      Nice enough hotel conveniently located”

      Convenient location, good restaurant

The hotel is located on Regent Park and within easy walking distance of the Royal Palace, the National Museum, and a popular stretch of the waterfront. My room was perfectly adequate, although a bit dark. I found the restaurant very good.

      Great Location with Old Rooms”

      Location, Friendly Staff, Nice Lobby

This hotel was adequate. The location is great, right across the street from Hun Sen Park and not far from the Royal Palace and the River Front. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only criticism is that the room I stayed in seemed old, worn and in need of renovation. The price wasn't bad, especially for the location. I would recommend it to somebody who wants to visit Phnom Penh who doesn't want to spend too much money, but doesn't want to stay in a guesthouse either.

      Great staff, location, and food”

      very kind and friendly staff
Even the delux room I stayed, I found many little ants. If you leave your food out, you will find tiny ants on it.

The hotel was located right across from the park in front of the royal palace. There were number of restaurants around, tuk tuk drivers waiting just outside the gate all the time to take you around the city, though you need to negociate, the drivers were gererally generous and trustworthy. There is a travel agent right next to the hotel which made my trip to the beach and Angkor very easy. The owners were really sweet. Everyday, I used internet there. There are number of computers with Skype, international phone call, and more. It was so much cheaper to use computer there. I think it was like 25 cents an hour or so to use the computer. The staff at the hotel was really kind even when I had to leave the hotel at 4am to attend my friends wedding. The break fast is complementary and it is prepared after you order the meal from the menu. The food was really delicious! I would go back to the hotel again for this price.

.Location, staff, early check in for my family, late check out for me.

Our stay was ok as this was a family get together, and an opportunity to show my family some of the history of the city, visit Phnom Chisor temple and see the harsher aspects of the city. Dine in a fine French and Vietnamese restaurants and enjoy fair priced wine and cocktails. The only disappointing thing was the malfunctioning water heater in the shower that the service man didn't fix properly

clean, spacious, quiet rooms, good, basic facilities, good value

My usually reliable hotel choice failed me”

Still good service by good staff

Regent Park has been my choice for several years but now, as the renovated top floor is fully booked with long-stay guests, only the lower floors are available and these rooms need a serious upgrade. Air-conditioners leaked, made roaring and rattling noises all night and I got little sleep. As this was a business trip, I needed rest at night but on saturday, there was noisy work with drills and jackhammers and this whole trip was 50% of what it used to be. WIFI was impossible!

The plaza on which the hotel fronts

small hotel with personalized service. all the rooms dont face the front plaza with skyline of wat botun across the plaza. its location is ideal for sightseeing as we just walked down to the grand palace and silver pagoda complex. the national museum is north of the palace. to the south one can walk along the plaza and turn right towards the democracy monument. a variety of restaurants including indian ones are along this stretch.

      Location
      No free WiFi

When we arraived there was some confusion about the number of people and the corresponding number of breakfasts. We booked two rooms - a twin for my children and a double for me. The hotel interpretted this as 2 rooms - 2 poeple so we had to pay for the third breakfast each morning - bizzare yes, but that's how it was. The service in the breakfast room was good but incredibly slow despite the fact that there were only ever a couple of other people eating there. If you are in a hurry or have to take a plane or a bus, have an early breakfast.

      Smell of the room

My visit was to renew a visa at the Thai Embassy. I chose this hotel because I've stayed in the $15 hotels in Cambodia before and wanted something a little bit nicer this time. The lobby and resteraunt were very nice. My room smelled bad though. I don't know which was worse, the original stink or the cleaning products they used to try to cover it. I just opened the window for a few minutes when I got to the room to let it air out. The room had a fridge which was very cold, good AC to keep the room cool. Lots of channels on the TV. The staff helped me get a pizza delivered. There is a mini mart and lots of restaurants near by.

Room was large, a/c worked really well in 2nd room

the staff really tries. the made-to-order breakfasts are a treat after innumerable buffets. the first room with a lovely view on the 5th floor did not have a strong a/c. the second room on the 3rd floor had a much better a/c and no view, but the 3rd floor is being renovated. i did see one possible cockroach, but the staff sprayed the room twice for me. the tuk tuk drivers were very good, helpful and cheap. if they did not know where i wanted to go, they found someone who did, including a catholic church.
