Bargain”

We came back at Ramada the second time after we had experienced Dead Sea Resort which was more expensive and did not like it and we concluded that Ramada was very good value for money.( being visited mostly by foreign tourists). I liked the location, which is far away of the busy other resorts and the beach which is quiet. I did not mind we had to take the shuttle bus to go to the beach( 2 min driving). I did not like the showers that have clogged sewerage so I have to take a shower using my slippers. Also, we paid 25JOD /pp for dinner and drinks were not included in that price- not even water. We had to pay 2.50 JOD per 2l bottle( outside of Dead Sea area 6 bottles are 0.85JOD).

Nice resort by the Dead Sea”

This is a nice resort by the Dead Sea. A frequent resort shuttle bus brings you right to the seashore owned by the resort. It has a heated spa pool and heated kids pool. Also a large pool. I would recommend including the buffet breakfast with your stay as it is far from many restaurants unless you have a car. Food is reasonably priced but prices do not have the added service charges and government taxes. Alcohol is expensive but that is everywhere in Jordan. No outside food or drink is allowed inside the resort. I think it is because itencourages ants in the hotel rooms as I can attest so I had to place my chocolates in the fridge. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and serviced daily. I would recommend this place to relax after full on sightseeing in Wadi Rum and Petra if you are coming by car from the south. There is secure parking in front of the hotel.

Excellent”

Location of the resort is out of the main resort area, which was not a deal breaker for us. Hotel offers a shuttle service to the beach area that runs every 20mins or so but its really just a short walk if you don't want to wait. The beach is a private one with deck chairs and a mud bath area which was great. The bathroom in the room I had somehow had a slight dirty feeling, though it wasn't abysmal and the rest of the room was fine. Good breakfast/buffet dinner (not too expensive for dinner either). The dead sea area is generally expensive so this was one of the more affordable options but wouldn't say it was value for money otherwise. The staff were excellent though, so that really makes up for whatever shortcomings the property might have. Overall, a pleasant stay.

A comfortable 2-night stay”

Excellent service from friendly staff; comfortable room; plenty of nice food

We went in the height of summer and were almost the only westerners in the whole hotel, however we didn't feel at a disadvantage in any way - both staff and other guests were very friendly and pleasant. It is a family hotel so there were lots of children running about and playing in the (rather small) pools, so if you're bothered by the shrieks of kids enjoying themselves, this is not the place for you. However, I have rarely come across such friendly and helpful staff who made our stay a complete pleasure. There are interesting sites nearby, for example the place where John the Baptist baptised Jesus, and the hotel will arrange a car for you. Considering the remoteness of the location and thus the fact that you area captive audience I wouldn't say the charge for this was exorbitant. The beach attached to the hotel (accessed via a shuttle bus every 1/2 hour) is almost lunar in its bleakness, but then this is no ordinary sea. There's a man to dispense towels who doubled up as a lifeguard, a bucket of Dead Sea mud which you can daub onto yourself and your loved ones, a few loungers and umbrellas and a weedy shower, however I have no complaints about any of this as basic needs were met. There was no opportunity to buy water or snacks, but I think that this was because we had come out of season and were, indeed, the only 2 people in the water for as far as the eye could see. I recommend this hotel for a short and comfortable stay but beware of the children if you're of a curmudgeonly nature.

Rude staff stay elsewhere ”

The room service private beach on the Dead Sea and pool area

When we went to check in we had to put our bags through a scanner which found a bottle of vodka. The security guy tried to confiscate it however we put it in the car. You're not allowed to take alcohol in as they charge exorbitant prices £7 for a small can of lager. Once through the machine the guy at the end threw our bags on the floor which was not happy about. He then proceeded to help other people with there's. the room was lovely as was the pool area. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away however the road to it is only half paved do I would suggest you take he shuttle bus. The restaurant would be fabulous if not for the fact that role can smoke in there which is disgusting. We had are meals via room service which was fantastic the meals are huge and one would easily do go two people. We did have issues with housekeeping we requested a mug as there was one we never got it. It says the mini bar gets restocked daily it doesn't when we asked reception they were really rude and told us we would have to pay of we wanted anything else. I did read to them there information leaflet in the room however they told me that I was wrong and put the phone down. The entertainment they put on is do loud it made our room vibrate until 12.30 am which is not pleasant at all. I would recommend you sat elsewhere in the Dead Sea I will be next time I go

