Nice Hotel with a Smile”
I like it here. The place is in the Koreatown area, and near by the Wilshire Boulevard, a very long street that has everything. The room is big, clean and the bed is lovely. I will come here again next time I go to Los Angeles.
Ramada Inn Wilshire - Los Angeles”
I enjoyed my stay at the Ramada Inn very much and would certainly stay here again (in fact I am doing just that in a few days). I am dependent on public transportation and so for me a great advantage of this hotel is its central location on Wilshire Blvd, Korea Town, one block from the purple line subway. The latter will take you downtown to shops/museums/restaurants, and from Union Station you can take a train to Pasadena. Alternatively from Metro Center you can go to Long Beach or LAX airport. Or if you change to the red line at Wilshire/Vermont you can go up to Hollywood. The “rapid” bus is also a block from the hotel (Wilshire/Vermont, like the purple line) and will take to the “miracle mile” museums to the west on Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, Westwood (UCLA) and Santa Monica. As for the hotel the room was large and comfortably furnished, clean, and equipped with wireless internet, a safety deposit box, a fridge and a coffee maker (a big plus as far as I’m concerned). There is also a restaurant on site. I had breakfast there; it was OK and reasonably priced. The staff were courteous and answered my few questions, e.g. where could I buy an umbrella (if you can believe it, it was raining cats and dogs in LA). Actually there are quite a few stores (e.g. grocery store, pharmacy) in the vicinity but not really much else of interest as far as I could see. With the pre-paid, no-refund deal I went for the room rate was which seems very reasonable to me for this class of hotel. Highly recommended.
Hotel closed to Korea Town”
This hotel is where I stayed whenever I visited to Los Angeles. Here is located in the Korea Town, and therefore you can get anywhere in Korea town. Free Wi-Fi system is equipped in the each room. Satellite TV channel for Korean people is in TV.
Enjoyable stay... the best of our holiday”
I had read some negative things somewhere else after booking this hotel but from my experience they could only have been malicious and need not be addressed. We were on the top floor over the parking garage, a large, clean room with 2 QS beds, perfect for the family. The member of staff at check in was very helpful in more ways than one. Parking is safe and free which after the huge cost in San Francisco to park at the hotel was very welcome. The area is safe and only one block walk from the Metro Station at Wilshire / Western. We all agreed that we found it to be these best room of our holiday, helped by the fact we were staying put for multiple days. For a city hotel the price was very good.... recommended.
I was upgraded to a suite room, but the room is quite old and Tv is located at the weird place. But the hotel is quite clean and staff are friendly. Also it was very close to wilshire/western station. Overall, Ramada is quite good.
Clean hotel with great location”
Hotel well equipped with clean large room, small fridge, hair dryer and iron. It situated with a walking distance to the public transport and there are a lot of restaurants around the areas. Free wifi and there is free internet in the lobby for those who don't have laptop, which is a bonus. Staff(including hotel maids) are helpfull, except one Asian looking person at the front desk need to improve customer services-e.g stop doing what ever she's doing while talking to customer and looking to them, not moving around while talking to customer. Overall I enjoyed staying at Ramada Inn and I definitely come back again and would recommended to anybody.
Barely acceptable as an affordable accomodation”
As hotels go, the Ramada Wilshire's affordability and proximity to local transit offset some of the annoyances I experienced. These "annoyances" included a nearly unworkable wifi in the room (worked far more reliably in the hotel lobby) and a mini-fridge that couldn't keep a single bar of ice cream from melting. Could really use a tech upgrade, but pretty affordable compared to many Los Angeles hotels.
perfect location and value for money”
The hotel has a perfect location, only one block away from the metro station. Unfortunately the don't have a business centre, and front office staff was not so hospitable. Room is quite comfortable and very spacious. It has separate bedroom and living room, and the bathroom is quite large as well. Wifi connection is also good and room price is very reasonable. So overall I would say that I enjoy my stay in Ramada Wilshire and quite satisfy with the service.
great location very near wilshire western metro, will go stay here again if we visit los angeles, will never run out of food to eat
Very convenient for our purpose.”
We had a short stay and it was pleasant. If we ever come that way again we will probably stay at The Ramada at 3900 Wilshire Boulevard.
Clean and comfortable hotel”
Overall cheap and cheerful hotel. Room was large and needed a little renovation, but overall a good place to stay. Included Fridge and Coffee maker in the room. Location of the hotel is great, its in the middle of Koreatown, and had free parking.
Great Place that doesn't break the bank ”
I have been coming to the Ramada for over 5 years on business. It is close to West Hollywood, the Grove and expressways. The service styed the same very friendly and fast check in. They remodeled a few times and I have to say I have no complaints. There are only a few hotels that don't charge to park and close to all the movies studios for those in the film business not making the big bucks. You can sleep undisturbed which you don't get in higher end hotels with all the partying. I don't like to drive in LA so this is convenient for me using the streets instead of spending time on the highways.
Smoking room was given instead of non smoking”
My reservation shows a non smoking was requested but Ramada only gave me a smoking room. An INCREDIBLY smoky room. All rooms were sold out and neighborhood hotels only had rooms available at over twice the rate. We kept the window open, in the wintertime, to diminish the smell a little bit but only succeeded in waking up very cold and smelling like smoke. It's been a couple days now and my suitcase still has a smokey smell :(

Good location and value”
I chose this hotel for the location where I was attending an event - it may not be suitable for all - and value - AND free parking! The hotel generally needs a bit of TLC; some redecoration, new carpets and some new furniture, refresh the bathrooms - but where it matters the bed-linen and towels were very clean and the bed was comfortable. Had a couple of issues with the wf-fi connecting and losing connection, but once connected the signal strength was good. And it took me a while to work out the television master remote - could do with some instructions in the room? Breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was good value.
I stayed there for a week for biz trip”
It's very good hotel with not expensive room rate. Location is quite near by K Town so it's kind of good place that I could hang out till late at nite. and it is also good when you have a business in Santamonica. It just take about 40 mins if you don't drive at rush hours. It was quite good enough for me.
overall stay was ok for the price. rooms were fine, parking is free, quite a good location close to convenience store, coffee shops, restaurants, metro etc. not too far from other areas as well. wifi in the room was very unstable, i had to use the wifi in the lobby most of the time. koreatown is not a bad place to stay in. i would recommend this hotel if u are on a tighter budget and dont need wifi very much.
Good location hotel”
It was a good time to be in Ramada hotel, the staff are quite friendly, and the location is very convenient. Especially for us as a Chinese, we can eat Korean food everywhere, I had a good time there.
Near to theme parks”
Near to Ralphs, a 24 hour supermarket where you can buy everything you need. Near Mc Donalds with free internet. On our first two days at Ramada, there was no internet so we have to go to McDonalds to be connected.
centrally located budget hotel”
Hotel location very near to purple line metro, and with easy access to bus transportation to santa monica, getty center, hollywood, the grove. It is a pretty convenient place.
Hotel located near Korea street ”
this hotel located in the korea street. it have a few dining area as well as korean food. the hotel room seems old but clean . the standard room is small however i got an upgrade to a suite room. the suite room is extremely big and even the toilet is big as well. i will rate the suite room better than the standard room. the car park is free and safe too with security patrolling at night. overall i will rate it as good!
