Plus That is quite close to the center. KhaoSan Road is about 15 min walk. Cons It is not so clean. We have been acomodated in cheaper and much better places in Bangkok.

Great location, friendster staff”
We loved the Rajata hotel. The hotel is centraly located and close to most major sights in the old town of Bangkok. Rooms are, spacious, clean and quiet. Staff is very friendly. Rooms also have a minibar. The only negative point that we also want to share is that the beds are really hard. All other things were great, but a bit softer matrasses would have made us happier.

Great location”
Very basic, but clean and friendly staff. Walking distance to Khaosan Road where the fun night life is. It is safe to walk back to hotel even after midnight. It is a good idea to request hotel to pick you up at Airport. It is reasonable fees and reduce the hassle of asking at the airport. I stay ther for 3 nights and it is a good stay.

Good Location and Nice Staff”
We stayed 3 nights at the hotel, we were surprised how good it was. It was very quite and located in a nice backyard with a lot of plants but also near to the Center of Bangkok. Lots of Restaurants and Shops on the street. Breakfast was not included but the staff was very friendly and we felt comfortable on our stay.

Great value for money - Clean and very central”
The rooms are quaint but clean. Its isn't too much of a shock when you get to Bangkok and might expect a crummy backpacker hotel. I would recommend this anytime for a short to medium term stay. The staff are nice and helpful. I recommend going to Pop world next door for breakfast where the owner, Pop, is the sweetest lady. She will cook, sort tickets out for you on trains and boats to get to the islands and even do laundry. Plus she's a laugh !!

bangkok for a couple of nights”
We stayed here 3 times on our times in and out of Bangkok. The location was good - only 10 minutes to nightlife (walking) and was in a safe area. Internet is good, rooms large and clean, though the beds are very firm (ok though). We didn't try the restaurant

Good quiet location”
We enjoyed the outdoor seating area for breakfast or socializing. Easy to relax in that area or in the newly remodeled rooms with pleasing color choices. It's near the Khao San Road area but far enough away to not feel a part of that particular energy. The best massages I have ever received in BKK are at the place next to the hotel. I would always go there if in that area in need of a massage. Recommend in highly.

Not too bad”
This hotel is near to Khao San road, and that area of Bangkok. So, it's convenient and not too expensive if you want to visit that part of town for a couple days. The hotel is quiet, I don't remember them having any breakfast, and the room had mosquitoes and was very dusty/moldy, which gave me severe allergies, I was up half the night sneezing. Beside that, it wasn't too bad. I would probably try for a different hotel in the same price range before I went back.

Quiet area amongst madness!! ”
When we first arrived I was a little set back, as this is more American motel style rather than hotel. However, I came to realise this was a friendly hotel in a peaceful area in Bangkok. We booked a double but got two single beds (didn't bother us because we just pushed the beds together) our room was never cleaned in the 4 nights we stayed here and the bathroom area is very off putting. However once spending a day in Bangkok, we realised that if you want to stay in the khoasan/grand palace area on a budget this was probably one of the best places to stay. Bar and eating area nice and relaxing. Also if travelling with children the hotel staff love them!! P.sdont stay in Bangkok for longer than 3 days, you don't need to if just visiting this area!!

Great central location and beautiful "gardens"”
Loved our stay here. Be prepared to sleep on a VERY hard bed though and the bathroom leaves A LOT to be desired. If they spent as much time on cleaning the bathrooms as they did watering the pot plants the bathrooms would be immaculate. Wifi is only in public area and mozzies are bad also in these areas. The motel is old world though and a great place to stay in Bangkok due to its location. Great breakfast!!! Even better coffee!!

Good place to sleep near Kao San”
unfortunately most of the hotels near kao san rd are very noisy at night but this place is far enough away from the party scene to be very quiet and is only about 10 minutes walk from the action. very big well decorated pleasant room.
