    Beautiful Surroundings”

I have stayed here 4 times in recent years, and have always been satisfied. The surroundings are gorgeous an green, with a lovely stream running adjacent. The bungalows are clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms have an outdoors feel thanks to the use of bamboo, stones, and greenery, but are sealed off so no mosquitos. The restaurant is good, offering a delicious range of Thai food. Breakfast is only average however. Staff are friendly and helpful, although don't always speak English well (never been a problem though).

    Great”

Lovely location, so rural and no noise from partying sound systems. The perfect spot to relax away from the stress of work and hustle of town. Staff so helpful, food all thai, and very good indeed. Nice pool and fantastic walks from the hotel. Yes you need transport, but there is enough to do to keep you here. Nearly forgot the reservoir, no buggies charging you double for having the temerity of working in Thailand as a foreigner. Just kayaks and nature to enjoy your hard earned break. We will return of course.

    Good for couples ”

Just not our style... The surrounding area is beautiful, natural - a bit too with nature; I spotted a green snake on our balcony as i was filling the bath, literally a couple of meters away from my young daughter. Went back inside to the dated furniture and small, hard bed and heard rats in the ceiling (Predator Vs Prey situation!) We fully paid but decided to not stay the night and just use this place for the pool which was lovely, with a nice slide and lots of placed to sit. Front desk staff were nice. I'd recommend staying here during the wet season and/or when they renovate the villas.

I never stay in Nakhon Nayok Area before. when my sister asked me to book accommodation for her, I have no idea. At first, I'm really not sure about this hotel but after my sister came back. She told me she will go back here again. Very comfortable location, very beautiful accommodation and very nice staffs.

Idyllic Location - but you need transport”

    Location and environment

this is a fantastic location, very peaceful and beautiful. The people are friendly and helpful. Set in the mountains overlooking a reservoir. Fantastic for a quiet and relaxing get away. Busier at weekends when Thais from Bangkok have weekend breaks. Would love to go back. Be aware this is beautiful, quiet and isolated - you need to think about transport. This is not five star luxury but very comfortable, well maintained and at the high end of this type of resort.

The middle of the Jungle. ”

    Nice Service.

I have been reading about this resort's review. there are so many good reviews. It locates not far from Bangkok. If you want to hide away from the crowded city, I would suggest this hotel. I can hear the sound of Little waterfall at the backyard of the room. and also as good location for hiking as well.

    great escape to nature”

well designed in balance with nature

we visited this hotel after a few busy days in Bangkok. driving the road to this location one felt like driving into the rain forrest. its park with bungalows are well designed and in perfect balance with its surroundings. We stayed in a double villa, large deck with bath tub and shower, overlooking the forrest. The staff made us feel very sopecial by serving us coffee and tea at the deck, while we were seated in the large banboo chairs. Taking an outdoor shower was a bit exciting, as one would never know wether there would be some eyes between all these trees, looking at you ;) Unfortunately we only stayed one night, as this place deserves to stay longer

This resort was located on the Zaithong reservior. I stay at Intanon house, One queen-sized-bedroom with outdoor bath, had a little stream flow nearby. There was some problem about hot water, but staff recoveied verywell.

    Peaceful family getaway”

A truly secluded and peaceful location. We arrived early and the staff worked quickly to ensure we had a room to put our young child to sleep for a nap. Check-in was simple. The grounds were well kept and peaceful with music playing throughout. The pool was clean, and cleaned everyday. The afternoon we went for a high to the waterfall, approximately 15 minutes through the bush, across a river (a few inches of water), and up the side of the river. The resort offers many different outdoor activities on site. The food menu has simple thai offereings that are large in portions and have typical resort prices (80-200 bht for thai dishes that are 20-80 on the street). The morning breakfast during the week was simple (toast, eggs, processed ham, and Kao Tom (thai rice and chicken soup), and powdered warm drink offerings (chocolate, coffee, tea). Breakfast on the weekends is a buffet (eggs, toast, thai salad, juice, coffee, tea, and Kao Tom.) Interesting, the breakfast lacked fruit (weird, as this is Thailand.) Check-out was a breeze. NOTE: our room only had two single beds, but had "pull outs" under the beds to create four beds. We had to ask for another mattress as I wasn't about to have our young son sleeping in a single bed with me. The hotel was quick to accomodate this request after arriving late in the evening from a day out. Cost is 300 bht per night.

