Rooms are clean. I really like the location of the hotel as it is located just beside a high-end mall. The basement of the mall has numerous restaurants with lots of delicious offerings, be it Thai, Japanese or Chinese (Shanghai) Food. Perfect location with equally stellar service”
We were in Shanghai for my Dad's 60th birthday and we stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel New World for 3 nights. We arrived late in the evening and were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade. Everything was swift and fuss free, porter was really polite. Hotel is clean and nicely provided for as you would expect from a 4/5 star hotel. What we could not get over was how convenient the location is! With old folks around, this has got to be the top priority - we could just get about to everywhere on the taxi and doesn't cost more than 18RMB each trip. The hotel is such a landmark too that there's no problem finding your way back. Considerate and polite staff all round - they delivered a cake to our room for my dad on his birthday, how sweet!

radisson blu hotel shanghai new world is conveniently linked to a shopping mall which is connected to a subway station. the location is absolutely worth the money. we get chocolates with each turndown service and newspapers in the morning which i really appreciate. the service by the front office and concierge staff is also commendable. last but not least, the proximity to the famous nanjing pedestrian street is a huge plus point. radisson blu hotel shanghai new world is a hotel i will recommend to any friend who is visiting shanghai.

i always loved radisson blu with its modern and elegant rooms facilities and amenities. this hotel is very close to the central area and other tourist spots. but shopping in shanghai is really expensive most are branded stuffs watches clothes bags jewelries. not for shopping but for leisure only . and the weather was cold during december but one jacket will do . reception was very helpful and room was clean bed was comfy nothing bad to say about the hotel. we came with 4 people in 2 rooms. the price is not that expensive and its big unlike other asian countires

Excellent location and cleanliness. But not so honest concierge staff”
We spent our New Year eve at Radisson blu New World shanghai. The location is excellent. Easy access to metro and some attractions. The room was clean and the housekeeping services were great. However, the concierge service wasnt too honest when we asked for a cab for my flight back to home country and misled us to book their van service which cost more and not on time. Overall, the hotel is excellent but only thing to improve is to be fair to clients on car booking. For other travellers' info, there were plenty of taxi waiting in front of the hotel.

Good offer on roomrates but seriously...”
Agoda offered a good rate for a double room at abt USD105 per night. The hotel room had everything We needed, facilities was good but the room assigned to us had a window looking right into a concrete wall. No view at all from our room on the 5th floor. Seriously, this is no way to treat any paying customer. The least Agoda and Radisson Blu could have done was to post a notification in the room info on Agoda's hotel website. Such a shame this has to be our memory of Radisson Blu New World when the rest of our hotel experience was excellent.

Location, location, location :)”
My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel. We loved the fact that we could just walk out the door and transport was right there to take you anywhere - taxis and subway. People's Square is a lovely spot to just sit and watch the world go by for a couple of hours, and the walking street close by is great for a walk at night when it's all lit up. A drink at the bar above the revolving restaurant at the hotel is worth the experience for the views and entertainment (band). The rooms here were lovely - we got a business room because it included breakfast - it was very spacious and clean. Breakfast included a nice variety of food. Overall, we were very happy with our stay here.

The Radisson Blu Hotel is a great reasonably priced and appointed place to stay in Shanghai if you want to be near to all of the action, shopping and peacefulness of The People's Park, but still close to the spectacle of The Bund. The view from the Bar on the 47th floor is amazing, day or night.

Fantastic staff”
We stayed at the Radisson Blu One World for my son's wedding in Shanghai. The airline had lost our luggage with all our wedding attire in it. The concierge John and Ronnie went above and beyond to salvage this disaster. They loaned my husband a pair of black shoes for the wedding, found a tailor who could sew a suit and dress in one day, and even volunteered to go personally to pick up the luggage at the airport when it finally arrived at midnight. They were all so accommodating and went out of their way to help us out. Cannot say enough how much we appreciated their service! Phenomenal!

I have stayed here before but I haven't been back to Shanghai in a long time. The hotel has a fantastic location and easy to find. All the staff were courteous, friendly, helpful and spoke English well. I had a problem with my Agoda booking as it was in another name but close to mine but I am glad I called before I arrived to check. A friend cleared it all up for me and I was greatful to her and the hotel for being professional and accommodating. My room was clean and everything in it was we suited and high quality. The bed was comfortable and everything else couldn't have been better. This was one of my best stays in a hotel and I cannot recommend the Radisson Blu enough.

Best Location Hotel in Shanghai”
Radisson Blu is located near the Nanjing Road Pedestrian. Take a metro and go down at People's Square, take exit 8 and you will see the hotel across the street. You only need to walk about 5 minutes to reach Nanjing Road Pedestrian. There's many mall and places to eat around it. The right decision to stay while in Shanghai.

Good location, ok condition, but old Hotel”
Staying at the Radisson Blu Shanghai New World can be recommended - very good value for money. Although the hotel is quite old and some facilities definitely need an update (the top floor bar, the spa), the rest is nicely maintained. Specifically the hotel is located at the entry of Nanjing Road, which is the main shopping street of Shanghai. Also the hotel offers free WiFi everywhere at an ok speed, including Facebook and Google access, which is otherwise blocked in China. In general, Internet in China is really slow. The skyline view is great!

we had a pleasant stay in radisson blu shanghai. hotel pick-up was on time and their vehicles new. check-in and out was fast. the cake shop on the ground floor had a really good pie, at least, the one we ordered. we were not wanting in amenities. the location is excellent. everything we needed is within reach.

Best Location”
If travelling by Metro is your mode of transportation, shopping and a visit to The Bund is your plan, then this is the hotel to stay. Metro station is just 50m outside the main entrance across the road on the left. There has multiple Metro lines and an underground tunnel leading to the shopping street of Nanjing East Road. At the end of this street is the famous Shanghai Bund. Line 8 will lead you the the China Art Museum and Shanghai World Expo & Exhibition Convention Centre (SWEECC). About 100m to the right of the hotel' entrance is Metro line 2 which will bring you to Pudong Int'l Airport.

Great location,centrally located,across subway ”
My stay in Radisson New World was great because the location was perfect. It was only walking distance to the famous Bund, and beside the hotel is a shopping center, and different stores and food establishments. There is even a cinema a block away. To top it off, across the street is a subway station (People’s square) which is also a central station. So it is easy to travel to different tourist attractions. The room is also very nice and clean, with bathtub and very nice view of the city. (I got the 30+floor room). The staff were also very nice to upgrade my room to Deluxe. Just remember to trun on the “Do not disturb” button inside the room, otherwise the staff will keep on knocking on your door to check refrigerator stock, and other things. One other thing that really disappointed me is the business center which provided computer/internet access at RMB35 per 15 minutes. That’s RMB140 per hour. That would’ve been ok if the internet speed is good, but it was very slow.

Stopover in Radisson Blu Hotel was awesome Start in our Europe Holiday. Had only a few Days but saw lots of things in Shanghai. Location is perfect for Shopping, sightseeing or going out for Dinner (but Hotel Restaurants are stunning). Loved the Sauna and Pool.

the hotel is in a great location with close proximity to the underground subway system and restaurants. we checked in very quickly and were upgraded to a higher floor and a larger room at no extra charge. if you get a room on one of the higher floors you will be able to use the express elevators reserved for the upper floors only which is a nice added feature. the gym was one of the best equipped gyms that i have ever used at a hotel along with the steam room, sauna, hot tub and pool. i would definitely stay at the radisson blu again.
