beautiful chalet style rooms in a lovely setting”
I was really surprised by this wonderful place, the reception staff were very friendly and charming to talk with, even helping a little to practise my Thai. The room was lovely and clean, with a good bed and clean bathroom. There was veranda to sit on in the evening before strolling down to the beach-front restaurant for a meal. The staff in the restaurant were all very nice and make you feel at home.My only disappointment, and for this I can't really blame the Regent Chalet Resort, was that during my stay here the swimming pool was being renovated, but the reception staff said I was allowed to use the pool of sister Regent Hotel next door. I will stay here again if I'm ever back in the Cha am area as the resort was well laid out, the room are good and the staff were great. I bumped into the two receptionists one evening, about a week later after I'd checked out, by the seven eleven in the village and they were both as friendly and charming as ever. Lovely people and lovely place. Just make sure you have transport or are prepared to pay for taxi's if you want to go into Hua Hin or Cha am as the resort is somewhere between both towns.
Lovely chalets in a garden environment”
we only had one night at the regent chalets but we'd come back again. the layout of the chalets in a garden environment gave the impression it was a smaller complex than what it is. we can't comment on the facilities as didn't use them. we only slept here and were golfing during the day. we can cope with hard beds, but be prepared they have the typical thai hard bed. it had a nice pool area and right on the beach. the restaurant was overlooking the beach. there was a good selection of breakfast food. the rooms are a generous size. you would need a car to explore the hua hin/cha am area. it's handy to many excellent golf courses.
Excellent choice for vacation ”
There's no hot water. Shower is just a little bit warm. It's quite cold in December. There's no wifi in the room. Only 3-hour access is available in public places. The surroundings are very beautiful though. The pool is nice, and the restaurant is just nearby the beach. Excellent choice if you just wanna stay in the hotel without going around. The location is not very convenient. It takes about 20 minutes to Hua Hin, which is more like the city center. There are many more places to go and more entertainment in Hua Hin than Cha-am. The night market in Hua Hin is particularly fun. Fresh seafood is everywhere at affordable prices.
Great location, private beach, lovely restaurant. ”
The hotel was not hard to find at all, it is located on the way to Hua hin. It took us quite some time to drive to the hotel from the main road, fortunately we came with car. At the reception, the staff were really friendly and we were served a welcome drink after that. Our cabins were not so far away from the swimming pool and the beach, only 30 meters away! We had the view of both the sea and swimming pool. The room is clean and quite spacious, I would rather recommend this type of room for a couple. The breakfast was excellent, there were diversity of food available. And the service deserved the thumbs up. T go to Hua Hin Or Cha-am from the hotel is not far away as well, I would say it is very convenient. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
A Firm Favourits”
We have stayed at the Regent Chalet for many years and still love it. The location on the beach is perfect and the free golf buggy to the village is a boon especially for the elderly. Breakfast on the terrace by the sea is one of the highlights of our holiday. A very good swimming pool which is essential as the sea at Cha-Am tends to be rough and shelves quickly. Unfortunately many people hog the bed-chairs by placing towels on them before breakfast and not using them all day preventing others from enjoying the facilities offered by the hotel. It would be a good idea if this practice could be stopped maybe by removing towels after 2 hours if not used. The Prince Regent gardens are delightful and well worth visiting, few people do, perhaps they are unaware that they exist. The only criticism is the the hardness of the beds in the chalets. Still one of our favourite hotels.
We came with our 4 boys aged 3 to 12 and were very satisfied & delighted with the room and facilies.”
Our room 6106 was at ground floor with 2 bedrooms & very clean., it feels like home. We had easy access to the pool, beach, and other facilities. All my 4 boys enjoyed the pool, playground, goal posts and the table tennis so much. Beach is nice we can play volleyball/ football we just love the ambience at this hotel as it is also full with greeneries. Such a delightful relaxing experience we wish we could stay longer. We had a fantastic time and it was a wonderful getaway for family with children. Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn’t serve halal food so we had to plan to trips to halal restaurant outside (the nearest is Cha Am city) and transportation fare is on the higher side for a 20-min round trip (costs 600baht). Otherwise, it would be perfect. I would strongly recommend this hotel to those planning for a relaxing vacation. The 3-hour journey to come here is worth it (but returning to Bangkok can be stressful due to the horrendous traffic). Keep it up Regent Chalet! Super!

Really nice place for family holiday stay”
Nice, tidy, and green environment. Not too far from main Cha-am beach and Hua-hin areas. Good value for Agoda's prices. The resot should be careful on accepting Chinese tourist guests as they tend to make noises during night times. Other than this caveat, this resort is one worth staying.

