Will serve your needs well for either a short or longer stay ”
originally booked hotel for 2N to get settled for a business trip as I was unfamiliar with the city but wanted to be close to the International Animal Doctors located directly across the street. I’ve now confirmed my stay for one month as the staff, location, breakfast + roof top pool meet my needs extremely well. Am now on my 4th & could not be happier The staff are without exception fantastic & do everything they can to assist you with your needs. Be it finding a driver, navigating the city, purchasing various/unusual items, extending my visa in Laos or working out the challenges with SIM card & getting my what’s app to allow me to communicate with locals. Pros - staff & management, breakfast buffet changes daily including both eastern/western options, amazing coffee, ice in my Nalgene bottle + free water, cooling off in the pool at the end of the day. Cons-the elevator is hot and if it broke and I was scared how long one might last inside.
Agoda Rates Excellent”
Huge gap between the offers of Agoda and hotel rack rates. Extremely friendly staff under watchful eye of Director, not quite to western version of 5 star hotel but plenty of positive points and additions to national charm of this small country. Would certainly do repeat booking.
Ok hotel for the money”
Could be a great hotel although is tired and the staff don’t really understand good service. The breakfast needs improving as it is not good but the price was cheap so wouldn’t complain. Just a shame as it could be a good hotel. The swimming pool was very clean. We ordered a shuttle and they never turned up even though we phoned them 3 times! Needs some better management.
good nice hotel”
good nice hotelgood nice hotelgood nice hotel
very impressed ”
staffs are very very nice the room is clean but a bit older than my expectation they have shuttle bus service to city's center every 2 hr. for free if I have to travel Vientiane again, I'll choose this hotel for sure.
The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The room we were in was starting to get a bit tired. It was very reasonably priced. The location was superb. ”
We had booked the hotel on an Internet site and the only dissapointment was that it is a little further from the town CBD then we thought. Great staff and good facilities. The rooms were large and conformable. The hotel had a good free transport system to get guests in and from the town CBD.
first rate service and superb comfort”
I stay here almost every time I'm in this area when visiting Vientiane. Its probably not the greatest location compared to others, but the 'others' seriously lack what Rashmi's Plaza offer. The sleeping system is the best I've ever experienced in my life and would love to have a bed like this at home. I have an awesome nights rest and dont want to leave the next day. I can't stress enough how much I love their bed. The shower is normally sensational but this time it required descaling as the water sprayed a bit haphazardly, but the pressure and temp was perfect. The food is always top notch with fast service and the cocktails do their job too.. hahaha.. The manager is a delight and excellent to converse with and makes returning there a treat. The only thing needed is more fine tuning of the WiFi which is still lacking in the rooms partly due to the layout but it needs improving. Other than that if you can live without the best WiFi connection in the world, and suffice with cable for a laptop, this is the only place to stay.. Perfect.
Value for money”
New and cleanliness hotel but some decoration with metal made the room a little bit hot,the staffs are very helpful and have the service mind.tThe location is a bit far from downtown but,it's close to Mekhong River
Very nice hotel”
This hotel has great rooms the bed also large. the lobby is very well done and the staff great they speak very good english I would recommend it if you want to pay about 90 us a night. They even have a free airport shuttle when you depart.
Good hotel, with staff service very good. Location about 10 mins away from main town area, so quiet and peaceful. Room is cleaned twice a day, the other time being when they do the turn down service. Great! Free shuttle service to town and airport and vice versa. Breakfast spread was good. Bed was amazing. Highly recommended!
Very nice rooms, long way from the centre”
The rooms at the Rashmi Plaza are very good. Very comfortable bed; TV with a couple of film channels; nice curtains; complicated shower with various functions. One complaint - there was a great feature meaning that you could watch a TV while in the bath, however there was never enough hot water to fill a bath. A few other nice features in the hotel - the koi carp in the garden were great and the rooftop pool nice. Breakfast was very good. The main drawback to the hotel is that it really is a VERY long way from the centre. The hotel runs a free shuttle minibus every 2 hours until about 8.00pm and I found myself using this at least once, sometimes twice a day. Overall I'd say the hotel is good value for a stopover, probably better to get somewhere closer to the centre for a longer stay.
