Cheaper in this area. ”

They have good housekeeping service as fast fix from them when i notice some problem with the room. Breakfast is boring with less choice but traditional jordan way, having same in my two days stay. I stayed other resort in dead sea, if travel budget Ramada is the good choice.

Value for money hotel with private beach”

Visited in Apr 2019 + Value for money for who cannot afford 5 five stars hotel in city center. This hotel has private beach with valuable room rate. + Private beach for Dead Sea experience and Dead Sea mud. - We are group of 3. They upgrade us to the bigger room but forget to add 1 more towel for us - Our booking is not include dinner and we know it. Staff in front of the restaurant told us the rate and we ok for it. Then he write down our room number. After e went inside, there are 2 more staffs came and ask our room number again and again. - No slipper in room (for beach).

Short Stay”

Good value for money, good breakfast and buffet dinner for 17Jd per person. However, no food and drink allowed in the hotel. Dead sea beach about 700m from the hotel with free shuttel to the beach. Overall Excellent hotel.

Private beach, no need to pay more”

Breakfast is standard as 4 star hotel. Private Beach with shuttle bus, you can enjoy mud bath and dead sea without extra fee. Shuttle bus is every 30 min but I saw he drives all the time, Actually I wait only 10 min per round. Room floor is dirty, filled with footprints and dust plus 3 insects in the room. Small towel is only 1. Maid should do better than this.

Excellent”

Location of the resort is out of the main resort area, which was not a deal breaker for us. Hotel offers a shuttle service to the beach area that runs every 20mins or so but its really just a short walk if you don't want to wait. The beach is a private one with deck chairs and a mud bath area which was great. The bathroom in the room I had somehow had a slight dirty feeling, though it wasn't abysmal and the rest of the room was fine. Good breakfast/buffet dinner (not too expensive for dinner either). The dead sea area is generally expensive so this was one of the more affordable options but wouldn't say it was value for money otherwise. The staff were excellent though, so that really makes up for whatever shortcomings the property might have. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Four Stars or More”

Dead Sea, Pools, Internet, Breakfast

Great selection for breakfast. Close to the Dead Sea. The shuttle bus leaves with no wait for the guest. Hard to find, if you are traveling by car. (It's very close to the checkpoint, not in the hotel area).

Overwhelmed staff - very short of expected standard”

I stayed here on two separate occasions a week apart. The hotel lost my reservations on both occasions, sent me to a room which was not made up and were not willing to provide an alternative until I insisted. I was also stuck in a faulty elevator and when we sounded the alarm nobody came to assist - we were forced to pry the doors open and climb out between floors ourselves. Staff at check-in were completely overwhelmed by customers and ringing phones and insisted on being paid at check-in rather than check-out, making billing dinner etc. to the room cumbersome. The Ramada brand has a certain expectation of standard and if it wasn't for the location by the Dead Sea with exclusive beach access this hotel would have absolutely nothing to offer. Similarly situation alternative hotels can be found in the area. If rooms can be found at similar cost, I would definitely recommend staying elsewhere.

Falls very short of expectations”

Paying a little extra for the privelage of an exlusive Dead Sea beach access and with a brand name hotel comes with expectations over and above cheaper acommodation nearby. However, the Ramada Dead Sea fell very short of expected standards. I stayed to nights one week apart. On check in the first night they had no record of my booking but claimed to have a record of my second night's booking. However, on checking in for the return stay later in the week, they had by that stage lost my second booking too. On being assigned a room we found that it had not been cleaned and had clear residue from the previous guests. We were then asked to wait for the room to be cleaned despit this being well after normal check in time. We were then stuck in the elevator which failed between floors. Staff also insisted that we pay on check-in rather than at checkout thus making it difficult to bill dinner and sundries to the room. They also got the time of our requested wake-up call wrong.

Clean but Pricey”

Everywhere at the Dead Sea is overpriced. This was one of the more affordable places to stay, but it is still way too expensive for what it is. The food was okay and the pools are quite nice. It is a short walk to the Dead Sea with an alright beach and showers nearby. The room was clean and modern.

location is not good.”

very hard to find the location even though we were self driving. Front desk staff told us the last shuttle bus to the dead sea beach was at 1900. However, when we arrived in the bus stop at 1823pm and wait till 1835, no bus came finally. Other staff saw us to wait at the bus stop but they did not tell us that there was no more bus until we asked them. Finally we walked to the beach. although it was not so far to the beach, just 8-10mins, it was still wasting our time as the staff were not considerable. breakfast is just normal. other facility is good. swimming pool is clean.

