charming beyond belief”
This is not a typical north american small hotel (a best western for ex) but a truly unique traveller's boutique hotel where the staff are maybe not perfectly trained but try so hard and go above and beyond ensuring your perfect comfort. So gentle a spirit among the staff, so joyful and accommodating, and clearly wanting their guests to feel like...wanted guests! It was very private, down such a small alley we had to carry our suitcase the last 10m (hotel would have but we went ahead, we're strong enough) because the cab couldn't squeeze the small alleyway. It was super super quiet, not a sound (they purposeful turn off the small pool waterfall at about 9 pm and don't allow swimming, unless with their permission for a very quiet dunk, after 9 or so, in consideration of the other maybe 30 or so guests. Great breakfast to order, 1/2 hour foot massage was free and no up-sell of anything at all, and happy hour was 'flexible' (they started mine 1 1/2 early!

When you arrive at Rambutan, you are immediately part of the family. The welcome smile, the Villa Complex and the Villa itself is a scene of paradise. Everything was super clean, the breakfast menu has great choices and you get delivered a freshly prepared breakfast and wonderful coffee. Regarding the price, it depends on season and room availability. Perfect location, 5 minutes walk to night market and 8 minutes walk to pub street. The complex itself lies in a quiet lane. Highly recommended and I would return to Rambutan for sure.

Outstanding in almost every respect...”
Beautiful hotel, immaculate accommodations, and charming staff so very eager to please... Not to mention a back-up generator that functioned throughout a day when electricity was off city-wide! During Siem Reap's soaring daytime temperatures, that benefit is no small consideration. Two relatively minor caveats: 1) Stairs are STEEP to second- and third-floor rooms. Typical of smaller (and many larger) Siem Reap hotels, there is no elevator. 2) There is little, if any, control over room temperature. My a/c was set at 16 Celsius, but the temperature never approached 24. Either management has dictated the thermostat or my room leaked cold air like a sieve. Pointedly, beds come with no blankets. On the other hand, my shower was a virtual Niagara--and water was blazing hot! No end of fresh towels and toiletries, Would I return? I can hardly wait...

It always feels like being welcomed home when we visit Rambutan. The staff is amazing! They go all the way to make sure you have a wonderful time. Breakfast is delicious and you can pick and mix whatever you like from the menu. Afternoon cocktails at the pool were a true highlight with the spicy and strong Kamput Martini as our all time favorite drink! The manager Tommy gave us also great suggestions for places to eat and to visit that were a bit off the beaten track but really worth visiting. We hope to be back soon!

Had a wonderful time staying at Rhambutan during my time in siem Reap. The hotel is just across the river from the Old Market and walking distance to Pub Street and great restaurants. The rooms were large, clean and pretty. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I will be staying there again when I return to Siem Reap and would recommend.

Great Hotel”
This hotel is an Oasis ... just a 10 min walk to the market and pub street , you could not get more central. The hotel is located in a quiet alley but it is so peaceful. This is boutique at it’s best .The rooms are a generous size and great outdoor bathtub , the terrace rooms are great. The thing that makes this hotel stand out the most is it’s staff ! they are amazing and super friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap

Great staff and good value for money ”
I spent 2 nights in Siem Riep. The staff was supportive even before our arrival with visa questions and arranging us a tuk tuk to take us from airport. They recommended a great driver who took us 2 days for temple visit. Food in the restaurant is good, facilities are great. Staff was always friendly and professional during the entire experience.

This hotel was an amazing deal for our Siem Reap stay! We got a complementary 30 min massage with our stay. Our villa came with nice amenities. The breakfasts were quick and delicious (both western and Cambodian options). Centrally located, we were able to walk or take a quick tuk tuk to where ever we needed.

Great little resort”
The price I paid was 55 dollars per night which was about right. Nice room, comfortable bed, the shower wasn't always warm, but the upstairs area with a balcony was very nice and the location of the resort in Siem Reap was excellent. Friendly staff, very accommodating, had no trouble giving me extra towels when it was raining. Overall, great little place.

Lovely hotel close to the action but quiet”
Great location in an alley behind the night market. There are two Rambuttan hotels in the same lane separated by a different hotel. Room was comfortable and the hotel had a good restaurant and a good happy hour for cocktails. Really good staff with access to good drivers and advice. Would happily stay again.
