Exceptional”
Our room was located on the second floor, though there was no lift we were assisted by one of their staff. The room was spacious and clean and it was so peacefully quiet during the day most especially at night so we were able to get a good night sleep. Boo and his brother were so kind. Boo was so accomodating and helpful during our entire stay in the reaidence. She would go her way just to be able to help us with our querries and requests.. Thanks so much Boo you made our stay in your residence enjoyable and worthwhile. Over all I would recommend this place for all who want to go to Bangkok. The place is great for family too.. will definitely go back to this place again.

Best hotel in Bangkok!”
I come to Bangkok every year for business and have been staying at this hotel for years now. I can honestly say that this hotel is a gem!! The location is fantastic, the rooms are beautiful and very clean and it comes with a great breakfast buffet. The staff are amazing and very accommodating. Bo, the hotel manager, is the best! I once forgot all my money in the safe and she put it aside for me and every last cent was there when I returned my next visit. I could not recommend this hotel enough!

Good Yesteryear Family Location”
For a family of four, the hotel is appreciably far from the bustling retail chaos (but still, a 80-120baht Taxi ride gets you there). Instead, the RR Hotel is near located to the original yesteryear of Thai-Style buildings (most directions, 1 km or so) which are a genuine tourist attraction. Democracy monument is on the doorstep - near, it is surprising how near. Taxi and Tuk-Tuk services are a 40-60-80 baht drive to the nearby Wat Temples. Worth the visit. The RR Hotel is likewise, nicely appointed to the traditional style: clean rooms and often with an unhindered sleep (Room 317). Breakfast is affordable. For travellers who'd prefer to be in the middle of it all, our time here was a pleasant home-from-home stay.

Great hotel and staff”
Great hotel for families with young kids. We booked a quadruple room (2 king beds). Facilities: clean, large room, basic amenities (shower gel, shampoo, shower cap) Staff: very helpful and polite Breakfast: simple with a few breakfast items and thai items ( same every day) The hotel is 10 minutes walk from khaosan road and 30 minutes walk from Grand Palace. Suggest buying a tourist boat hop on/off day pass for 200 baht per adult(there is a port by khaosan road) to hit the major tourist sites as each port drops you off at a major tourist attraction. Overall , great clean hotel for our stay.

Worth every penny spent”
The best part about this hotel is the location. It is very close to Khao San Road and many major tourist attractions within reach by walk too. Rooms were clean and the breakfast buffet was decent too. I would definitely recommend this place for tourists.

Nice hotel, not really close to attractions”
Stayed here on two occasions while in Thailand. Had nicer rooms the second time, the first the view out was quite limited. Large enough rooms, very clean, staff friendly and helpful and breakfast OK. Location neither good nor bad, not really close to any attractions.

Quiet and good value if you like to be in the old part of Bangkok”
We booked this hotel because we would like to be close to Kaosan Road. Good choice. Small but comfortable. The apartment type room is roomy and clean.

It was OK to stay here. The female staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. The male staff at the reception not really. If yoi have the room close to the stairs where everyone goes through, it will be noisy. You can here the people coming home at 4am really well.

Location is good for kho san road, down a dark back street. Dirty sheets, tv didn’t work but was rectified. Fruit flys everywhere No lift Very basic room Breakfast was awful, hardly any choice and hardly anything left at 9am .

Not clean. No lift. Smells stairs and passage all the time. Food not good and limited. WiFi did not work. Told the reception but they were helpless. Overall I wold not recommend this hotel for others. There are better hotels in the same area.

Nice place for normal price”
Our stay here was great. Stuff are very helpful and polite. Room is big enough for relaxing after Bangkok sightseeing. Have two rooms, one bedroom one sofa room with TV. Location is great so no problem rich activities by walk or grab a taxi nearby. Khaosan is from 5-7 minutes walking. Also few cafe is placed very near Thai and European cuisine. Ratchadamnoen Residence is highly recommended!

Large Quiet Rooms near Khoa San Road”
The Ratchadamnoen Residence is tucked in a alley off the main street, so was a bit of a challenge to find, but the hotel had given us directions, which the cab driver used. The rooms are really big, with a separate bedroom and a wet bar in the living room. The location is great, near Khoa San road and the Royal Palace. The staff was really helpful and helped us find our way around town.

We found Ratchadamnoen Residence a great value and excellent location. We stayed there twice for several days. It is just off a very busy area, and relatively quiet. Shopping, night markets, and a number of sights, such as the National Museum, are a short and inexpensive Tuk Tuk or taxi ride away - but also within walking distance for the hearty traveler. Good security and as older travelers, we felt safe and the staff was very helpful.