Great, except they reserve't find Agoda reservatio”

Cost,

The hotel was great. Not right on the beach, but easy to access if you want. But the pool area was great and wasn't even that crowded on a weekend. Great breakfast. And very clean rooms, which all have views of the Dead Sea. Only down side was that they could not find our Agoda reservation and we spent an hour in the lobby waiting, and it seems as if they would have let us wait there forever because after an hour, they just said we could go to the pool and hang out there. It wasn't until I called Agoda that the situation was resolved within 5 minutes.

Very helpful staff!”

We came here on a pretty bad timing - right before the virus outbreak and massive sandstorm at the same time. Unfortunately our car was hit by a rock during the storm and our windshield was cracked. We met the manager and he handled the situation himself since we didn’t speak the native language. He contacted the police, our car company, drove us to the police station and back twice. We were really happy with the outcome. Apart from that the food was great, we loved laying by the pool and distance to the Dead Sea was only 600m so we took a chance to check it out as well. The conditioner in the rooms could be a little better as we were a bit hot during the nights, but overall great experience. I really recommend staying here!

We had a great time at the resort. The facilities were great and the location was 5 minutes away from dead sea private beach for which they had a shuttle going back and forth every 10 minutes. The pool at the resort was great too as it was hot out. The dinner and breakfast were sumptuous. I greatly recommend this place.

Great holiday stay at Dead Sea, Jordan ”

We thoroughly appreciate the staff and especially Mr.Abdullah, Manager for his hospitality during our stay at the hotel which assured a pleasant stay ! We definitely recommend this hotel as this is the best hotel at a very economical price. Dead Sea access is just few minutes walk / there is a cab going back and forth anyways. We are looking for a trip again later this year during summer to enjoy the weather. Thanks

A Quite Stay in the Dead Sea”

The hotel is located in a secluded part of the dead sea far from the other hotels and the main road. This is a good place to stay if you need peace and quite. You have to take a 5 minute shuttle bus ride going to the beach. The beach side however is very sandy unlike the stony beachfronts of other hotels. Food selection in the buffet is great. Rooms are comfortable and fairly clean with balconies for you to sit and admire the sunset/sunrise.

Location, location, location!”

The sea, the climate, the sea!

This is a lovely hotel, situated beautifully close to the Dead sea. Unfortunately for us, our booking seemed not to be registered on our arrival, so we had to wait around 50 minutes before being allocated a room. As we had travelled from Sri lanka, on a very early flight, we were exhausted, and it was difficult to have to wait in the foyer whilst the hotel sorted it out! The reception staff did all they could to make us comfortable, offering us drink, then finally the office succeeded in sorting it, and we were upgraded to a room with sea and pool views, and a large balcony. Nice. The room was very pleasant, but the bathroom was not completely clean. Not too bad, but a bit below par. The meals were also a little below par, as our room service order was not what we had ordered, and could not be charged to the room. However, the shuttle to the beach, and beach area were great! We loved being there.Problems were not insurmountable!

Nice pleasant relaxing few days by the Dead sea”

The hotel was located just about 5 minutes walk from the dead sea it also a range of dining options and the general ambiance of the hotel was lovely

We only stayed a short period of time just enough to pop down to the Dead sea and have a swim. It was off season so not all the hotel facilities were open but it was quiet and relaxed so this was not a big issue. There was supposed to be a transport of some sort to drop hotel residents down to the beach but as it was only 5 minutes walk the fact that this did not appear to be operational was no difficulty. Overall a lovely hotel placed ideally for relaxation and a swim in the dead sea

Great selection for breakfast. Close to the Dead Sea. The shuttle bus leaves with no wait for the guest. Hard to find, if you are traveling by car. (It's very close to the checkpoint, not in the hotel area).
