Lovely little cabins a bit worn down but they are old and what do you expect for the price
Really enjoyed our stay here at the weekend - cabins are a bit old but expected- only a 20 minute drive from montville and there is a courtesy bus to Nambour Rsl which reception arranged for us- overall pleasant stay and would stay again- make sure you say hi and bye to the white bird as you walk in- he doesn't like being ignored

great for short term
This is not suitable for people who have high expectations. Backpackers, budget conscience, campers, lower star type people would appreciate Rainforest Holiday Village. My hubby and I enjoyed our stay. Its run down but clean and has all the essential requirements. The lady who checked us in out was pleasant and friendly. Its a place to stay if you have a vehicle and looking for reasonably priced, comfortable short stays to visit surrounding area i.e. Montville, Big Pineapple, Melaney etc.

I was not here long enough to comment too much. I arrived after 8pm and left by 6am. The staff were accommodating with leaving me a .key and directions to my unit.

Dirty and run-down. Extremely disappointed
I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. We stayed in a cabin. It was disgusting! Lots of cockroaches. The floor was sticky and the perimeter of the entire cabin was dirty with bug droppings. All furniture and furnishings were old, grubby and very worn. The mattress on the main bed was sunken in the middle. The bed duvet had holes in it. The cabin was in such obvious poor condition that my 6 year old son begged us to take him somewhere cleaner... I also hated that the park held many birds - parrots, cockatoos, rainbow lorikeets and even silky bantam hens - in small cages throughout the park. I don't agree with caging animals :(

Chalet in a Campervan park
Quiet and cosy
Our room is like a small chalet, not big but good enough for 2 person. There's also a simple kitchenette with pots and pans, plates, utensils etc. Furnitures are old, aircon is not working well but they provide an extra heater during our stay as it was winter. Hot water in the shower is also great. It is actually a caravan site so there's other campers too but everyone are very quiet. :)

Short Stay
Room size. Shower and hot water.
Our stay was ok. The room was a good size. Had a full sized fridge, cutlery, plates and saucepans supplied. On the negative side the bed was to hard, floor was tiled and there wasn't any rugs on the floor, which when staying in winter makes for a cold stay. The lounge/futon wasn't very sturdy. A small heater is provided but it wasn't big enough to heat the entire room.

Villas need to be upgraded
Proximity to town centre, quiet village
The villa had blinds that did not fully cover the windows and a toilet that was continually noisy. Villas need to be upgraded.