Everything at your Fingertips!”
This hotel has one of the most comfortable rooms I have stayed in for some time. From the exceptionally comfortable bed to the luxurious bath in the spacious bathroom, there was nothing I could fault. The hotel has a wide variety of food available to suit all tastes, an excellent breakfast, bars both downstairs and in the pool area, an excellent spa and all the amenities one would expect. Although a little way outside central Vientiane, there is a free shuttle bus to take you downtown and bring you bak at regular intervals throughout the day. I will certainly stay again.
A wonderful surprise”
This hotel was truly a wonderful surprise. We had not been to Laos before and had no idea what to expect. The staff were warm, friendly and always helpful. The hotel is located approximately 10 minutes drive from the town centre, but they provide a free shuttle service to and from town every hour. Wonderful service and they just needed 20 minutes notice to prepare the vehicle. We also used their car and driver for a couple of tours. For 2 hours around town stopping at the golden pergoda and arc de triumph we paid $US20. For a longer drive to the Buddha Park (40 minute drive each way), we paid $US30 for 2 hours. We always experienced wonderful service and found the staff friendly, happy and helpful. I would especially like to thank a customer service lady who was from Bangkok. Sorry I can't remember her name. She started work at the hotel the same day we arrived (20 August 2014). She was like sunshine with her beautiful smile and excellent English. She seemed to always be working - I wondered if she worked 24hr days for the whole 5 days we were there! One time there was an issue with staff understanding our request to use the shuttle but to be dropped a few blocks before the usual drop-off point. The staff didn't fully understand our request but the Thai staff member was able to translate so they understood and were happy to drop us on the way. We had no issues or problems whilst staying at the hotel and feel very fortunate to have had 5 nights staying there. It was a relaxing and memorable start to our month-long travels.
Best Value Hotel in Vientiane”
This is hands down the best deal I ever received in a hotel in Laos. The sleeping system in my room was second to none and was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in my life. I want one for my home..The food was excellent, fresh and delicious albeit slightly more expensive than the surrounding restaurants...great tasting coctails and a nice breakfast.. Location was excellent and everything I needed was close by. The staff were excellent especially the girls at the front counter whom spoke great english and were more than helpful. They even let me feed the giant goldfish that swam in a guttered style pond that circumvented one side of the lobby, outdoors. AirCon in the rooms were great and although I had a few issues with Wifi signal, the staff rectified the issue and were most apologetic. I had a great workout in their fitness centre and took some nice photos from the rooftop pool and golf putting course. I will not be staying anywhere else in Vientiane when I return. This is definitely the place for me..
Clean and Comfortable”
No major problems. Internet connection worked fine, the room was clean, staff were pleasant. Only negative I can think of is the lack of signs at the breakfast - not sure what some of the items were. It would be good if the TV had some sort of channel guide, but these are minor quibbles. I'd be happy to stay there again.
Laos is amazing!”
Even the hotel is a little out of the city center, there is free shuttle to/from city center and to the airport available. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is very good and having the morning coffee outside in hotel´s yard was amazing. Laos people are very friendly with no exception of this hotel staff.
very comfortable stay, nice jacuzzi in executive suite, PC in room with good wifi speed, nice pool, very nice selection of complimentary items, the gym here is probably the best gym in vientiane, seriously if you need a decent gym during your stay in vientiane then you must stay here, location is a bit out but quiet at night and shuttle available if you not have own transport, very helpful staff, especially when changing booked dates after arrival

Nice and easy”
Overall I had a nice stay apart from the arrival - I was travelling with a friend and had asked for a twin bed room and we ended up with a double bed. It took over 30 minutes to sort it out (which would have been acceptable if I hadnt spent the last 12 hours travelling). Apart from that, the staff is very nice and helpful. Restaurant and room service are very expensive though for a city like Vientiane.
