I love el nido”
relaxing place to stay as you can hear from your room the sound of the waves. if you love the sea, this is the perfect place for you-- the seashore is just below the step of the balcony. perfect sea panorama since the hotel is in the center of the clam-shaped el nido beach. my room is very clean..... but still, i'll give el nido waterfront hotel a score of perfect 10

centrally located and great service”
i liked our stay at the rainforest beach hotel because it is centrally located and it is a beachfront hotel. the service was great and fast! there were nearby restaurants to choose from so, you are not limited to just one place to eat. my only concern was that their bathrooms are not appealing. they should at least put a wall to separate the toilet and shower.

Great beach hotel”
Had a great stay here for a week in the beginning of March. Which would be around the best time to visit Southeast Asia in general. Excellent location from which to explore el nido as a whole. The view from some of the rooms and hotel lobby is absolutely stunning, with mesmerizing green water and mountain combination. All I could say is wow when I walked up to the checkin. The staff is really friendly. I recommend leaving a nice tip after your first day for the cleaning crew. The room standards aren't quite what you would expect as it is very basic(coming from US, East Asia, or Europe) but that is not why you stay here. It's for the beachfront, personally thought it was the best on the bay; cordoned off swimming area right at the center of a very clean stretch of beach. The street is right behind to grab a ride to other beaches or destinations via tricycle.

Good location on El Nido beach”
Rainforest beach hotel is beachfront right in the middle. It has a beautiful view of the water. The rooms are clean and bed is comfy. The prices for accommodations are expensive in El Nido especially for the quality of the hotels. We were satisfied with our stay; however, we won't be returning.

Excellent location, go for the jacuzzi beach room ”
We stayed at the beach front jacuzzi room and the view is just breathtaking, you can hear the sea waves laying in bed! There is no food services at the hotel but there are many restaurants and bars along the beach (Pucca Reggae bar is nice) I would also recommend staying at rooms 201,202 and 203. The other rooms are quite standard compared to these room numbers. You could arrange Island hopping tours from the hotel and van services to puerto princesa (although we flew directly to El Nido, just a tricycle ride away). It is a family run hotel so expect people feeling at home upon arrival. I would go back again! :)

Helpful staffs, astounding views from balcony”
The hotel was okay, room is nice & clean. The hotel is in the centre of El Nido so lots of things to do! Near to the travel & tours for your tours ( Tour A & Tour C are the best) & diving centres! However, we found this hotel way over priced for 1,800 PHP for a night. We travelled from Dec 31- Jan 4 at El Nido & stayed here. They don't serve breakfast or any foods only some instant refreshments.

10 steps away from the beach/water”
Great location - our room opened up to a veranda that offered a spectacular view and was just a few (10) steps to the beach. Close to restaurants/bars. Excellent, very helpful, friendly and cheerful staff. They took our bags to our rooms while we were still checking in and they didn't hang around for tips like you would expect at other places. (We still tipped them but it was refreshing to see genuinely helpful people.) One of the guys on the staffwho was off duty was the one who pointed out the sea turtles (about 30 inches across) which, for some reason, came close to the front of this hotel (maybe the lights) more than any other. He even stayed around for a while to tell us about El Nido. And it was no sales pitch - refreshing and appreciated.

Nice”
People always expect too much from El Nido! I stayed in 3 different hotels on my resent trip and definetely this was the best from the 3 accommodations. Beds are good, A/C and electricity all day, ONE OF THE BEST WIFI's around and the family that runs it is lovely, they even allowed me to keep the room until 7 pm

right on the beach”
pretty good value considering all the el nido hotels were booked out. luckily we had booked through agoda before we arrived as they were turning people away. fairly basic but clean rooms, unlimited free coffee and tea and nice friendly owners who arranged day trips and kept plenty of cold beer

Premium location for the price”
Pleasant, relaxing. The nicest people in the world are from the Philippines, some of them are at rainforest. I did not need any assistance and none was forced upon me. For this I was quite pleased. If you are someone who requires to be waited on and catered to, this may not be for you. But for me it was on the water, right in the middle of the beach, away from the noisy craziness and with a fantastic porch.

very centrally located and beach access”
when we arrived our booked room was not available after calling early the morning to confirm. We had to stay in a room of lower standards. The next day we transfer to our Jacuzzi room. This is apparently not the first time it has happened according to other reviews of this hotel on Agoda. the hotel is right on the beach and very well located close to restaurants and shops. The only other thing that was not very nice is that the manager and his family smokes in the hotel and lobby/breakfast area.

good hotel small rooms”
the hotel located in a very nice location, center of the city has a private beach - the staff are very usefull and helfull the rooms are very noise and small, you can find better options in el nido almost at the same price

