Value for money”
Value for money. This is the cheapest room I can get from Agoda but the drink and food are expensive compared to the town area. The one day jungle trek at this guest house costs me IDR900,000 and after I did the trek, someone offer me the same trek for IDR500,000. I am not sure what is the correct price but it left me with a sour taste. To be fair the bed is clean and comfortable. By the way, there is always a guitar session going on every nite so you either love or hate.

nice rooms for the price, staff could be more friendly”
Big hostel with quite good restaurant and a chill out place at the river. Staff is a bit unhelpful (couldn't tell me if here would be a room free the day after tomorrow although I asked three different people; guess that was because I didn't booked a tour with them but with another hotel) and sometimes annoying (want to talk to you all the time). In the evening electricity was gone several times but I guess that was in the whole village. Overall the place is nice and very cheap!!

Brilliant”
Big spacious room, comfortable matress, private bathroom and a fan. The staff was so warm and helpful; the restaurant of the guesthouse was simply delicious and cheap. Loved it!! Absolutely perfect

Great value, lovely staff”
Cleanliness, food, staff, view
As soon as I booked a room at Rain Forest the staff got in contact with us by email trying to advise us on how to get there. They picked us up at the bus station and took us to their guesthouse. They even helped us with the big backpacks. We booked a double room that comes with a fan, a mosquito net and an attached bathroom with cold shower and western toilette. They have a garden where you can sit and relax. They also run a restaurant and serve delicious local and western food at reasonable prices. We also booked a half day trekking tour with them (25$/person). Great value for the price!

good value for very little money”
a friendly and supportive team, inexpensive, good food
Early in the morning the monkeys (macacas) made a lot of noise on the rooftop, on New Year weekend a lot of local guests were at Bukit Lawang so it was crowded and noisy too. Don't expect any comfort and and too much cleanliness in the room (it is a zero stars Guest House). But you can expect friendly and supportive stuff members.
