Price in the high season is too high.”

We paid 135 for a 40 a night room with shared shower and toilet. The internet didn't work upstairs and I had to go to the lobby at 2 AM to get some important things done. The second night I was in the Lobby when a drunk was bothering me at 5 AM. Not recommended for older couples. Late night door slamming and loud yelling at some strange hours. We had to stay because all places were full. This was an unplanned stay so we didn't get our regular places.

Location is bit far from the downtown around 2KM. Restaurant, supermarket, and laundry shop are nearby the hotel

Let's get it straight: is this a brand spanking new five-star hotel? No. This is an older hotel in a part of Anchorage that has perhaps seen better days. That being said, it has character that you won't find anywhere else. In place of your cookie-cutter carpets at, say, a Marriott, it has old varnished hard-woods that money can't even buy anymore. The bedding was comfy and perfectly clean, as were the facilities. Sure, the floor heater wasn't the newest, but I don't care about such things, and this was literally the cheapest place I could find availability in town during high season, and I would definitely go back. The old school wood shake on the outside makes it the most unique building in town. And though I didn't use it, the lobby feels more like a hostel than a hotel (in a good way) because it has some shared books, a few chairs and a communal table, and a communal kitchen with a stove, sink and what-not.

1 shower not functional, other shower dirty, Refrig was stuffed full of old food that people have just left there. No screens on the windows. Bed rolls around on the floor. Furniture was falling apart or was missing some of its drawers. You get the picture. YUCK!

Place is a mess”

The place was more or less very poorly kept. My sleeping pod was disgusting, poorly cleaned and it did not smell good at all. It got to the point where I had to check out early and leave because it became way too much. The staff, especially the manager was very helpful with getting me a refund on the last two days I left early for. But the owner was stubborn, rude, and not helpful in the slightest as if he did not care about his business at all.

Very economical place to stay for a low budget. Clean, tidy for a basic room. Free internet access. Close to cafe accross street for breakfast. Main shops 15 minute walk away. Room was quite warm during day but windows to open helped cool room down. Very good selection of tv channels.

Ghetto”

You have shared bathrooms which the doors don’t shut or lock properly. Everything was cheap and run down. Maintenance had could break into room with a credit card. Never received room service in 5 days. Another tenant got sprayed with mace by some random guy walking by.

値段につられて部屋を予約しました。ですが、割り当てられた部屋は予約したのと異なるタイプ。その際のホテルスタッフの対応がひどかった。また、過去の地震の影響でフロントのドアがかなり力を入れないと開かないとか、二階の床が波打っているなど設備的に不安があった。部屋の窓は一度開けたら、閉じることができない。トイレの水の流れも悪く、フラッシュできなかった。

Vid sängdags konstaterade vi att sängkläderna inte var utbytta utan smutsiga. Natt bemanningen visade inte något intresse att byta, men det blev gjort. Plankgolvet i vårt rum är så "vågigt", möjlig vattenskada, att man lätt snubblade. Att hålla det golvet rent måste vara mycket svårt. Det slitna badkaret med skadad emalj inbjöd inte till något bad.
