Fantastic hotel stay
Had a truly lovely time at Rachamanka and highly recommend the hotel to everyone. Excellent location in the "old city" in Chiang Mai, close proximity to the Sunday night street bazaar, and friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely consider for our next trip to Thailand!

A great heritage hotel in a lovely location. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the hotel stay.
We could not have dinner on 19th at the only restaurant in the hotel as it was closed to hotel guests on account of an outside function. The staff seemed unaware of any other arrangements for guests like us.

Absolutely beautiful hotel but disappointing breakfast
An absolutely beautiful property, stunning restoration and gorgeous pool. Only negatives were the breakfasts, a little cheap and unimaginative, shop brought pancakes and rubber light waffles - but great cappuccino. I also found the staff not very attentive - poor pool side service. Also on arrival after a 12 hours journey it would have been nice to have been offered a cool drink. The location is perfect. I also recommend the Elephant Nature Park - all rescued elephants from rides , circus and logging. You can walk with the elephants and feed them etc - NEVER RIDE elephants please. I learnt the torturous ways elephants are treated to make them allow humans to ride them and it also breaks bones in their back :-(

room is clean. location is quite good. It is a boutique hotel like an architect museum. The library is a surprise.

Great place to relax
I stayed at the hotel for the last day of my travel. It was much better than I expected. The room condition was great, all staff there was kind and always smiles what's more, breakfast was beyond my expectation as well. If I go back to Chiang Mai, I will surely stayed there for a few days.

Expensive but very lovely
Beautiful property that clearly hired a talented designer with a tasteful vision of peaceful understated Asian Colonial splendor. Very clean, beds very comfortable, generous quality breakfast, exceptional helpful & lovely staff. Definely recommended if you can splurge a bit.
