For nearly two centuries, the Rambagh Palace was home to generations of royals. Deservedly known as the Jewel Of Jaipur, this magnificent royal palace was later converted to an elegant hotel and has since been taken over by the prestigious Raj Hotel Group. Today, the Taj Rambagh Palace is one of India's finest hotels, offering absolute 5-star service and facilities. The marbled hallways and extravagant accommodation gives guests a taste of the how it was to be part of the Maharaja elite in times long gone. Come dinner time, enjoy the finest Indian cuisine in the dining hall of the palace, known as Suvarna Mahal, or for a less formal, al-fresco dining experience, retire to The Verandah for contemporary Western and Indian snacks and meals. Taj Rambagh Palace is easy to book - just enter your travel dates on our secure online booking form.

amazing palace do not stay anywhere else but here!”
I cannot stress more how much I love this hotel. service provided the hotel itself is perfect, especially the duty manager, Chandni, she is a very lovely girl and always with a smile. Originally i was about to stay in this hotel for only one night (as i wanted to try other hotels in jaipur). But once i left Rambagh Palace and reached the hotel, i was appalled when i notice the huge difference between Rambagh and that hotel (i wont disclose it here but you might see my other reviews then you should know). i was devastated and was delighted to find Chandni's business card in my purse, and so i called her. She offered me a very good price for me to stay in Rambagh palace for another night. I didnt even have a second thought and said yes, even I already paid the full price of this appalling hotel. i believe the above is self-explanatory why Rambagh Palace is the only place you should stay in Jaipur. Please, trust me, don't go anywhere else.
Excellent Palace for a wonderful break”
I had a wonderful 4 days at Rambagh Palace - a wonderful place to stay and be treated like royalty. I could not fault this hotel. The welcome was overwhelming - a drive from the gate in a wonderful vintage car, rose petals drifting onto our heads as we alighted the stairs, an upgrade to a beautiful suite, a guided tour of the Palace ending with sparking wine and canapes. The attention to detail is outstanding. The upkeep of the palace is a credit to the management of the hotel. The staff are extremely attentive but also discreet. It was wonderful to have female duty manages who went out of their way to assist us with feminine issues. The restaurants are superb with an amazing selection of dishes. Everything about this place is exquisite and if you can stay at least one night you won't regret it, but more nights are even better! Such an experience I've never had elsewhere. Thank you everyone at Rambagh Palace Hotel.
Extraordinary Experience of Luxury and Hospitality”
Staying at Rambagh Palace has been a very unique and rare experience of absolutely outstanding service, palace atmosphere, and fine dining experience, where I really do not feel in the position of giving recommendations. ... a flutist on the palace roof is playing in the morning hours; in the evening the elephants pass through the garden, the meadows are illuminated by little fire bowls; whenever an idea comes into your mind, the immaculate service staff appears with the utmost sensitivity to the guests comfort. A beautiful moment in time ..
Historic place”
our stay at rambagh was outstanding, we were upgraded to a palace room and it was amazing. the service was exceptional and we felt like a royalty. the food was good in their restaurant though i can not remember the name of it. it was quite an experience dining in the royal garden while the palace is lit up by pretty lamps. there is one thing i never understand is why these super luxury hotels have to charge you for the wifi. it wasn't taj's fault because the trend was similar in every 5 star hotel we stayed in india but it doesn't make sense.
Absolute luxury”
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like royalty. Our room was magnificent despite it being the cheapest room in the Hotel. The food was wonderful and when they found out it was my Birthday I received a floral Birthday message that almost made me cry and a beautiful gift. It really was an unforgettable stay. Thank you Rambagh Palace Management and staff.
Amazing hotel and service- a must stay.”
the rambagh palace was an amazing hotel. service was excellent and overall we could not fault them on anything. definately recommend this hotel to everyone and we will be going back again.
Beautiful hotel”
excellent hotel with great service and staff. wonderful greeting and exiting. tour of the palace is a definite must do, interesting history. staff was very attentive especially the dining staff. great place to spend a romantic weekend with someone special. i would recommend this palace and look forward to staying at another taj.
