House of Horrors”
House of horrors The photos and description looked great. It started from the moment we walked into the so called reception, where a group of men in various states of dress were hanging around watching a TV with the volume on max. We were shown to our first room when we entered the extremely strong smell of mould was hard to take forcing a reaction of covering the mouth, but before we could address that the lights kept blowing the breaker every time the hotel staff turned them on. We were left standing around while they tried to fix the fault, finally they decided to show us to another room. This also smelt of mould and black mould was covering the ceiling, green and black mould covered balcony and most worrying of all green mould on the bed. I thought the windows were frosted but they were just filthy like most of the room, sink did not drain and a very unpleasant smell from the plumbing and as for the bathroom mat it was simply disgusting. No hot water. There is no house keeping, the WiFi is slow to the point you give up, the whole complex is dimly lit and this includes the room as out of the three ceiling lights only one had a dimly lit bulb. The staff are the most unfriendly I think I have ever met in any hotel, and if you need to address a small problem with your room they pretend not to know English, but when hiring a bike and more money involved it is fluent, bikes not maintained with no brakes. Expansion works are taking place here which astonishes me as this health hazard of a hotel should simply be levelled to the ground. I have stayed in many thousands of hotels in my life and I consider this one of the worst in Asia, if not the world. Not recommended.

First of all , this was a very disappointing stay I must say. The moment ( sharp at 12 on 7th ) I arrived , the counter was clueless whether I reserved a room, and they were scratching the head to decide which room to be given ( very disappinting ) . I made a call on the previous day , still they acted as they dont have a room. Finally they gave a room which practically has a working AC but nothing else to be happy seeing. The bathroom was very primary one , no soap, only one towel provided for 2 , and look is completely different from the one in the agoda.com photos. The hotel doesnt have meals and canteen is very primitive. There is no room service telephone nor a room service person at all. We were given a room for 3 , with an additional bed when we requested 2 twin beds. The door was broken and can not be closed unless we lock it. the funniest part is , just by gazing at my phone screen for the reference number, the reception boy handed over the room key and thats it ! no check in , no record of payments not receipts , and even when we checked out , i just handed over the key and no receipt nor a proper check out was done. i do not believe , even for a lesser room rate , a hotel should behave this way . because if i forget anything at the hotel and return , I am totally a stranger to thehotel and i will have no access nor a gaurantee of customer security , care and hospitality.
