"Comfortable room, good size"
May 30, 2016
Opened in the summer of 2008, Radegast Hotel CBD has been earning itself rave reviews. Like a great novel, the somewhat ordinary exterior belies the opulence inside. The main hall is marble and gold, with leather trimmed elevators waiting to whisk you to one of 313 rooms. Luxurious rooms with plush beds, large bathrooms, LCD flat screen TVs, and other modern touches ensure your stay will be a fantastic one. Recreational facilities include a sauna, steam room, swimming pool, spa, and tennis courts. The staff is superbly trained to ensure all guests’ requests receive the utmost care and attention. Located in Beijing's ChaoYang district, Radegast Hotel CBD is next to Beijing’s central business district and a 15-minute walk to the World Trade Center. This property is ideal for those business travelers who need a great place to unwind at the end of the day, yet still perfectly situated for tourists who want to see all of Beijing’s famous sites.

reasonable hotel in CBD district”
It's hard to look for a 5-star hotel at this price in CBD district Compare with other 5-star hotels, it is relatively small. But the quantity of room is good. And surprisingly, the cost for extra bed is very cheap, it costs only 1 dollar. Sounds interesting.
Reasonable price in CBD district”
This is a nice hotel with reasonable price in CBD district. Washroom and bath tube is nice. Staff are polite well-trained. The only problem is that there are some problems with this air-conditioning system.
quality hotel, excellent staff”
I got a large room so the spacious area was great. The condition of the hotel was very good and well maintained. Staff was efficient, providing fast service and the concierge was knowledgeable about the areas around BJ. The hotel is located in the Chaoyang district, so it's closer to the 2nd ring road, not the city centre. It's still not far from most things. Metro is about 8-10 minutes, taxis are quite easy to get. This is a luxury hotel, suitable for business or some special activities. There is not much to do at the hotel, so activities must be conducted somewhere else.
spacious rooms. impressed”
Indeed can qualify as 5* for a china hotel. firstly, wifi in the room is free. There is an indoor pool. The SPA is open to outsiders that's why it is designed with class. Hotel guests can use this for free which most chinese hotel do not offer to their own in house guest. My only issue with this hotel is that the train station is quite a distance. there is nothing to seebeside the hotel so you have to walk quite a bit to get something to eat or get to the nearest mall.
Very friendly. service and nice facility”
I stayed for two nights for holiday in Beijing and it is located close to metro. Also it is very close to shopping area ans local restaurants. Room is very clean and spacious. Staff is very friendly. Gym facility including swimming pool and sauna is very impressive.
Good Hotel and Good Service”
the hotel name, no matter in english or chinese, sounds not too familiar to taxi drivers and the road where the hotel situated is real long. it's better always to keep a hotel card or map. though claimed in the cbd, there is virtually not much facilities in the surrounding area, no decent restaurants, shops or convenience stores nearby. the hotel room is good, clean and spacious, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
This is another excellent, new facility in Beijing. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed with excellent facilities. The complimentary buffet breakfast was of a high-quality, with swift, low-key service. The hotel is within 10 minutes walk of most CBD buildings and the nearest subway station. While not as conveniently located as other hotels in the area business travellers should find its location acceptable. Tourists may find its location less ideal for their needs. Given that it offers nothing more than other hotels in the area, I'd chose it over others largely on the basis of price.
Great location and new hotel”
stayed 4 days at the radegast hotel. lovely hotel which is within walkable distance to many things around guomao area. has a very nice swimming pool too which was good as weather was hot in beijing. would stay here again.
Lovely hotel, good location, nice rooms, huge beds”
nice hotel, good location with a narrow local eating choices, however, the china world mall is only 10 mins walk. there is an espresso coffeeshop in the next building. metro 1 and 10 also 10 mins walk. staff can speak english, concierge is helpful, they can help to send small letters with local post or any other things. they reserving cny deposti for extras if the room is prepaid, prepare for it! breakfast is cny, its normal and acceptable, but nothing special, i recommend other places to have breakfast. the rooms has water heatener and tea and nescafe bags, so it is enough to minimum starting of the day. minibar is ok, but i don't recommend to use it, there is 200 m away the local ministore, where the coke is 2 yuan, beer is 4 and water is 1cny. the minibar has enough space to keep it things cool.
