comfortable stay , very helpful family ”
comfortable and clean bedroom, breakfast arrangement, helpful staffs
It is a family running guesthouse, they are helpful and friendly , you can have some chat with you if you wish. they helped a lot to organize tuk tuk to bring me around. the bed are comfortable and clean which is so important. they provide good homemade breakfast. i would like to visit again. just one reminder, it would be good to arrange pick up with them from the airport because it is not too easy to find the guesthouse even it is in the town.

distant from city attractions”
nice friendly staff, helpful and cheap price
The Yellow House is a nice place however too distant from main city attractions. In neighbourhood a lot of homeless dogs and cats, very bad access to the House. Mosqitos everywhere. Try to come back to the House before sunset.

Enjoyable stay”
Tranport provided by hotel staff, fast internet, great air con
The guesthouse forgot to send their tuktuk to collect me from the airport and the moto driver had some difficulty finding the place (which is down a very bumpy back road). I ended up having Tour from the guesthouse as my driver for two days at the temples which as fantastic. Staff unabke to organise ownward travel but tried hard to be helpful. Good to know money gies to a good cause.

Service with a smile.”
Friendly staff, outdoor seating area, clean room.
We found this on Agodo after being very severely let down by another guest house in town and were not disappointed. Staff are incredibly friendly and literally bend over backwards to make sure you have everything you need. Breakfast isn't included but you can order the night before exactly what you want and when you want it. Our breakfast arrived 5 minutes later than we'd ordered and the staff could not stop apologising! It's a new hotel so everything is clean and well looked after. The outdoor seating is a lovely addition and we ended up sitting there til 3am talking to other guests on New Years Eve. The hammock area proved especially valuable for nursing the inevitable hangover the next day! It is approximately a 10 minute walk to the main Wat Bo Road from where it is very easy to flag down a tuk tuk although the hotel tuk tuk service means that this is not necessary. The access road is a little bumpy but that just adds to the adventure. We didn't use the hotel tuk tuk for pick up but someone from the hotel came out to meet us when our driver got a little lost. Once you know the way, it's actually really easy to find, The founder, Eddie, is very friendly, has lots of local information and is always willing to help. I would heartily recommend a stay here.

Excellent training concept”
The hotel is quite new. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and the we really hope that the concept will be a success.
Enjoyed the stay very much, the only downside is the approach road and back street location, so make sure you take a Google map printout (hope the local authority fixes it soon!). Easy access to the Angkor temples and markets.

Great mission, friendly staff, far from town”
Staff really want to be helpful
The staff here really make the place acceptable. They really go out of their way to be genuinely helpful, and that is very memorable. They will help you book anything you want to do at very reasonable prices. They also have a tuk-tuk to take you into town and pick you up for just a dollar (if you are able to call them from town). The food at the hotel is also very good and cheap by western standards, though a tad on the pricey side for Cambodia ($4 for a large breakfast with coffee). On the flip side, the hotel has some major downsides. It is in the Wat Bo area which is a bit outside of town, but it is also on a dirt road that is VERY bumpy. The staff told me they are hoping the road gets paved soon, but until then it is a long, uncomfortable tuk-tuk ride. Also, tuk-tuk drivers don't know the hotel. They will act like they know where it is, but they don't and will drive around aimlessly looking for it or call a friend to ask for directions. The front desk has business cards with a map, but it isn't detailed enough for the drivers. It's best to remember how to get to the hotel and then you can help the tuk-tuk driver find it. Lastly, the hotel's plumbing cant handle toilet paper. That means you have to deposit your used paper in the bin next to the toilet otherwise you risk clogging the plumbing which could be a bigger problem. It's not that I haven't had to do that before, but for the price you pay for the room it seems a little 3rd world. Overall, the place is quite comfortable and quiet. The people are outstanding and although they aren't all on the same level of english speaking they are working on it and genuinely want to get better. Since the money goes to a good cause, it's hard not to overlook some of the shortcomings.