Beautiful hotel”
It is a beautiful hotel converted from a palace, the Indian restaurant is a must if you are in in Jaipur, it's really well decorated, if you want to indulge & can afford to stay there it's worth once in a life experience, The staff were friendly and helpful , all the Taj group of hotels we were staying during our trip gave us complimentary breakfast, unfortunately this was the only hotel who did not give us inspire of our request, which I though was not so nice as the hotel was hardly half full, we enjoyed our stay there, other than the fact that it is a palace it's services are like most other five star hotel, little things have been added as extras such as they welcome you like you are a royalty, and the rooms are huge, with separate dressing area and big bathrooms
One of the best of the best hotel ever”
The location is good, easy to access to everywhere, to markets, to sightseeing places, and airport. We have arrived very late without notice due to the flight misconnection and we were not dressed up properly when we arrived but they welcomed us with warm greeting with big smiles, we have stayed many hotels in the world but their welcome service was the best ever. Beautiful and gorgeous palace and garden, city is busy but this palace was at very calm and quiet place. Room was just gorgeous. Important information for ladies, hotel amenities were all from Forest Essentials known for ayurveda, there was bath salt so we have enjoyed and relaxed in the room since we didnt have time for experience their spa this time. Most of staffs were very friendly, very kind, welcome you with warm smiles, attend you very quickly whenever you need their help. The one at the front desk for checkout was not professional and did not have very nice attitude so we were dissapointed at the end though overall, staffs are just excellent. We didn't have much time for stay but this is the place you should stay once in your life at least 2 nights and we definitely will go back again.
The Maharaja Experience”
The Rambagh is a unique experience. You really feel the atmosphere of the palace, the staff and management are exceptional and you will love every minute.
Heritage hotel ,excellent location and service”
IIt is a beautiful palace ,if you are in Jaipur you have to go at least once in your lifetime. We were close to everything. They were very nice and they even upgraded us to a beautiful suite.
Exquisite, beautiful and one of the best hotels I've stayed at!”
What a beautiful hotel this is - everything about this place are our trip to Jaipur wonderful. The attentive, thoughtful and friendly staff are an asset to this place We stayed for 6 nights and (though expensive) it's worth it! The only feedback I'd give would be that the arranged Diwali meal and show was a bit lame - and very pricy for what you actually got (buffet meal and some dancing/fireworks). We were there during what must have been a quiet period - the hotel restaurants and bars weee Pretty empty most of the time (so at times it felt lacking in atmosphere) - so I'd encourage anyone to venture out!! Other then that I can't complain. The facilities are excellent
Surprisingly wonderful palace”
We got a great welcome as we got a massive room when we landed. They upgraded us to level higher. We had the separate bathroom, dressing room with closet, separate hall with TV and separate bedroom with another TV. We took a ride in the the vintage cars of the palace hotel as well as the horse carriage ride. The swimming was fun in room temperature controlled pool. The Gym was cool too (modern equipment). The Palace grounds were huge.46 Acres property. Food is also very good and not as expensive.
Out of this world”
OMG!!! What can I say about this fantastic hotel. The service was fantastic, from the time we drove up to the main gates to the reception we received when we reached the main entrance. The hotel transports you back to a bygone era while you enter into a real palace. Words cannot describe the feeling of grandness of this magical place. We love to stroll in the grounds, exploring the different gardens among the free roaming peacocks. We stayed for 2 nights there and both nights we dined in at the indian restaurant there. Service there was impeccable. We left feeling like we had a taste of royalty.
Exceptional”
The property and hospitality was just as beautiful as when we were married here at The Rambagh on Nov 25, 1990!
the Raj epitomised”
As you approach along the driveway, the sight of this magnificent palace assured us that we were in for a special experience. Just to know that this would be our home for a few days, made us feel like we also were royalty. The staff ae trained to anticipate needs, and they excelled in being proactive with everything we could have asked for, and things we didn't know to ask. The golden service Indian cuisine retaurant could possibly be the best in India. The only trivial quibble, is that it is a gracefully aging building, so you may have to get the electrician to keep everything working properly. But they respond promptly and are very friendly and helpful.
Impeccable service and design”
For our first time in India we wanted to stay somewhere with culture, history, and great design... and we were not disappointed. We experienced world-class service from check-in to check-out. The hotel staff made it rain rose petals upon arrival, as we walked up the stairs. We were greeted by the managed Vikas, who took a very personal interest in us - he even pulled me aside after discovering I just proposed to my girlfriend a day prior, and offered a special candlelit dinner at a great price. His staff were just as knowledgeable about our needs/preferences - I could tell he briefed them well. All in all, the rooms, gardens, amenities, entertainment, cleanliness way exceeded our expectations and made our engagement memorable, the most memorable trip we've had in a very long time.
Royal heritage and peacocks.”
The hotel/palace and it's grounds are gorgeous and a tranquil oasis. The peacocks are about the most noise you hear. But they did not bother us. A lot of comfort and good service and personal touches. The food was excellent. We loved our stay here!
beautiful and outstanding service and kindness ”
It was like in a fairy tale, living in a palace and feeling at home. Every small corner is beautiful and elegant and the service is excellent and kind and friendly.
magical palce where wonders occur!”
rambargh is an expetience of a lifgetime, to stay in a real palace where the maharaja actually explored is just astounding!
