This hotel is just 5 mins walk from Nagoya City Station. It is close to all transportation including city bus, JR, express bus and subway. Room price is good for value when you book in advance. we booked a triple room and was assigned on the 19th floor (reception and spa on the 18th floor). Nice view of Nagpya city on this high rise buidling. Staff are friendly and helpful who speak fluent English. Room is not too spacious but reasonably sized. Hotel is surrounded by good restaurants. Afterall, it is highly recommended and we would come back next time.

+: This is a 3-star hotel with 5-star like service and facilities. It is arguably the best hotel I've stayed in during my trip to Japan (we went to 5 different cities.) Check-in and out was smooth (check-in @ 3:00 PM/ 15:00) Rooms were spacious for Japan, as most hotel rooms are generally small. We booked one room with 2 double beds, the beds were a bit on the hard side but pillows were comfy. There's a large flat screen tv, with modern wood countertops, two armchairs and coffee table. Kettle to boil water and drinking glasses are provided. Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The bathrooms were very nice and well appointed with new and modern appliances (if you want to experience Japanese toilets, this hotel has the Rolls-Royce of toilet; gotta see it to believe it.) Separate rooms for the toilet and the powder & shower room with plenty of towels both small and large bath towels, toothbrush kit, hair dryer, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner, hand/ face wash combo provided. - : None.

The room was a surprise as we expected a small room which is normal in Japan but wow. Layout was well thought out, as the bedroom is separated with the entrance / bathroom area, where the shower, toilet, and sink are all separated as well. Great idea. Bedroom itself is huge, the size of a normal room inclusive of bathroom at other hotels. Clean as its a fairly new hotel, free shuttle to Nagoya station in the morning, free Ramen late night, its own spa / small hot spring. Positives goes on and on. Amenities are basic but that's what the franchise is about, so it will never be a four star hotel but it is probably the best three star hotel you will stay at, given the location is only one station from nagoya station by subway. All in all this will be my only choice in nagoya and look forward to trying their other premium locations, saw that they just opened one in Seoul.

We booked a small double bed non-smoking room. The room and private bath are clean as is the rest of the hotel. The room has just enough space for two person. It's very easy to find. From Nagoya station you can take the elevator outside the JR sakura dori exit gates to the higashiyama subway line gates. There's an elevator inside the higashiyama line gates to the platform for your luggage. Alight at fushima station (higashiyama line), take the elevator at exit 10 to ground level, walk two blocks to the right towards fukuokaginko bank to hotel wing. The hotel has a restaurant and is near to 7/11 shops. Staffs are polite and helpful. They've let us leave our luggages for storage after check out for a quick tour to Nagoya castle. From fushima station, take the higashiyama line to sakae station and transfer to meijo line to shiyakusho which is the nearest station to Nagoya castle. From Nagoya station you can take the meitetsu line going to/from chubu centrist.

I happened to find this hotel when I was trying to book Marriott. Since we were just going to make a brief stop in Nagoya before going to Mie, we finally booked this one because it is cheaper than Marriott. It turned out to be a good choice. Everything in the hotel is brand new. The room is slightly bigger than those regular business hotel rooms, with not only a bed, and a table, but also a small soft bench by the window from where you can see the fantastic view over Nagoya. The bathroom is spacious too (I really hate unit bath :P). The hotel is directly connected to the Nagoya JR station, on the 15/F of the JR Gate Tower. There is a couple of convenient stores and a Starbucks outside the hotel entrance. The building has express lifts taking you from the hotel to the restaurant levels directly. If you don't feel well, there is also a pharmacy and a clinic (maybe more than one) in the building too. As a business hotel, there are not many facilities to expect. But I did spot a small fitness room in the next to the reception. Overall, this is a perfect stay with good value for money.

Awesome hotel with fantastic view of Nagoya. Really loved waking up to the awesome view I had in my room for the 2 nights there. Although room space was pretty small and limited, the toilet was spacious and very clean. Staff were very friendly as well. Location was fantastic, close to train station and many good food areas. Very convenient and there is a restaurant just beside the hotel selling good japanese food at rather cheap prices. Best part is that it opens very early and closes till late (5am ~ 2am). Overall, a really good hotel in the heart of Nagoya.

