Excellent Place to stay”

Excellent Comfort, Excellent Service and Good Location

I was surprise when I reached Chisun Grand Sapporo. The hotel is definitely value for money as it is located near the shopping district, the room including the bathroom was very spacious and the staffs were very helpful. Further there is no additional charges when I left my luggages at the hotel while I travelled out to other parts of Hokkaido (ie. outside of Sapporo). I will definitely return to Chisun Grand when I travel to Sapporo!

Nice hotel, worth the price”

Good price, good location

We thought this hotel is not very convenient as it is far from Sapporo Train station, however we were wrong - this hotel is actually near a lot of restaurants & in comparison with Sapporo Train station area - this hotel location seem much livelier. Unfortunately we did not spend a lot of time in this hotel as we took it as a stop over (to lay our heads) but if we are to visit Sapporo again, we will definitely give this hotel some thoughts.

Convenience for transportation, Clean room.

I stayed january 15th-16th.This hotel is good. Its room is so clean, there are a shower toilet, wide screen TV, and any amnities for bath time. Staff is also good, kind to show us ways in Sapporo if we wanna know them. I don't know how much the cost is in high season, but I think the price is reasonable. I recommend that you stay for business or usual trip.

Affordable small rooms”

Affordable and clean

Rooms are smaller but very clean and functional. Hotel is not located near sapporo station. However, if you are driving to town it should not be a problem. JR station should be near too. Although hotel rooms are small the general design is modern and clean. The price of this hotel is so affordable it makes up all the bad things about it and i have a pleasant stay.

Chisun Grand Sapporo”

Nice building, not far from local subway, big room size compare to average japan hotel rooms.
Surcharge for internet access, other than this, nothing really that I dislike

This hotel has a nice lobby and building. Rooms are big enough compare to other japan hotel in Tokyo and other big cities. About 5-7 mins walk to local subway, which costs 200 yen to JR station. Walking distance within area includes shopping, dining and a hot spring spa, all towards the Suzukino direction. You can rent a bike from the whotel for going around, 500 yen for 2 hours. Hotel staff can communicate with English, not fluent, but at least can communicate without problem. I will certainly stay at this hotel again if I go to Sapporo next time.

Chisun Grand Sapporo Hotel”

Cheep, clean, conforible.

It's good. Yet in the middle of nowhere. Only go there if you have to go threw the Hokydo airport. It's in the middle of nowhere yet the hotel is a nice place. The city is dead at night and all there is a airport. That's it. Just an air port. No real night life. If your in Hokydo, go to Sapporo. Much more fun. I mean there are no night life at all. The hotel itself is good. If you just need a place to crash, it will do. Yet if you're looking for fun. Not the right spot. Not really much else to say about it. Quick pit stop that that's it. There is only so much I can say about this place. There really isn't that much to it. It has beds that are nice and its heated. I mean it's not Las Vegas for crying out loud.

Nice sized rooms close to downtown area. ”

A single room turned into double with really nice bathroom (no extra charge)

it was only 1 night for a group of friends, and we had 4 rooms because of it. we had to book 1 single, but the hotel changed it to a double with a really nice shower/bath i think so that we could be together. it is a bit of a walk from the main station, but you could take the subway and then it is closer. good rest for the night and definitely more than what we paid for.

Good location. Only 150 m from Nippon rent a car Susukino branch. 450 m from train station. 2 minimarts opposite of the hotel. Not far much from attraction place and Sapporo town which is so busy. Big room with 2 shower zones (so impressed because we have 3 person). Not much facility in room. No tea or coffee and some facility in the room. You have to pick it up on 1st floor next to reception. A bit dark and out of the way”

clean rooms, big bathrooms and friendly staff

We stayed at Chisun Grand Sapporo Hotel during the Sapporo Ice festival. While the rooms were quite big by Japanese standards, and the bathroom was very adequate, I was left feeling overall disappointed with this hotel. For a start it is not in the city center as it is advertised to be, and it was not an easy walk in the middle of a snowy winter to get to where the festival is held in Odori Park (2 stops on the subway away). The building itself is quite nice, but the lobby is very dark and does not have a nice feel. The room had a nice big king sized bed,

Good location :convenient to access - near JR/Subway Staff is friendly and helpful Internet access is free for 24 hrs. Good value of money
Only on the second time we stayed - the room was filled with strong smell of smoke although we prebooked for non-smoking.

We stayed at this hotel 2 times. On the first day and last day of our Japan trip. Overall, I strongly recommend you to stay here. Its good location, easy to access via JR/Subway and there is the direct train to the airport. Staff is friendly and very helpful, one gave me useful information on airport train so we can save some money. The other one suggest on the good restaurant where local people love (japanese pizza). The hotel is clean and comfort. Facilities is standard and good value of money. Only bad thing I experienced was on the second stay that we got the room with strong smoke smell but it's late night so we didn't want to change the room (they offered we can)

This hotel is situated in the 'Love District' of Sapporo although it didnt seem to make any difference. Was a very nice hotel and the staff tried their best to help us although their english wasnt that great. It is a little way from the train station so if you are backpacking like we are be prepared for a bit of a walk. There is free internet in the room if you have a computer or you can hire a computer from the front desk which was really helpful for us as we needed to book the next leg of our trip. Less than 5 min to subway, convenient store in front of the hotel.
Smell in the room. Staff could not understand English clearly

There were smell in the room probably from smoking. Carpet a bit old. Bed sheets were clean. Towel new and clean, changed everyday if preferred. (Something to do with green saving.) Bathroom size OK. Staff helpful but could speak English very little. Less than 5 min to subway which is the 4th station from Sapporo subway station. Hotel is about a min from main road and is in quiet area. There were 3 of us so no problem when returned to the hotel in the evening (still feel safe). Taxi knew the location.

Only good thing about this hotel is the room space”

I have been seeing all the hotels in sapporo and this hotel has one of the biggest room space which is why I decided to book this place. Also, the location is good and you can walk to Susukino which is where their nightlife is. Other than that, there isn't anything that's worth staying for. There isn't any facilities for us to use and the staffs aren't well trained enough. At least not for us. They basically charge every single thing they can think of such as checking out late, etc. I felt that they should have just increased the pricing and be more lenient with all those small little stuffs. Also, if you are a smoker then do not smoke in the room. They are not lenient with this. The funny thing is most of the restaurants allow us to smoke indoors but not the rooms. Since it was very cold outside, we just smoked in the toilet and we got fined around $150. It just made our experience not so pleasant. Overall, the price is still worth it for the room space and the location.

Large rooms and friendly staff”

Large rooms with aircon and drawers for cloths. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Good breakfast buffé.
The hotel is a bit away from the central area and streets. You have to walk two or three blocks to the metro station. They had a charge for using the Internet. We missed a microwave own. The interior was rather old, kind of 80s look.

The hotel is situated somewhat on a back street, and its a bit off from the central area. The staff were friendly and helpful. They helped us find a bank that accepted our bank cards for withdrawel, and booked a taxi for us for no charge. We had two double rooms next to each other interconnected with a door. It was great, almost lika a small flat. The rooms were spacious compared to Tokyo. The rooms were clean but a bit old-faschioned. The japanese style breakfast was very good, a buffé with several choices, including bread.
