Stately House that lost it,s crown
Revisiting the once refined ambient hotel was a disappointing experience. The garden view rooms acceptably traditional but not 5* in any way. The main restaurant la Taverna was a complete fiasco with banal processed fare proffered as Italian cuisine. Dull tasteless breakfast correlated the experience and the charmless, décor complete with shiny fake Doric pillars revealed all the signs of a floundering outfit.

Sensational Hotel
Gardens, Facilities, Restaurant, Staff Attentiveness
A touch away from the centre of Dublin, but what a perfect place to get away from it all. Truly a mansion with huge gardens that invite strolling, reading, relaxing. The grounds are complemented with an old - fashioned restaurant with its own interior garden, unbelievably attentive and friendly staff, very large rooms with outstanding appointments

Gardens were amazing they would be beautiful n de summer months
We stayed at the hotel for a mid week break, the setting of the hotel was beautiful. We arrived in the hotel and the beauty of it just took our breath away. The rooms were beautiful, really spacious, with queen beds, the beds were so comfortable. Highly recommed the hotel for a break away. Located close to city centre