Living high end in the jungle.”

I was in search of another spot to visit in Thailand. I have been coming here since '93. I now have lived here with Thai wife since '99. Have seen the range in Thailand and the world. Nakhon Nayok was recommended as a stop over on our way to our farm in Isarn from our primary residence/business in world famous Phuket. I was in search of place with lakes, forest/jungle, streams. Nakhon Nayok met that, it was the end of dry season, but still lush, and nil occupants, so had this wonderful resort to ourselves.

    Beautiful location, great staff”

Had a lovely mid-week break here. It was very quiet, a little off the beaten track. Location is stunning in the forests, although a bit of a drive to the main areas of Khao Yao national park. Rooms were good value, staff were very friendly and helpful (a couple spoke good English). The pool is great and the kids enjoyed the water slide and the ATV motorbikes we hired. Would visit again.

Green grounds and nice rooms, but not very peaceful”

The grounds are green and well kept, the rooms are nice and spacious and the staff are very nice. There is not much to do in the area, at least in the hot season, as the waterfalls are all dry. It was extremely hot, so we stayed in the resort, which would have been lovely if it wasn't so noisy. We were unlucky that there were some works going on, but what was completely unnecessary was the constant music (Kenny G!) playing in the restaurant. Apart from the big groups of people attending corporate events, guests would choose this place for the peace and quiet, and to listen to the birds...

    Mooi resort op mooie lokatie”

This area south of Kaoh Yai NP is much prettier, greener and less touristic than the north side. We were not so lucky with the wood burning in the hills behind the resort which even scared us a little but disregarding that, we really liked the place and the helpful manager.

    Forrest View”

Location, spacious resort, view from room

Situated on the northern edge of a resevoir, and nestled in the southern foothills of Khao Yai Nationl Park, this resort has an exceptional location. Literally surrounded on three sides by forest, and bordered on another by water, this is a perfect place for guests who want to relax, and get away from the stresses of modern life. This is a Thai style resort, so westerners might notice some details they find idiosyncratic, perhaps of the room interiors or decoration. However, the setting of the bungalows will likely be the main focus of their attention. One thing to note is that a car or other form of transportation is essential to reach this location. A mountain bike or motorbike would be a good choice to explore the local area.

    Serene Forest Bungalow Resort”

Quiet forest location in Khow Yai National Park foothills.

Small boutique resort set in serene mountain valley setting. Lush and green forest setting, with a small pool. Free WiFi. Good Thai restaurant. Quiet and peaceful location; nearest shopping and eating at Tesco Mall 20 minutes away. Bungalows are basic but clean, with air-con. Friendly staff. I will definitely be back.

    far from city life”

    quiet, peaceful, relax

this place is so quite far deep in valley, about 15min drive from city area. you dont even have mobile network (DTAC).. There is no wifi in the room, only in dinning hall. However, it is surrounded by beautiful nature with peakcock and parrot roaming freely.. if you need a place far from city and relax, this is a nice place to try, but be prepare to dine in this resort as you wont want to drive deep late in the night as there is no street light leading to main road.

    A beautiful retreat”

Away from the main tourist areas near Nang Rong Waterfalls. Beautiful, well maintained grounds in the Thai resort style.

We visited at mid-week and were the only guests, which made our stay more like being at a bed and breakfast. The Thai food on the somewhat limited menu was delicious and featured locally grown vegetables. The resort staff was attentive and helpful, suggesting local tourist sites. Our room was simple but clean. We enjoyed the outdoor shower on the balcony. Guests can do two short hikes directly from the hotel. The noted Sarika and Nang Rong Waterfalls are a short drive away. Rabiang Prai is an excellent choice for people who want to enjoy nature and a tranquil atmosphere. We would like to go again and stay longer.