Nice location by the beach, but over-priced”
The location by the beach is really nice. It wasn't the cheapest one, so we had higher expectations than what the hotel offered. The staff was not very friendly and after we mentioned about the cleaning of the room, they started to ignore us. There was mentioned a "daily schedule" for cleaning and changing the sheets every second day. After we had stayed for 2 nights, there had been no cleaning and not even clean towels. I nicely asked the staff to clean our room, which was done. The room was "Deluxe for Family", but it was really small and the after they put the extra bed, there was not room to move around. Note that the hotel doesn't have electricity from 6 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. This is normal in El Nido, but Rainforest doesn't have the generator to provide electricity during that time. The hotel could be really nice with a few changes to cleanness, staff attitude and pricing. Cannot really recommend this...

Rainforest beach Hotel ”
My stay was ok. I'm not the kind of guy who usually complains but it has to be said. I had to book a deluxe room as they didn't have standard rooms anymore. The room was definitely better but $60 a night! Come on! Moreover, I asked to clean my room 4 times. I asked at 9am the first time, the staff was making the room in front of mine. 2pm they had not done it yet and were cleaning the room downstairs. I think it was on purpose. Anyway, The staff is not really friendly except Ronaldo who is very nice. No breakfast included for the price. Overall, pleasant stay at el nido because it's really amazing over there and I was not often in my room. Rooms are a way too expensive, so I don't know if I would stay there again. I met many people with cool rooms for much cheaper.

Great Service With A Friendly Smile”
From the moment we stepped of our flight and approached the Waterfront Resort booth it was service - service - service. My wife and I could have walked the short distance to our hotel however seeing we had the opportunity to avail ourselves of a limosine servie we took it up. Limo took us to hotel door and we checked in.what servie. The room was superb, although would have like some better views as apposed to looking on roofing, however that aside very happy with our stay. We look forward on returning and staying here again one day.

Beautiful El Nido, disappointing hotel”
Was not worth the price. Thought it might be a risk with the previous reviews but the spa room reviews seemed to be ok. First room smelt like a sewer so asked to be changed which wasn't a problem, seemed better and the view was awesome until we settled down to sleep and what felt like bed bugs bites in the morning. Sheets got changed which made it feel better so not sure if they hadn't been changed and they didn't bother as we had asked to change rooms? Spa only got used once as the water in el nido is yellow and smells kinda funny so not worth the extra money there either. My suggestion is to stay somewhere else as they are all on the beachfront and have awesome views.

Clean and Comfortable”
I really loved this hotel. We had a jacuzzi beachfront room. Unfortunately we never used the jacuzzi, but the view was amazing. The location was perfect and the staff are very friendly. The room was really clean and comfortable. We didn't even need to use our silk sleepers, since the bed was so clean with nice sheets. Since I was traveling with my 9 year old daughter, it was a relief that they had good cable channels and good wifi. I would definitely stay here again.

We only stayed for 1 night, the room is ok.”
My husband and I stayed for 1 night and we left early in the morning to catch the 7AM trip going to Puerto Princesa. In this hotel, breakfast is not being served for as early as 6AM but we were able to buy snacks in their mini-store. Like most hotels in El Nido, there was no electricity until 2PM.

Nice location, decent value”
*Staff were helpful in letting me reschedule last minute because of a typhoon. *The room I stayed in was very small with no view and had a spider as big as my hand on the wall when I checked in. *They had the 2nd floor under construction which (I presume) were going to be the nicer rooms. *The bedding smelled like mildew but that is kinda typical because of the humidity. *The power in El Nido (the entire town!) goes off at about 2-5am in the morning and doesn't come back on until 5pm. If this is a problem find a resort that has their own generators.

Very poor customer service.”
Our stay here had several issues that can be summed up simply: abysmal customer service. We booked 2 nights in the beachfront room w/jacuzzi, and on arrival learned that the room was double booked for the 2nd night. The manager moved us to a "deluxe" room for our 2nd night and only offered to refund the price difference between the two rooms as he casually puffed on his cigarette behind the front desk. No attention was paid to the fact that this was a very disappointing "solution" to the problem. They did not care about the inconvenience of moving rooms early in the morning, and they could not fathom how we could be disappointed with such a downgrade. Despite sitting on a couch in the lobby, the owner refused to talk to me directly on the first day. Eventually, after much deliberating, they agreed to offer a small discount. These people have a hotel in a good location, but they have no idea what it means to work in the customer service industry. Oh, and the jacuzzi was useless since the hot water lines aren't connected to the jacuzzis. They are only there for show. Consider El Nido Beach Hotel instead. Cheaper, quieter, similar views & location, and a much more professional staff.
