Cute bungalow, cheap for what you get!”

+cheap for what you get, had the standard bungalow +great location and surroundings, 10 min walk to nightmarket +not so much noise from traffic/party at night +own hammock outside the bungalow - roaches in bath/bedroom. only saw like 3 in one week though so it wasn't a problem for me - warm water in the shower didn't work

      A super cosy house/hut”

We loved staying here, it felt almost like in childhood's countryside house :) The design of the hut and a cosy yard, a pond were lovely to be around. The only thing that would be great to have is filtered water so we wouldn't have to buy bottled water.

      Lovely bungalow”

We had a great stay at Rainbow House. The bungalow was spacious and clean with a mosquito net and fan. The washroom was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the grounds are lovely and well kept. It was very affordable and we loved our stay!

      Pai countryside”

Far enough outside of town but only a 10 minute walk to the night market street. Close to Fluid swimming pool. Rooster crows loudly each morning. Lovely couple run the place. All very basic but clean and sufficient.

      Bungalow life close to pool”

Loved the little bamboo bungalows. Cool nights, hot days. Didn’t need fan to sleep. Clean but very basic amenities. Curteous and helpful owner-operators. Quiet out here in the countryside — except for roosters every morning lol...

      adorable”

cute little bungalows in a nice area, easy 10 minute walk to town center, (renting a scooter in pai is the best! "vespai" is the company to get one from for sure!) super nice couple run these bungalows and are always around to help out, if you have any questions or anything. It's just a sweet little place, beds are uncomfortable as most places in Southeast Asia so far but still had an amazing sleep there, couldn't wake up early for the life of me because the place was just so cozy , and the fan was totally enough AC not needed. Would stay here again for sure!

      Stunning bungalows with serene view”

Beautiful spot perfectly located a 10 minute stroll from the main pai area and near some of the fun “out of town” backpackers. Rooms were clean and comfortable, however guests neighbouring bungalows can hear each other perfectly. Wasn’t a problem for me, but request one of the brick and mortar rooms if this would be a problem for you.

Quiet place, best value for money for Bungalow with Private Bath”

We stayed for a week ( Yes we got stick in the Pai-Hole) after re-booking two nights more, than two nights again.. 7 days later this is the best value for your money. We stayed in guesthouse #2 (private bathroom). There is a double bed and a fan along with three locking windows. The location was ideal for us (two 30's something Americans) because it is about a half mile out of the town's main bar street. Just far enough from the bass, yet close enough to walk back and forth two or three times a day without feeling too far. We enjoyed the community on the east side of the river hidden from the bar scene. There is a cheap place with a swimming pool named Fluid (80 baht) right around the corner, Close to the White Buddha, vegan cafe Earth Tone, as well as two locations close by to purchase "Happy off menu Products" at Backpacker's Paradise and Sunset Bar. The rooms are basic, as one would expect from a bungalow, the only con is that the bed was extremely squeeky with age-old spring rigging that made moving around a bit loud for my partner and probably folks in the next bungalow over. Thankfully our neighbors were quiet accept for the last two nights when some younger, louder folks decided to stay up and be loud/obnoxious. If you are looking to meet people, stay at Backpacker's Paradise. The hot water functions only at lower pressure, it is a 10 year old water heating element, so there's lower the pressure, the longer the water stays in the element and hotter it will become. Most people have it on full blast and complain that the water heater doesn't work, well, that's because the water isn't in the heater long enough.. a fine balance between pressure and temp and you'll figure it out. The host, Noi and his wife keep there facility super clean and live in their awesome private house. As a previous review suggests, it feels a bit looked living in a Smurf Village - which is true and awesome. Each bungalow has a covered hammock outside. They sell cheap beers, water,

Super cute spot and walking distance from town!”

I loved my stay at Rainbow House! The room felt clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathrooms are outdoors so don't expect them to be anything fancy, but they do the job. I didn't have much interaction with the staff so I can't say much about them but I had everything I needed and felt well taken care of. Short walk into town too!

      Chalet room”

The room was quite basic and lighting quite poor. Bed was comfortable but a shared basic toilet & shower was a short walk away. Should be fine for backpackers looking to save money. About a 10 minute walk to town centre was ok, but you had to be careful on the road when night came.

Very small bungalow, paper walls ”

This is a truly transparent bungalow, it is tiny, light pass through the walls. Bed is okay, old towels, but here is a mosquito net, ( complicates getting into bed). It is extremely basic, nothing extra. Yet the tense owner lady asked me to wait at checkout to see if I left everything alright.. duh ??

very nice hostel and excellent location, less than 10 minutes walk to the centre. I took a bungalow, it was big enough and cosy. The staff was helpful and friendly. though if you are a solo traveller it's not the best place to meet people, some other bungalows have a chilling common area which is perfect for meeting people.

      Exactly what we paid for”

We enjoyed our stay here as it is a nice place to lounge. We had the private bathroom bungalow next to the pond and loved our own hammock and lounge area outside overlooking the fish filled pond. Basic bungalow with no frills but the price reflects that. Staff are very nice as well. Less than 10 minute walk to town but most people rent a moped in Pai anyway.

Nice stay in a serene landscape”

nice surroundings, very fast internet, cheap

I was in Pai for about two days and it was a really pleasant stay. The bungalows are clean, neat and cheap. The internet is among the fastest I've seen in Thailand and the hosts are really nice. Even the shared bathroom is well kept and the quiet surroundings help you relax after a day of hiking and sightseeing. Even though it's a 12 mins walk from the center of the town, this does help, especially if you wanna get a good night sleep - the Center of Pai is a party place. Totally recommended!
