Raas Leela Review”
Just a place to sleep
Superb .! Lovely view !. ”
Absolutely fantastic !. The staff was superb !. Place was very close to everything !. Food was brilliant !. Clean rooms !.
Good location but extremely difficult to get to”
Getting to this hotel with luggage is extremely difficult. Our car - Toyota Inova only managed to get up to a certain spot & thereafter had to take the hotel Rickshaw (2 min ride) to the hotel. The staff were helpful and location is superb! The water was not hot enough (we visited in Jan - during winter) and nor was there any heating facilities in the room. Moreover we were woken up in the morning due to staff trying to get rid of a stray monkey which was jumping on our tents. Hotel had wifi which was nice!
Let us keep it simple. Brilliant
good property after reaching the place”
the stay was too good, only problem is the access, to reach this place, one has to pass thru narrow lanes, and only rickshaw can reach this place, your car has to b parked abt 200 mtrs away from the resort.
It was a pleasant and memorable one!
Best location but stay like military school”
We felt that we had entered in to a military school. After crossing tough approach as soon as you enter the room, before u get breath relief you will listen to the strict rules and regulation of hotel. Its neighboring Leela Udepur, but this place has nothing to do with famous leela group of hotels. They have some stupid rules. The tables where you eat dinner, you can't have morning breakfast. You have to sit there only where they ask. I heard that the owner is an architect. He might have designed good but he must not knowing abc of hospitality. People come for leisure to udepur and his best located hotel, not to learn the lessons of military discipline. Like owner like staff. Its good in India to open any business easily as you don't have to prove yourself weather you are trained for the business or not. I would like to say that guests will feel luxury when they get good treatment. If you are fine with rude behavior and can ignore that for the sake of great location then this property is fine otherwise there are more choices with great Rajasthan style hospitality available in Udepur.
Excellent Location - Right on the lake”
Location is the main thing. Do not expect features such as in-room telephone, in-room bar etc. It s just a good quality room, with good basic amenities such as comfortable bed, tv, AC, and a huge bathroom. The most important thing is the location, right on the lake. Excellent views, you feel like you are staying in a five star lake facing resort. View is awesome. Another downside - you cannot eat or drink or smoke inside the tents; though they serve you food on the table just outside the gate of your tent. Food quality is amazing.
nice staff, nice view, and rooms no typicals!”
My stay was very nice! I stayed 3 days, 2 nights. The staff is very friendly, the hotel is very close of Leela Palace, so for make a good SPA it is easy! 20 minutes by walk for the City Palace, 10 minutes for the shops, nice place. The food is good and we have choice for the breakfast.
Nice location with friendly staff, but overprized”
In total average not so exciting: tents are nice - but lots of weather damage, food/breakfast is spartanic.Evening is quite romantic with excellent view, but very cold due to climate and you need heavy coats (no inside room)and too dark for eating- I like to see whats on my plate. The way to the hotel is a long labyrinth of small lanes - leave your shoes outside the room!
Refreshed, recharged & rejuvanile”
recently we had a most enjoyed stay at Raasleela.the best warm welcome we had recived by Jagdishsinghjee made the best first impression of the camp. Our room 103 was cool as the AC was on.it was neat clean and calm.the toiletries were of best quality. The food prepared by the cook Kesarsinghjee was very delicious and tasty.Which was served by a very humble and polite person Saktisinghjee. He is really a wonderful person. Not only the morning but also the evenings were fabulous as the camp provides The best view. Many many thanks to Mohnishjee and Vishvavijaysinghjee for developing and maintaining such a beautiful place. The best part of RAAS LEELA is their ultimate hospitality.Which I had never seen before.I will suggest all peace loving people to visit the place.
Excellent location, value for money at discounted r”
Location is very good but approach is pathetic . The rooms are ok , basically it's a value for money hotel.
The most idyllic setting you could imagine.”
We had the most amazing stay at this hotel and if we ever travel back to Udaipur then we would not think twice about staying there again. We loved every second of it. It view is amazing, situated right on the Lake Pichola. A night time being sat outside our tent-topped room by candel light looking out onto the delicately lit lake was so beautiful. It was an experience we will always remeber. The staff at Raasleela were so accommodating to our every need without being intrusive, they were all great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for its relaxed and romantic atmosphere. It is well located to the old city for sightseeing but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. I would also recommed 'The Food Club' restaurant a mere 3 to 4 minute walk from the hotel if you fancy some equally delicious food one evening. Here you can sit also right on the Lake and see the bridge that connects to the old city and watch the locals washing and playing in the Lake.
Perfect picturesque tents with lovelygarden”
We stayrd here & we enjoyed the lightening Diwali nightat dinner time & cool fresh New year at Sunrise breakfast. Perfect tents with good amenities & spacious clean Bathrooms.Path to hotel is the horrible narrow streets,But once u enter, everything is pleasent.
