere in this hostel ( he arranged a meeting for the backpackers during my stay) I dont think I could have a better stay in Tainan elsewhere, so highly recommended.

Home Away From Home”
It's such a quaint and homey place. The owner was very nice and friendly. On my arrival he gave me a tour of the house and where the bathrooms and toilets are located. He gave me fruits and beer every night. Most of the guest where Pokemon Go players attending the Tainan Safari Zone so everyone was friendly with one another though this was the first time they all met. I would definitely come back again, and bring my family when I visit Tainan.

Nice hostel with kind and helpful owner ”
The hostel locates in a small and quiet alley less than 1km from Tainan station. Very good location to Chikah Tower, bus station to main tourist attraction. The host is nice, he greets you with refreshing welcome fruit, and organizes a “party” for everyone staying at the hostel. It’s really nice to sit down and get to know other fellow travelers and share some stories as well as useful tips.

One of best hostels I’ve stayed”
This is a wonderful hostel with great owner. The owner goes out of his way to make you comfortable and accommodated. Bringing fresh fruit for guests to enjoy nightly and providing personal map of all the places of interest in the city. The rooms and showers are very clean and comfy. Would highly recommend if staying in Tainan.

The host was extremely friendly and helpful. He provided a map that recommends some must-visit spots and must-try foods! I’m a foodie lover and likes exploring historical places. It’s my second time visiting Tainan and I’m still overwhelmed with the slow paced lifestyle and amazing views and delicious foods. Okay, let’s go back to this hostel. I booked a three person room and it was clean and spacious enough. The location is not bad either and accessible to a lot tourist spots. 😊

Friendly boss and hot shower, free laundry”
I was doing a cycling tour in taiwan and I came in late from kaohsiung to Tainan, and the boss was so friendly to greet me and show me all those facilities. The shower was hot and strong, and pretty too. The laundry was free and the building was clean and i made many friends in the living room just because the boss are so talkative. And I am sure I will come back to stay.

Actually I want to keep this hostel as a secret because I like this hostel so much. The building is not new, but it’s clean and cosy. The owner is a very nice person. When I come to Tainan I’ll surely stay in this hostel.

Awesome experience ”
Location is 15-20 minute walk from train station On quiet street Awesome owner holds nightly gathering for guests with a beer and fresh fruit to get guests to hang out before bedtime from 9-11pm. Provides fresh fruit snack at checkin and has large map of places of interest to review so you know where everything is and how to get there. Super clean and attentive to guests needs. Big rooms; large keyed locker; provide hand towel size shower towels; individual packets for shampoo/shower wash . 4 floors stairs only Toilet on first 2nd and 4th floors Shower on 2nd and 4th floors. Overall a great experience!! Definitely recommend!!

Best in Tainan ”
Great hostel located in heart of old down..in a quiet alley.. tons of cultural/tourist spots and restaurants around. Owner is very professional and cordial, greeted every new comer with a plate of fresh local fruit and a brief introduction of the city(many valuable advices provided) The house is maintained very well- neat and orderly, the decorations of good taste. Last but not least, the owner throws gathering party every night at 9pm, imagine coming back from a day’s exhaustive tour with a table full of fresh fruit,snacks , beer and smiling faces waiting. Only thing is male’s room doesn’t have toilet on the Sam floor. But it is ok. 这家青年旅舍真的十分不错，位置好，闹中取静，出门几步就是著名景点赤崁楼。好多美味餐厅和食摊。便利店也很近。老板当地人，热情，职人精神。每晚房友们聚会，老板请大家水果小吃啤酒。强烈建议。

The owner of this backpacker hostel works hard to give a friendly feeling, all the comments here about this subject are true. A very good place to meet people. Clean dorms and bathrooms. I didn't like the matresses though, too thin, also the pillows.

Nice place to explore the city”
Actually it's a really good hostel. The owner was really friendy and gives a introduction where and what to visit in the city. Everything was so perfect, comfy beds with light and plug, lockers, soap, towel, a bottle of water....clean and organised. Bathrooms not the newest but with everything you need. coffee, tea and hot water for free. really nice!!

Simple but great!”
Stayed 3 nights and I was really enjoy with the gathering every night with free Taiwanese fruits, snacks, beer and drinks. The host is very nice and considerate. He provided a coloured map marked with attractions, food, t-bike and etc. The room is simple but facilities are complete. Free laundry, dryer cost only $20 for around 40 minutes.

Really great hostel. Central location, comfortable rooms with curtained beds, clean washrooms and a good chill area on the main floor. Also has free laundry. The owner is super nice and he gives you a ton of information about the sights, and also gets people together sometimes in the evenings with free snacks and drinks.

Great place, great location. Mr Chen is very nice to us, treated us , taught us the way to tour around. We had a great night. It is a decent place, the only thing is 3 bedroom tatami is bigger and cheaper than 4 bunk bed .

The accomodation was clean and really central. The staff was super friendly. The owner did even organise a little party so that the travellers could connect with each other. I can highly recommend you to stay there.
