I booked 2 "business class rooms" about 4-5 months in advance. As we were a family consisting of 2 children aged 7 and 14, I contacted the hotel and requested for interconnecting rooms and we were assured by the reservations team that this would be taken care of. At check in, we were told that this was not possible as the hotel did not have 2 adjoining business class rooms. I referred to an email confirmation that I had and the duty manager apologised and began to deal with this. After about 45 minutes, we were told that we would get a complimentary upgrade to a suite that had an adjoining standard room - not entirely satisfied, we hesitantly accepted this as we had to think of the kids, I mean where else would we find another hotel at this time? At breakfast the next morning, the serving staff were totally over whelmed and could not cope with the demand. There was a huge waiting queue and it was quite evident that the restaurant was understaffed. I asked to be served coffee as I sat down for breakfast and it never came until I had to ask again and the manageress there apologised and it was eventually served when I was almost leaving. The following morning, the service was much better but maybe because we were early as we had to check out at 9:30am. The checkout was also a lengthy process. There were no orderly queues and 1 person was serving 2-3 people at times with people just jumping into the reception desks whilst others were being served. In room requests were not dealt with. We were not provided with the usual amenities you would expect from even 3* hotels. When we requested for these to be provided, they did not come until we had to call again after an hour and then they did eventually arrive. I would not recommend this hotel.

needs renovation .....housekeeping staff /department needs fine tuning
does not give a feeling of 4 star property ......just ok ok property .....small things like my room light was not working .....Tv speaker making funny sounds after fixed interval need more housekeeping staff to handle traffic of guests .

Good very expensive
The hotel is great, but when you have limited options in the area to eat dinner, you hope the hotel doesn't take too much advantage. Charging INR500 for a bowl of rice is outrageous! Apart from that experience, which annoyed me, the hotel is otherwise excellent.
