We are so happy with Rakuten ”
Rakuten Stay is VERY near the Dekijima train station, making it so convenient to go to Osaka and transfer to other train lines. The family room was spacious having 4 double sized beds plus a sofa bed and an extra mattress. Our room also had a kitchen, making us save a lot on food since we cooked our own breakfast and lunch (there are 2 Grocery stores nearby by the way so we could easily buy ingredients). Another thing: our room had a washing machine PLUS a bathroom that converts to a dryer room, allowing us clean dry clothes for the next day during the winter! Minor cons, There are no onsite staff so cleaning was not done daily and our trash had accumulated for 5 days. Nonetheless, staff can be contacted via videoconference at the frontdesk or email, and they were very accommodating. Overall rating is 9/10! :)

Exceptional”
Extremely spacious. No cleaning services will be there until after check-out, but there's a washing machine and vacuum in the room itself. Apart from that, it also has a kitchen, a bathroom, and a separate toilet, a small balcony if you want to dry your clothes. Location is good as it is just a few minutes away from the nearest train station, has a Family Mart, Lawson, and local grocery store nearby, as well as a few eateries. (My family tried the Nepalese restaurant closeby, it was superb). Note that it is a bit far from the city centre, but this also means that the neighbourhood is a little more quieter and local-ish. One downside, in my opinion, would be the self check-in procedure. You would have to use the code in the email to access the hotel, then key in all the information of the travellers along with having your pictures taken (through the iPad). Then a staff would still have to video call you to verify your information and once again, see the face of each travellers.

Fun stay and comfortable!”
Checking in was funny like other reviewers said, but we did it without problem despite disconnected from operator half way and everyone had a good laugh haha. Smack right beside Dekijima Station which means getting around is easy! From the Dekijima to Nishikujō Station which you do most of the transfers to Universal-City station, Osaka loop lines etc. We went to Hiroshima, Kobe and even Tottori from here without problem! Surrounding was full of markets. convenience stores and eaters, lovely neighbourhood which was super quite at night. However, if you're light sleeper you may need to take note that you can hear the train passing by, for us it's ok. We stayed at 4th floor and the bed was fantastic! Highly recommended, if you don't mind extra 20mins so travel time, compared to staying in busy Namba area

Exceptional ”
Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. Like some reviews mentioned, it is not located in the city centre but everywhere is so easily accessible via Dekijima station, just next to the property. Everything is new & clean. Although it is in a quiet neighbourhood, the place is really safe. My teenager son jogged alone around the neighbourhood a few times at night. There is a supermarket right in front of the property. The prices in the supermarket are reasonable. As we are out most of the time, we only discovered on our last night that they sell halal meat there. If we go to Osaka again, we will without the slightest doubt will stay in this very new property.

Excellent place”
Really spacious, clean and pleasant apartment. Close to Dekijima station (Hanshin line) and bus stop (connect directly to Osaka station - 40min). Supermarket is just 3 min away. Some good food shops open until late night (okonomiyaki and sobayaki, Takoyaki...) One small minus point for location is that the Osaka Amazing pass 2 days cannot be used for Hanshin line. However, the daily pass is ok. I would recommend for family and friend group.

Best Stay in Osaka”
The place was just right next to Dekijima Station so going around Osaka was very convenient. There were convenient stores and restaurants around whenever we wish to have late snacks. Each room conveniently has a washing machine, microwave and ref where we store food during our stay. All in all it was an EXCELLENT stay and would definitely be staying here again when in Osaka.

Excellent stay in Osaka”
Best stay in Osaka. We have 5 adults and the RakutenSTAY provided everything and big space, very comfortable and clean beds, bathrooms. I could say the hotel is as good as 5stars hotel. There is a small car park charged 500yen/night just next to it and the train station is only 3mins walk. Everything is perfect and this is the best stay compare to other hotels during my 12days Japan trip.

Overall the stay was great, check in was smooth, room is big n clean, location is strategic near to dekijima station in hanshin line which not to far from big station like namba, neighborhood is strategically located near to convenience store, restaurant and supermarket. Staff is also helpful eventhou not speaking very good english, also help us to arrange taxi booking to airport. Overall this place is highly recomended

Really wonderful place! Good location. Only 8 stops from Namba station to this place. There are 2 supermarkets around, plus 2 Family marts and 1 Lawson! RakutenSTAY provided us almost every home stuffs, except an iron, hahaha. If I go back to Osaka, I will book this place again. Thank you!

3 Minutes walk to Dekijima station and 15 minutes by train to Dotonbori. The room was very spacious, with all amenities present including cooking and washing clothes. Everything was clean and great. Will stay here again. :)

Better than Hotel”
The room is very spacious and almost every household stuffs are provided except for iron, very near to the train station, one thing that we had a little bit of problem is the check-out time was different from the booking site, we found out that check out time is one hour earlier than the one written in their front desk tablet so, we had to rush checking out. I called the staff if we could extend but my request was not granted. I will still recommend this place to friends and family. If we will go back to Osaka, we will book this place again.