Quiet & chilled location.”
We had a lovely 8 days at The Regent Chalets & have booked a further 6 days at the end of our trip. The staff were very helpful & our special thanks goes to Kent who helped us book tickets to the airport in Bangkok when I was having difficulties .Location is good right onto the beach but because of the jelly fish we were not able to swim in the sea. The swimming pool was very nice though . A few beach restaurants & beach masseurs close by & it’s only a 10 minute walk to the village of Cha Am which has loads more. The hotel provides a shuttle tuk-tuk to the edge of the village if you time it right . Very much enjoyed The Family Restaurant with owner Renne & his brother Del .Real characters & great food. Terrific breakfast too. For a game of pool go & see Owen & Jeanna at the bar on the corner .
Thank you for having chosen Regent Chalet Regent Beach Cha-Am for your recent stay. We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback. It is very kind of you to support us against the negative reviews. It is a pleasure to read that you have appreciated our hotel facilities and staff service. Thank you for this nice comment. We will be more than glad to welcome you again. Best Regard, Regent Chalet Regent Beach Cha Am
Peaceful and quiet”
Our favorite place to stay in Hua Hin/Cha-am. Peaceful and quiet. Nice garden with plenty of birds, delicious breakfast. Have been staying there for many years; maybe time is coming for some renovations of the rooms and ventilation (in bathroom).
Exellent chalet and nature”
very green territory, pleasant staff, quite good breakfest with view see. the chalet is very clean, comfortable. the territory is great. the only weak point is quite far from hua hin (20 minutes by taxi) but very calm place on the other hand therefore it is worth to stay in the regent chalet. it is not a problem to take a taxi.
Excellent relaxing stay”
It is our 4th visit to The Regent Chalets, Cha-Am, so that is really a guide to how we like it. They are comfortable, clean chalets, very friendly helpful staff. In our opinion the food and drinks are expensive compared to other local restaurants and bars but this is normal with 4* hotels. We are seriously considering another stay next year.
Nice Chalet hotel, especially for families”
This hotel appeared to be one of the most reasonably priced hotels in the Cha-Am/Hua-Hin area that was right on the beach. What we liked the most was the location on the beach and the beautifully maintained gardens around the chalets. You can tell there was a lot of attention spent on this. I'm surprised how few hotels don't have dining immediately off the beach like this one. Since we were traveling with Thai friends who felt the restaurant was overpriced(it was), it was inconvenient to be so far from town/other good restaurants. Hotel lobby service was mixed. We asked for directions to the nature walk but there didn't seem to be any map of the area for them to show us where to go. Also, there is a little shuttle/cart that goes down to a minimarket that the hotel will pick you up at or send you. Long story short, if they don't say they are coming to get you immediately (or around checkout time) just walk back yourself and save the trouble. Restaurant service was excellent though and the rooms were cleaned well.
CLOSE TO SANDY BEACH CLEAN AND GOOD MANAGEMENT ”
VERY NICE RESORT,JUST A BIT FAR FROM BOTH HUA HIN AND CHA AM TOWN.JUST NEXT TO WHITE SANDY BEACH AND JUST 10 MINS ON FOOT THERE IS LITTLE VILLAGE HAVING LOCAL RESTUARANTS,SHOPS,SUPERMARKET,TRAVEL AGENT
Great retreat. Relaxing & warm. Cozy bungalow was tight for 3 of us, but we weren’t in the room enough for that to be an issue. Pool was wonderful — big & perfect temperature. Multiple seating/lounging options around pool & elsewhere on the property. We rented bikes during our week stay & enjoyed biking through the nearby village. Shuttle to Hua Hin was good, but wish taxi was an option the hotel offered, too. (Taxis in nearby village, a short walk away) Breakfast was good — lots of options. Wasn’t included in our room, but was probably a good deal if included (a little pricey if not). WiFi strong in lobby & poolside, but not in room. Would definitely stay here again!

we are a couple in vacation. the hotel is villa hotel almost alone on a very nice and clean beach. very romantic . dinner in the hotel were very testy and good. breakfast is standard. in evening there are nothing to do in the hotel. we had a rented car and bought our self drinks and had a nice siting in the villa balcony . at the other nights we used our car to visit hue hin and cha am. also there we found nice restaurants. on the days it was the swimming pool and the beach.
Charming Regent Chalet ”
regent chalet regent beach cha-am is a good alternative to holiday inn cha-am. it is cheaper and boasts nice chalets scattered over a green territory of the hotel. we loved the pool and the beach. hotel is exceptionally good for families with children, as it has a playground and a big shallow pool for kids.
Great place to stay for a relaxing holiday”
Really nice place to stay. Location wise, its in between Hua Hin and Cha-Am so easy to get a taxi to either place for the markets and shopping. You can walk to the village which has a few restaurants but is very quiet. Food good but also a few good reataurants along the beach, about a 10 min walk from The Regent.Great Christmas Eve buffet and entertainment !
Nice resort, a little bit old and could do with a renovation, but worth the money. Great swimming pool but very busy with people confiscating beds by putting towels on it and then leave. Not much to do around. Good if you just wanna relax for a couple of days but not worth staying if you are planning on doing activities. Far away from Hua Hin and Cha am centre/ beach is not worth having a nice beach day. Expensive private taxi's into Cha am and cheap well organized shuttle to Hua Hin. After one night on a really hard bed the staff helped us out with a nice top matrass, great service! Unfortunately no good restaurant within the resort, food is not too good and very pricey. Around the corner on the left there is a fabulous restaurant on the beach called Tortuga, amazing food! Overall a great stay and relaxing environment.
Thank you for your stays with us and taking the time to share your feedback. Your encouraging review will help us constantly improve our service and facilities. Again, thank you and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in next visit to Thailand. Best regards, Regent – Chalet Hua Hin
Good resort for relaxation”
A lovely resort with a beautiful garden, great swimming pool, friendly staff and on the beach. The included breakfast was extensive with a chef to prepare omelets or scrambled eggs, plenty of choice to suit westerners or Asians and responsive staff. Our room within a chalet was comfortable, reasonable size, clean and air conditioned. It was nice to sit in the restaurant open air area with a view across the sea. You do however as it was half and hour from Hua Hin and 15 minutes from downtown Cha-Am. Recommended for couples and families
Excellent bungalow retreat in relaxed surroundings”
We spent 10 days here with two small kids and it was a great bungalow village, clean and well maintained with high service levels among all staff. The restaurant is good and located right by the beach, altough overpriced. There are several great options along the beach and the roads outside the hotel which we went to instead. The bungalow was large and clean and the surroundings was very nice with a true Thailand surrounding with lots of trees and flowers. really nice Place i would highly recommend for a relaxed stay away from the Tourist crowded places in Hua-hin, which is jsut 15 minutes away with taxi.
