I guess this stay is closest to the Pier of the lake. You can walk there (little hike) or take the lift (local people are helpful and kind) if you do not have your own vehicle like me. Facilities are decent. Views and vibes in the middle of mountains are an experience. The owner picked me from the nearby 7-eleven (the last point where bus/van drops if coming from Surat Thani station or town) at the time of arrival. I found two packs of noodles and few bottles of cold drinks in the refrigerator. Unfortunately I am vegetarian so could not have those shrimp noodles and I do not consume cold-drinks. There were coffee and Milo packets for me. I appreciate the efforts made by the owner and staff for providing the guests.
We stayed at this place for a night before traveling to Khao Sok national park. It was great for the price, however in our original room there was a very large spider above the bed and ants in the bathroom. We are staying in the mountains so I understand how bugs are more normal out there but it was scary to sleep under. The hotel staff was very accommodating and moved us to another room for no charge at about 10pm. So this solved all of our problems. The property was pretty and was located nearby a delicious restaurant.

I had a fantastic time staying at Rai Eingpu. The place is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for anyone looking to relax away from the city. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable I especially enjoyed the quiet mornings and fresh air—it truly felt like a retreat. Highly recommend this place for travelers who appreciate calm, natural surroundings and warm hospitality.
