No refund - unexpected TDY military duty call”
We could not make it to the concert, and therefor not the hotel either as my husband was called to duty on short notice. He had to leave early Monday morning. I had tried to find a sitter but had no luck. So not only did we loose our tickets for the entire family, we also paid for a hotel room we never stayed in. While I understand this is not the hotels fault, neither is it ours. I had called an explained the situation but the person on the phone said they could not not charge us due to hotel policy. He was very friendly and just doing his job. He did mention if it were to be requested by someone else, he would be able to not charge me... well, we were and would never know, if or if our room was or was not rented to someone else as well.
