Excellently located property, staffs need to be a bit more polished in profession. Entrance gate to be managed better, especially the errant 2 wheelers placed at entry point in evening time. Rest is good, only 1 (minus) point that Refrigerator / Electric kettle was not present in our family Quad room #107 as to what was mentioned in booking detail. Also to mention that the attached Restaurant was also very good & reasonable..

Worst hotel ever!!!”
Very unclean to say the least, the bed had bed bugs, what more can I say. I expect a hotel which charges INR 6000 per night to be at least clean. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there. Horrible experience!!!!

Very good hotel for the price. In-house restaurant has decent food. Location is 4 blocks from Beach Street and most scenic spots are in 1 km walking distance. Needs more cleanliness and has cockroach problem.

no hot water facility. beds are all single beds and stuck together to make it double bed. two quilts provided for each person instead of a double bed size quilt not ideal if you are travelling as a couple.

Not great experience to describe. Some shortfalls; 1. No parking for vehicles.I am not sure if this is the norm in Pondy 2. We had elders in family and the family room is on 3rd floor without elevators! 3. The rooms seemed to be a make shift arrangement on the top floor with very low ceiling. The room was without curtains and the lights from the corridor used to disturb your sleep! 4. No running hot water. The hotel staff didn't bother to inform us about this and got 4 bucket of hot water supplied for the entire family. You feel pity for the staff who has to climb up and down 3 floors and hence avoided requesting them any help. 5. Lots of noise from the kitchen on the ground floor could be heard in the rooms on 3rd floor! I was told that they were newly open for business and with time they may improve.

We are located in Heritage town area which is very close to beach and a very safe area for parking cars 2. Rooms have been refurbished than the time you visited 3. hot water issue has been resolved with additional heaters that can be used during rainy season Welcome you again to Raj classic Inn. L'emplacement est bon, mais vu le prix, la chambre n'est clairement pas a la hauteur : la tuyauterie est vetuste (fuites, peu ou pas d'eau chaude), la proprete dans la salle de bain laisse a desirer. Le reste est ok, mais c'est tout de meme tres cher pour ce que c'est (preferer une bonne guest house, ce sera moins cher, avec les memes prestations).

Aprés avoir booké le matin même une chambre pour 4 personnes (la derniere disponible), la premiere chambre (1ere nuit) fournie n'avait pas d'eau chaude et donnait sur les cuisines. La 2eme chambre (2eme nuit) donnait également sur les cuisines. A part le bruit et quelquers cafards, rien à dire. Sous une fausse raison de clim à réparer dans les étages supérieurs, la Direction de l'hotel nous demande de changer de chambre une 3eme fois, avec le même standing, et ceci à 18 heures. Il s'avére alors que nous sommes transférés dans une petite chambre de 2 places, et aprés fortes reclamations, la Direction nous rembourse 2000INR.