The room is small as expected of a typical Japanese budget hotel. Overall hotel and room is nice and clean with bed that is comfortable to sleep in. We like the pillows as it is half soft and half hard (buckwheat) so you can choose which side to use (we prefer soft so we are happy that we do no need to request for one). Breakfast buffet is good and has variety but I do not think it changes everyday. Hotel is near Nagoya station (5-10 min walk depending on your capacity) which is 1 train ride to Legoland Resort and Chubu Centrair International Airport. We booked this since it is almost half the price of other nearby hotels and we think we got our money's worth.

If you don't have a car and would like to travel by public transport within Nagoya, this hotel is the best choice! The hotel is located just above the most central station in Nagoya (i.e. Nagoya station!). From airport there is an airport express (called Mu sky) taking you directly to Nagoya station in 25-30min. No other way of transport, not even taxi, can beat this. Then the hotel is right above the station. The train station is the biggest I've ever seen. I've lived in London and HK before and never seen such scale. For surroundings you can just get the subway or taxi, for further you can take the JR train, for far like another city, you can take shinkansen which is also there. even you don't want to travel anywhere, the station itself is actually full of shops and restaurants. there are so many to choose from you don't even need to leave the building. and also if you go up the tower above the station, there are nicer restaurants and even fine dinnings. Just across the street, there is also an underground shopping street. Such well thought development and big scale infrastructure has made this place the most convenient place in the world. I still have not mentioned that the hotel itself is very nice. Staffs service is extremely good. if your room includes breakfast, you can actually choose to have it in your room too, which so many hotels no longer do anymore!

The hotel itself was fine and staff were very nice, The price included clean pajamas which got changes as well as the bed linings every day. The price also included breakfast. The location is within the walking distance to many central attractions of Nagoya, also very easy to find places to eat. The only thing stood out was the rubbish on the pavement outside of hotel (nothing to do with the hotel). Japan being such a clean country, it was unusual to see any litter normally, but for the 2 days we stayed in this hotel, the street where the hotel was covered by a lot of litter, which was a shame. For that reason, we can not give it a 5 star for location.

Lived in this city, Nagoya, for over 5 years. Lived in Nishiki itself for 2 of those years. What Red Planet Hotels has accomplished here in Nagoya is something just short of miraculous. Staying in Japanese hotels is always an adventure--many things are different as the culture and expectations are different. Red Planet has developed a hotel that takes what Pacific Asian cultures expect and North American culture expects and created an amazing hotel. 1. BEST SHOWER EVER!!!!!!!!! 2. High speed internet. 3. A great breakfast buffet. We're talking hotcakes, soft omelettes, variety of coffees, teas, vitamin drinks, fresh croissants, and Japanese options such as tofu, miso soup, and so on, in a lovely dining space that is very clean, and actually has two staff members waiting on you. Unbelievably low priced at 1 thousand yen which is about ten US dollars, I stayed about an hour just enjoying the meal. 4. Fantastic personal AC, friendly staff, everything brand new. Just go there!!

The room were clean and tidy. Its a little older in style compare to some of the newer hotels but the bed was comfortable, and the sofa provided a good area to rest after a day of shopping and sightseeing. The bread in the cake shop was wonderful and great for breakfast. The cakes weren't too bad either. The curry buffet is to must try, and was so good that the staff couldn't keep the kettles fill with curry before it was empty again. The concierge was very helpful in giving us directions to the best places to go, and some of the way places. In fact, the service throughout the hotel was exceptional.

I stayed here for one night. The best score is the price, size of room compare to the same price hotel. The hotel locate near the shopping street. There're lot of parking lot nearby which cost you around 1,000 - 1,200 yen/night. The cleanliness is 4 stars because the dust in the AC is noticeable but room is clean overall. I booked smoking room type(no non-smoking left on that day) but there's no smell of smoke at all which is really great for me.