A great deal”
i didn't expect too much from this hotel. check in / out was quick, great swimming pool (you need a swimming that but can get away without one), good rooms, nice service, free internet. location is a bit off pitch but i like a walk to office. cheaper than other 5 star hotels. not sure what breakfast is like, i thought with everything else going right i wouldn't push my like.
Great hotel and attentive service”
hotel was great but rooms were very hot, and told aircon not operational. restaurants in hotel quite pricey, and not great, but rooms, gym, service all great. not much in way of restaurants in walking distance.
quite nice place”
It was nice place to stay for while. Not big but clean and kind. It is located near by CCTV. Cross the road, Starbucks is in there. so you can enjoy the breakfast easily before you're going to out.
Great location, near highway. Room is spcious, clean, and well furnished. The only down side was that we had no control of the air conditioner. It was too warm. Bring your swimming cap if you want to use their pool. Otherwise, they won't let you in.
A 4.5 Stars Hotel with 3.5 Stars Price!”
this hotel is trying very hard to match 5 star standard, yet, still a bit of behind at details. location wise is not too bad - near cbd and not far away from center of the city. a better choice if you are looking for best value in term of lower costs for space. parking and internet are free. we have a very impressive memory rewarding to those bell-ladies (not boy). their smiles and services differentiate the hotel from others.
Good hotel with good price”
the hotel is pretty new (2009) and located in the heart of beijing, the cbd. so some of the taxi driver might not find it. the price of the hotel compared with the service they offer is very good. the rooms are really big like an apartment and equipped with two tv's. you have a separate working room which you can also use for business meetings (with separate restroom). the next room is a big sleeping room followed by a huge bath with a round tub. the rooms are not only big, they are also comfortable furnished. in the working room you goit a large desk for your computer work. the bed is really "double-king-size". the cleanliness of the rooms is very good. all in all very nice for a longer stay in beijing.
We stayed at the superior room and the space of the room is just right. The hotel provide free internet access. The staff are helpful and assist us to re-confirm our flight and arrange cab for us. Although the staff speak little english but they have tried their best to attend to our needs.
Great Hotel in Beijing”
Located in the CBD of Beijing. It's relatively new hotel value for money. 5 star hotel with reasonable rate. The room are clean, nice and well designed. The hotel provide free internet access. The only set back is no subway nearby the hotel and the only mode of transport is by cab. As it's relatively new, so not many cab drivers know bout the hotel.
Third visit to this hotel due to business trip. Convenient for me because it is near to the Beijing office at Gindele plaza. In the mall, there is MRT station and it is about 20-minute ride to Tiananmen Square. One complaint about the cleanliness of the hotel is that the room's long leg single sofa bed has black stains on it (all the three hotel rooms I stayed in the past have the same issue).
A best kept secrect in Beijing”
I have been staying at this hotel for the past 2-1/2 years and was never disappointed. Hotel staffs are friendly, everyone tries to help, rooms are always clean and the house keeping staffs are really good. This is one of the few hotels that you can use the hot water kettle and not to worry about the cleanness. On the 3rd floor; there is a restaurant serving traditional Beijing food, the food is great and the price is so reasonable that I wonder how can they survive. If there are anything that I might suggest which will be (1) when the coffee shop serving sandwiches, they do not serve the sandwich with a plat so you basically have to open and eat it with your hand and leave the packaging and leftovers on the table. This is not a 5 star hotel serving standards, (2) you can definitely improve their coffee a little better. I am going back in May and this is one of the few hotels I enjoy.
Executive breakfast is the only thing to complain”
It was pleasant.. better than previous stay as internet worked properly. Breakfast and executive floor felt not enough and things were finished fast. Omlette had to be brought from ground floor restaurant.
