    No issues, very good hotel and hotel chain”

    1. I'm very greatful to the staff for upgrading me to an executive suite. 2. Area is v ery good, not the best, but being in a city like Joburg, it's pretty much one of the better places. 3. The parking is not free...but it;s "free", i.e they pay for your parking. 4. Honestly, I can't stress enough how good the staff were. They were smart, very well trained, polite, observant and attentive. 5. Hotel and rooms are spacious and very clean, you are well taken care of here. 6. I would definetaly recommend this hotel to anyone and prices are fairly reasonable. BTW, they have an execellent restaurant, so you if you don;t want to go out for a gourmet meal, just go downstairs. 7. Only possible issue, lack of free/normal entertainment channels. 8. I want to join the radisson blu club :).

    Easter Getaway”

    My brother in law and I travelled to Johannesburg to celebrate his birthday from 19th to 21st April. With assistance from agoda we located Radisson Blu Sandton Hotel and booked our stay for a very reasonable amount. The stay was very pleasant. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed drinks at the bar and the awesome swimming pool on the 8th Floor which overlooks some great architectural designs of Sandton. The breakfast is also to look forward to.

    Fantastic hotel with very welcoming staff who made us feel at home.”

    Lounge located on the 13th floor is a bit noisy. At 5:am one can hear the talks of the staff and noise from the coffee brewers etc... and that goes past 11pm... breakfast is just delicious and the free shuttle to Nelson Mandela Square is really a wonderful plus. Will definitely go back there.

    A great hotel however, it’s been managed badly, very unprofessional staff.”

    We had to wait 15min for our room even arriving after 19:00pm and yet check in is at 14:00. After taking a shower, the shower was blocked, maintenance came to unblock the shower until after 23:00pm, while sitting in the room, then cleaning came with a ride on car to suck the water which made noise, then the room had a smell and we had to request for air fresheners. We only slept at 2:am and yet had to wake up for work. Terrible experience

    MOST CURT STAFF HOTEL ”

    If you are a business traveler who does not like service with a smile and doesn't care for 'frills' in a hotel, then this hotel is for you. But if you are a non-business traveler who likes friendly and smiling hotel staff, then DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. From the moment of entering the hotel on the ground floor where concierge is located, to the 13th floor where the lobby and reception is located, to the housekeeping staff on the other end of the hotel phone, the staff has been CURT, UNFRIENDLY and UNWELCOMING. As a hotel guest, I find myself as though I am a nuisance and an annoyance to the staff. There were hardly any waiters in the breakfast room to pick up our dishes. In fact, some hotel guests had to sit down on a table that had been recently vacated by another guest and no one cleaned up that table. Our table had stacks of dishes not picked up. WHAT A TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THIS HOTEL HAS! Wish I had booked the Four Seasons. Only reason I did not was because of location.

    Limited Service”

    Chosed the hotel due to price and airport transfer based on Agoda app, was very disappointed when asked on the reception the ride transfer will cost 600Rand. Normal standard price from the airport to the hotel cost 500Rand. Felt cheated as when I searched through the Agoda app, I filtered those hotel who gives free shuttle ride. If you don’t provide free shuttle airport transfer to the guest DONT LIST IT AS YOU FACILITY!, this can be confusing for user. I can get my self a taxi without your help with local directory worse case. Fortunately there is Uber, due to this need to spent extra 500Rand for transport. Agoda need to look into this part. Another is that I was unable to charge my Hotel meal into my room. This would help me on summarize everything under one summary for convenient review when needed. It’s not a big deal, just wasn’t expecting this to be happen to reputable chain of hotel. Nonetheless, the breakfast was good. Really enjoyed to local teas. Well done.

    Birthday Stay”

    Our one night stay at Radisson Blu Sandton, was great. We were celebrating a birthday. I am not impressed with the price of the parking per day then. Most hotels have free parking, this is a rip off to guests, especially if you staying there for a few days.

    The room is so clean and the staff are providing great service to the customer. The hotel facilities are just so perfect & security is really good to keep you stay safe in the hotel. There are free shuttle provided to Mandela Square nearby for each half an hour.

    Nice hotel in a friendly area”

    From the moment I stepped out of my taxi all staff members that I came in contact with were always polite, friendly and helpful. The staff wanted to assist in any way. The room was huge with everything you would need for a night or two. A great shuttle service to some of the attractions close by. Breakfast was amazing both morning. Would stay at this hotel again for sure.

    Good hotel with good facilities. The pool needed a clean but apart from that I would highly recommend this hotel. Close to Sandton mall and has a regular shuttle bus to get you to Nelson Mandala square.

    Very comfortable room, 500 metres from the Radisson Blu Gautrain Sandton Hotel (yes, there are 2 Radisson Blus at Sandton). The breakfast buffet has the biggest range that I have seen and everything I had was delicious.

    Location wise was great. Got upgraded room. Nice view from the window. Just that it was shocking when one of the staff was trying to open the door when we were still in the room. Eventhough, we said that we were still in our room. However, other than that everything was fine. Breakfast, not much option.

    Great hotel, but can be improved”

    Large Room, Seared Tuna Salad and Awesome location

    Radisson Blu is different from it's sister hotel Radisson Blu Gautrain. The reception is on L13 to check in/out and I had a great big room on L20 to help me wind down after 2 weeks worth of traveling from SA to Swaziland to Mozambique and back to Kruger National Park. The pool looked amazing on L8 but it was too cold for me to enjoy it. The hotel provides half-hourly shuttle service to office / shopping mall / train station which is very helpful for all hotel guests. The staff are very friendly! The Seared Tuna Salad available for dine in room service or at the restaurant, is a must-try!!! It's lovely! I will stay at Radisson Blu again!

    Very friendly staff, internet speed was good, great free shuttle service heading to and back from the mall every 30 mins, great breakfast with lots of fruit, nice to use the microwave and some dishes while enjoying a great view on the 8F outdoor poolside.

    Frontdesk manager very helpful. Rm service very poor, 98% no show. Had to go down for what I needed.”

    The hotel badly need upgrade. Business rooms are quite blah or common. The staff are not attentive. 99% of the time room service is a no show. I had to go downstairs myself. Water finished in room and called for water, it never came. Went to the desk to ask, female agent said it will be sent it, I am back in America & until today have not received the water. Breakfast was very good but customer service is what brings customers or drive them away.

    Musical lifts”

    The hotel was fairly central and had a regular courtesy bus to Mandela Square. The pool and sun deck were good and the breakfast was excellent. With the exception of the concierge who met us the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. We waited 10 mins + to be booked in despite only one other guest being there and staff present in reception.We asked the receptionist about local places of interest to visit in J’burg but she was a bit clueless. The lifts were a nightmare. Whilst I appreciate that it is probably for security no-one explained how they worked. I went to the Spa to use the pool but it was out of order. I tried numerous times to get a lift out of the Spa to no avail. There were a number of staff around doing nothing as the place was empty but no one came to my assistance. Eventually I asked and was pointed to a different lift and had to go up to 13 change lifts to get down to 8. At peak times you can wait 15 mins for a lift. No wonder they have chairs by the lift!

    This hotel has what it tskes to be amazing - spacious rooms, great facilities. It is let down by abismal service. It takes too long to check in / out and the "One Touch Service" button on the phone is a joke!

    only 1 counter open despite a long queue, there were several other staffs nearby seemingly idle and they don't care; more shockingly they gave us a room with someone else luggages lying there... In contrast, restaurant staffs are more helpful and attentive, location is convenient and room is clean.
