Find hotels near Rayong Beach in Rayong, Thailand

Beware all in this region is called Rayong. So we found out that more travellers thought they had booked on a different location! This hotel is okay, but the next village Phe where the boats are leaving for Koh Samet is also 7 kilometers. So this hotel is NOT on the island. It is on the very long strip of Rayong beaches (more then 20 kil). Beaches are lovely hotel realy on 100 meter. There is a busy road in between but this overall is a very quiet area. We where the only guest on the 20 kilm beach it seemed (July 2012): unbelievable. Further there is not much to do in the surrounding (apart from Koh Samet and the nice beaches in front of the hotel). Hotel is absolutedly value for money (we only paid 800 bath a day 2p room).

Very nice experience, an hotel in front of the sea in a fishermen village. Not so far from the city centre this hotel is a modern style oasis far from the giant luxury hotels of Rayong. Walk along the sea, eat fish and relax one day (or two) during the trip Bangkok/Koh Samet and viceversa, Staff absolutely kind and helpful, Bun the owner has a restaurant in the city and will be happy to bring you there, also bring you to the bus station and alsowhere you need, A very different staying, the Sabaidee Beach is a place to love day by day.

The beach and location are unbeatable. The building itself is very old, the pool is old and dirty and the elevator gives me anxiety. However the room is very clean and recently renovated. We had a great sleep and really enjoyed our stay. The hot water heater has no temperature control and is either hot enough to boil water or off. It would be great if a new shower water heater with temperature control can be installed. This is a very common problem in Thailand and even 4 star hotels seem unable to install correctly sized water heaters. However, it is still very annoying.

Nearly perfect. We stayed the day that crowded with people to join the same next day running event in early morning. Hotel extended the breakfast time to 12:00 and check-out to 14:00 as most of the guess just came back around 8 to 10 AM. This showed the care and emphathy from the hotel, without any extra cost to the hotel, or extra price to the customer but won customer's heart. The seaview room was fantastic, tv is new and big. Something to be improved are overall cleanliness, and the drainess of the shower part.

I booked a 2-star hotel and had no expectation, told me husband. The hotel I booked was a cheap hotel and nothing special. Then we arrived at the hotel. My husband complained me he didn’t believe I booked this hotel to this price. The room was beautiful spacious included new furniture with separated living area. Ok, bathroom was old, but clean and functional. We could upgrade to room with new bathroom for only bath, but it was not necessary. We could save to make coffee and enjoy some local food, we bought on the way, with the kitchen equipment in the room. 200 meters to long peaceful beach, you can walk along without to be disturbed. Also, we could drop in to a local seafood restaurant on the beach. Friendly staff, and breakfast was informed for a price of only 175 bath per person. We had a good stay after my husband was convinced I didn't pay more.

we stayed in luxury room and it was huge and clean.this property is a little walk from the beach but not really far ... maybe 200 metres. we were greeted in english by one of 2 dutch co owners .. the staff is reasonably fluent in english and a wide assortment of books and games are available for use and free wifi. great place for quiet stay. no road noise but is located among some deserted building which i think they are renovating eventually ... safe and clean and reasonably priced i will stay again on next trip to rayong

Quietly beautiful place with a very friendly staffs. Nice scenery of small wooden bridge, various types of trees and small canal in front of the pool. The room is ok, two or three persons can stay comfortably. Breakfast is simple like others resorts (American breakfast and boiled rice with pork minced). The car park is pretty small, in front of the reception, connected to the road. Around 4-5 car space available. This resort is not close to the beach but the scenery is good, suitable for the one who’s really need to relax and quiet environment.

They receptionist were great. The location of the hotel is perfect (entrace is on the main road and the rooms themselves are a bit far from the street you will not hear the cars driving pass by). Breakfast is avareage however, it's always the best to have breakfast with the nice sea view and feeling the wind. The price is reasonable. Buttom line is I recommend this hotel to others who want to visit Rayong.

