Excellent customer service”
We stayed at the Raffles on our trip to Siam Reap in February. It's a great property, old world charm, nice rooms. We had an issue with the air-conditioning in our room, it didn't work all night and the staff in the night were not able to fix it. However, they moved us to another room in the middle of the night. The General Manager of the hotel met us the next day and refunded us one night's charge. Excellent service and super service recovery as well. I would recommend this hotel any day.

Not the cheapest option and about 1.2KM from the centre of Siem Reap but there was nothing the staff would not do to make our stay stress free. Wonderful experience!!

Fantastic 5 star service, Fabulous rooms. Wonderful bar and restaurant options. Immaculate colonial decor and amenities with all modern service options. Sensational breakfast. 5 star prices expected; however, US$5 for a can of Angkor beer from the mini bar somewhat excessive. Bathrooms lack easy access to shower for mobility impaired (was no issue for us)

Magnificent hotel”
Staff were extremely helpful & everything was 5 star all the way. We only had one night & arrived early morning (0830) & they organised a car (BMW) with driver from the hotel & an official tour guide ready to take us half an hour after arriving & they had our room ready even though official check in time is not until 1400. We were able to see Angkor Wat and two other temples comfortably within the one day. It was fantastic. Car with driver USD$131 & tour guide USD$50 all added to the hotel bill. There are cheaper ways to see Siem Reap but with the time limit we had, this was perfect & very affordable.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel......”
Location is quite ok. Bar area is very nice and pleasant staff serving guests . Housekeeping did a wonderful job. All that said, this is a Raffles property and this comes with certain expectations. This old Grand Dame needs something. Staff were friendly but that something extra you expect from a Raffles staff member was missing. The Driver on the other hand was what one would expect from Raffles. Attentive, polite always with a smile anticipating the needs of his guests. The new limousines are in keeping with what one would expect from a Raffles property. Sadly, the old limousines and I am not speaking vintage here should have been retired years ago. With all due respect, I will not be choosing Raffles as my hotel upon my return to Siem Reap.

Far gone are her days of glory. Management need to invest back into the property, it is a bit run down and they know it. 4 star is a reach at this point.

A colonial style hotel with modern conveniences and excellent service. The staff was professional, courteous, discreet and friendly. They helped organise transport, tours and guides and it all ran with military precision! We had a great time and we would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for an oasis in Siem Reap. Hotel pinches from guests, please recheck you room-bar bill”
Great Hotel , i have heard of guests pinching from hotel but this hotel pinches from guests i received bill for items i did not use in the room bar, luckily i checked and asked for details, it turned i was billed for Cambodian beer, i am not a fan of beer. They rectified it gracefully. The front desk is manned by Mrs T, she is unhappy with guest booking through travel sites and quite open about, and she expresses her disdain for such travelers as the published tariff is much higher. there is no question of late checkout for such travelers even though the hotel is always 98% empty,She obviously is just more than what appears, the breakfast buffet also is prepared by only a spoonful of everything. do not expect to have a second serving if you like anything there.

We stayed at the Raffles for one week and had excellent service. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The Colonial style was very nice. We had a great experience at the hotel and found the staff extremely helpful. We would recommend the hotel.

We checked in following a online booking on agoda. The booking showed a room with a lounge which turned out to be not correct. We sought at the very best room and prepared to pay for it. The Raffles were very accommodating and added US$300 per night on top of the agoda rate. So that about US$600 per night. That room 1318 is normally over US$1,300 per night at best so Raffles looked after us very well. We asked for a personal car and driver, no issue fantastic. Can you picture my wife whom is a CCTV personality arriving at the gates of Angkor Wat driver in a cap with white gloves, just perfect. The room was very comfortable facing right onto the pool. I really loved the pool and whole atmosphere of the property. Dinner in the fine dining was low cost and the food really good. Yhe breakfast has only one issue, they don't know how to cook eggs, way overcooked and took over one morning to do my own. Following this visit we will refer our client and friend and I will come back.
