We are family with small kids from kedah, came to penang every 1 to 2 years. We love this place. Its close to main road, eatery, gas station etc. The room is very comfortable, clean, bed is very nice, toilet clean and big. We got a secluded room in the corner so our kids didnt disturb other guest. it has only one level so no stairs, lift etc. Very safe to our kids. Staff is very nice, attending to us very quick and professional. We got worth more than the price so we are happy. We will surely come again here.

I love staying here so so much! Its really cheap and most importantly the owner so so nice to me. I was im hurry booking this hotel, and i bookedna small room despite i come with my parents, so when the owner said i might feel uncomfortable with that room, so they change us to another bigger room without any extra charges! I was so shocked coz they so nice, asked us if we need anything and even provide us sejadah for prayer. Its hard to find someone like them coz u will feel like home when u stay there, and the place so so near to beach, night walk, food stalls. And the place so clean, have facilities like microwave, water cooler n heater, fridge, iron and so on. The price so so cheap too, less than 100😭😭I would like recommend to stay here, u would love it!

I haven`t met friendlier hosts as in Rasa Motel Penang! They greeted me with such warmness and answered all my questions with great enthusiasm. Standard double room was perfect for solo traveller, bed very comfy, had wifi, TV, aircon and a private bathroom - everything worked properly and the room was cleaned daily. At first I booked this place only for 2 nights, but ended up staying there for more than one week! It`s only 5 minutes walk from the beach and the bus stop is just in front of the motel, so very easy to go to the beach or take the bus and drive to the Georgetown. And the price is good too - so definitely recommend this place!

This motel is the best option if you like to stay in batu ferringhi on a budget. The nicest owners we have meet in malaysia ❤️ thank you for everything we get some sweets to try and very very good tipps for local food an markets. Staff is also really nice and everything is really clean. They also sell a cold beer what is really important when you have a loooong travel day 😄 there is also a 24h cold and hot water refill station for free at the reception. The busstation is also in front of the motel and very near to beach and night market. Thanks for the great stay we love it at your motel. Looking forward to see us again next time. 😊

Booked it last minute and wasn't sure about the place. It was a very pleasant and lovely stay and definitely exceeded my expectation. Very helpful and kind owner. Always there to help. Needed to use his personal fridge for my baby's vitamins and he didn't hesitate at all. Room was spotless clean. We stayed in a 2double (windowless) bed room and we didn't miss the window. It was quiet and calm at night and we all slept well. It's very close to the beach and comes with free parking. They even provide towels. Highly recommended!

Ideal and hapoy stay for a short vacation (4 nights). The location is very strategic, with walking distance to the beach, night markets, convenient shops and McD/KFC. Car parks are available and petrol station is just nearby. The room is very clean and well equipped with all the basic facilities. The owners are very friendly and share a lot of relevant travel information. Will come back again.

Worth to book at this hotel, if you’re thinking about the budget. You can walk to spa, a few distance from this motel. You also can walk if you want to buy groceries, if you love to walk. If you don’t love to walk, don’t try. You will feel exhausted.

Super valuable for a stay. Very clean. Air-conditioning very cold. The shower water pressure super strong. Provide guides to walk or move around which is very informative and helpful front desk. Keep it up! 👍🏼 Perfect location to easily walk to the beach. Plenty of car parks well prepared.

I stayed at Rasa Motel with my brother for 1 week. Just checked out yesterday. When we checked in, the owner Mr Chan gave us a thorough briefing of the facilities and provided us with a map explaining all the makan places, beach direction etc. The location of this motel which is directly opposite Rasa Sayang Hotel and Golden Sands Hotel with the public beach 4 minutes walk from this motel was just great. There is a long night market to walk which is just about 3-4 minutes walk away. Everywhere is filled with eateries and nice Bora Bora pub, The Ship Restaurant are all within walking distance. The service rendered by Chan and his wife was second to none. They were not only friendly and helpful, but always offers small interesting talks and advice. His wife kept for us some nice local buns they made for themselves to try. She even offerred to cook for us fresh crabs with great Penang recipe, unfortunately we could not take up her offer as we were out most of the time. The room is a little bit small (no issue for us as this is a motel and not a hotel) but clean and everything functioned properly. In short, my brother and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Cannot find another place with such good value/price, at great location and first class service which was at a very personal level. It truly feels like staying at a friend’s place! To Chan and his wife, if you are reading my review now, many thanks for your excellent hospitality. You made our stay so memorable and with the personal touch that you have both put in. Running this motel business single handedly just the both of you in current climate is tough. You both work 24 hours and almost never sleeps. You are doing a great job, so hang in there when the going is tough. I hope to meet and stay at your place again for our next trip to Penang. Take care and all the best 👍🏼