We had planned this trip for over a half year, and spent quite some time finding our perfect hotel. Not only did this place meet our expectations, it outdid all we ever dreamed of, so we decided to increase our vacation from 3 to 4 weeks. The staff has been 100% dedicated and helpful with everything we need from day 1. Travelling with a baby and a 5 year old girl could be challenging in a country full of babyacs, but they made our oldest kid happy too, with endless attention. We have felt very welcome, and if we ever go back to Thailand, this is where we will go. Some comments on other peoples' negative reviews: No, there is no dirt road leading to this hotel, it's easy to get there with a regular car. No, it doesn't take 50 min from the pier, more like 15. With a moped with a sidewagon. 20 min in taxy to Rayong city. No, this is no place to go if tourist industry games or backpacker partying is your goal. If you wanna see the real Thailand on a local basis, and just relax, this is the perfect spot. Oh, and the breakfast is fine. The other food in the restaurant too. And there is no extra costs in the hotel at all except internet to the room and extra food and drinks.

The hotel is in a very quiet location on the beach but within easy walking distance to restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The rooms are very large and well maintained, the exterior of the hotel could do with a paint job, but is good internally. We tried both the restaurant in the hotel and local seafood restaurants, and were impressed with both. The hotel is within a very short drive to the business centre of Rayong and bigger shops if you want a break from the peace and quiet. At night the beach front is turned into a mobile restaurant with food stalls/carts and bars set up along a two kilo stretch, with everything on offer.

I took a long weekend away with my teenage son and had a great time. The room was spacious and had a great view. The Hotel is not advertised as 5 Star Hotel but it fell right in line with it's 3 star rating. We had a great time in the huge swimming pool and had a drive out into Rayong. Food was great when we ordered room service. I would recommend this place if you want some time out away from the madness. The beach is not so good but we did some successful shell collecting :-) Overall I had a good experience here.

Bay View Resort provided the perfect place for a few days get away. Located on the shore of Rayong, the resort is a harbour of peacefulness. The rooms are clean and spacious, and offer a beautiful view on the sea. We spend the night there with a group of three friends, and enjoyed the relaxing environment. Furthermore, the staff was very friendly and helpful, offering insights into the city and different modes of transports. From Rayong, it is very easy to access Samed Island and experience white sand beaches and azure water. I highly recommend the resort to anyone wanting to escape the high prices of Samed, and still live the resort experience. We all enjoyed our stay at Bay View Resort, and would love to return there.

Aaron and Bim was very kind to us and to our dog :) They did everything they can in order to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. I loved the fruits in Breakfast, the swimming pool, the room which was clean, nice decorated and had lots of books ( it's like you found a treasure - I found a book of Aaron in which he is sharing his experience from the Tsunami in 2004 ), the boxing training area ( they have different training classes there ) and the fact that they are close to 711 and to the beach ( My husband walked there the first time and ride the retreat's bikes the second time but you can use your car if you must ). Hope you'll find this place meets your needs also and enjoy.

We booked this hotel last minute because we just needed to get away on a budget. We felt so lucky to have found Purimas. The hotel is dated but kept in really good condition. The grounds a spectacular with soft green grass, a large clean pool, and private beach. Even though there was a large company event going on during our stay, we felt as if we had the place to ourselves. We feel it is a hidden gem so much that we have already booked a return getaway for next month.

we enjoyed our stay, Rayong resort turned out to be exactly as it appears in the internet - pictures are not exaggerated. we loved it. It quiet, there are not too much people at the beach so private and the swimming pools are wonderful esp for kids! staff was good and yes dinner was great - whatever we ordered was cooked well and the barbeque sea food even much better. we liked our room, we liked the blueberry desert cake, we loved the juice and we spent all day in the water jus shifting from the beach to the pool. Boat took us took us to Koh samet - saikiev beach and yes the Rayong resort is the best choice. sai kiev was extremely busy for us and just not friendly in a way.