A Quite Stay in the Dead Sea”

The hotel is located in a secluded part of the dead sea far from the other hotels and the main road. This is a good place to stay if you need peace and quite. You have to take a 5 minute shuttle bus ride going to the beach. The beach side however is very sandy unlike the stony beachfronts of other hotels. Food selection in the buffet is great. Rooms are comfortable and fairly clean with balconies for you to sit and admire the sunset/sunrise.

Worst ramada I v ever been to.”

The hotel is of 2 star category .. The room service was very slow. Food was awful . The pizza gave me a bad stomach. I asked for a glass for my beer and they did not have a bigger glass. The water was clogging in the bathroom. The AC was not working , I had to change 2 rooms at the middle of the night which took me more than 2 hrs.

A comfortable 2-night stay”

Excellent service from friendly staff; comfortable room; plenty of nice food

We went in the height of summer and were almost the only westerners in the whole hotel, however we didn't feel at a disadvantage in any way - both staff and other guests were very friendly and pleasant. It is a family hotel so there were lots of children running about and playing in the (rather small) pools, so if you're bothered by the shrieks of kids enjoying themselves, this is not the place for you. However, I have rarely come across such friendly and helpful staff who made our stay a complete pleasure. There are interesting sites nearby, for example the place where John the Baptist baptised Jesus, and the hotel will arrange a car for you. Considering the remoteness of the location and thus the fact that you area captive audience I wouldn't say the charge for this was exorbitant. The beach attached to the hotel (accessed via a shuttle bus every 1/2 hour) is almost lunar in its bleakness, but then this is no ordinary sea. There's a man to dispense towels who doubled up as a lifeguard, a bucket of Dead Sea mud which you can daub onto yourself and your loved ones, a few loungers and umbrellas and a weedy shower, however I have no complaints about any of this as basic needs were met. There was no opportunity to buy water or snacks, but I think that this was because we had come out of season and were, indeed, the only 2 people in the water for as far as the eye could see. I recommend this hotel for a short and comfortable stay but beware of the children if you're of a curmudgeonly nature.

Great, except they reserve't find Agoda reservatio”

Cost,

The hotel was great. Not right on the beach, but easy to access if you want. But the pool area was great and wasn't even that crowded on a weekend. Great breakfast. And very clean rooms, which all have views of the Dead Sea. Only down side was that they could not find our Agoda reservation and we spent an hour in the lobby waiting, and it seems as if they would have let us wait there forever because after an hour, they just said we could go to the pool and hang out there. It wasn't until I called Agoda that the situation was resolved within 5 minutes.

Rude staff stay elsewhere ”

The room service private beach on the Dead Sea and pool area

When we went to check in we had to put our bags through a scanner which found a bottle of vodka. The security guy tried to confiscate it however we put it in the car. You're not allowed to take alcohol in as they charge exorbitant prices £7 for a small can of lager. Once through the machine the guy at the end threw our bags on the floor which was not happy about. He then proceeded to help other people with there's. the room was lovely as was the pool area. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away however the road to it is only half paved do I would suggest you take he shuttle bus. The restaurant would be fabulous if not for the fact that role can smoke in there which is disgusting. We had are meals via room service which was fantastic the meals are huge and one would easily do go two people. We did have issues with housekeeping we requested a mug as there was one we never got it. It says the mini bar gets restocked daily it doesn't when we asked reception they were really rude and told us we would have to pay of we wanted anything else. I did read to them there information leaflet in the room however they told me that I was wrong and put the phone down. The entertainment they put on is do loud it made our room vibrate until 12.30 am which is not pleasant at all. I would recommend you sat elsewhere in the Dead Sea I will be next time I go

Location, location, location!”

The sea, the climate, the sea!

This is a lovely hotel, situated beautifully close to the Dead sea. Unfortunately for us, our booking seemed not to be registered on our arrival, so we had to wait around 50 minutes before being allocated a room. As we had travelled from Sri lanka, on a very early flight, we were exhausted, and it was difficult to have to wait in the foyer whilst the hotel sorted it out! The reception staff did all they could to make us comfortable, offering us drink, then finally the office succeeded in sorting it, and we were upgraded to a room with sea and pool views, and a large balcony. Nice. The room was very pleasant, but the bathroom was not completely clean. Not too bad, but a bit below par. The meals were also a little below par, as our room service order was not what we had ordered, and could not be charged to the room. However, the shuttle to the beach, and beach area were great! We loved being there.Problems were not insurmountable!