From Nagoya station, cross over the main road running parallel to the station and keep walking straight along the main road. Once you see Junku-do book Store, walk straight ahead until you see Family Mart. A slight turn to the left at Family Mart brings you to the entrance of Royal Park Hotel. The hotel is not exactly the easiest to locate and it takes about 10 minutes from the JR Station. Booked a double room on the female floor and was quite impressed with the room! Bed was comfortable and hotel provided Loccitane toiletries with Shiseido sheet masks in the bathroom! They also provided the Panasonic nanoe hair dryer and nano facial mist machine. The décor was the room was tasteful and I felt that the female toiletries provided were very thoughtful! Wifi was freely available in every room and signal was strong. Breakfast consists of both western and Japanese selections and they were very delicious! Fresh fruit juice including acai berry juice, vegetable juice, orange juice, coffee and tea was also available during the breakfast buffet. Next to Family Mart is a staircase leading down to the underground shopping mall and it connects to the Meitetsu train station, subway and JR lines. Look out for Exit U10 when retuning to the hotel. It was a comfortable stay and the hotel has free spa as well for guests.

It was very excellent hotel. Once you arrived all staff give warm greetings and the lobby atmosphere also very nice. All staffs are able to speak in English. They help us a lot for our special request, to bring a pet, they were searching the way how to solve this problem since the hotel doesn't allow to bring a pet. After they tried their best, they told us that there is a pet hotel that not too far from the hotel and they book the pet hotel for us. Same thing when we were about to depart to the airport they checked the easiest and cheapest way to go to the airport for us. Also they have complete list for good restaurant around the hotel, we tried 2 of the restaurants that on the list and they were very delicious. And also the hotel price is very cheap if you compare with the luxury stay that you get, the location and superb services. This is my first time staying in Tokyu hotel, but if there is any more chance, I will definitely stay in this hotel again

We used our stay at Lamp light books hotel mainly for a day of rest and sleep after a busy and tiring first week In Japan. It was perfect for this as our room had a gorgeous balcony and view of the park and the room itself was extremely comfortable and much larger than other rooms we had stayed in so far - especially the bathroom. The room provided pajamas, toiletries and tea making facilities too. The main lobby and cafe was cute and stylish and a wonderful place to have your morning coffee. We also loved the idea of being able to read books from the lobby although we didn't take advantage of this ourselves. The only Down side to our stay was that we were charged for wanting to check in early even though the room was ready. This is the first time I have dealt with this in my experience with hotels as usually, if the room is ready you are able to check in and go to your room. It was only 1000 yen per hour but we didn't agree with the principle. Late check out charges I can understand. I would highly recxomend the room with view for the extra money as it made such a difference to the enjoyment we got out of our stay.

The hotel provides free drinks from 5pm to 10pm. Juices, tea and iced and cold coffee and cocoa (van houten). The breakfast is good. Its the same daily. Japanese and western. Croissant is one of the best. freshly baked! Try the unagigohan- eel with rice. the crabmeat croquettes are also good. They only have orange, grapefruit and lychees for the fruit selection. Try the salad-potato salad is really good and tasty. The dressing- 3 types, japanese, chinese sesame dressing( very good) and cesars. Its quite a distance to magoya station about 10 mins. Yo can turn left at the first intersection if you are going to meitetsu station. its a shortcut unlike if you pass by nagoya station. There is a Lawson beside it and Matsuya restaurant. The room is small about 17 sqm but the bed is queen size. The bathroom is heated so its nice to use the toilet especially during winter. You wont get shocked:-) Bathroom has amenities like shampoo, conditioner, bath and body soap and hand and facial soap. They also cotton buds, toothbrushes and paste, shaver and cream, scrub and some stuff for women which they give you on your arrival. There is also drip coffee in the room as well as tea. Water is not included. Nice bathtub and they have trouser press, big tv and heater for the room and plasma air cleaner. Will definitely stay again if given the opportunity. God willing.

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. Aonami line can get to the hotel without getting out the skywalk, convenient. If you are familiar with the road, walk to Nagoya Station will only takes you like 10minutes around. It’s a new neighbor and close to Aichi University, a young and vivid area with new hub and restaurant. Hotel receptionists are all with good attitude, even helped me to book restaurant. Facilities are brand new since this is a newly opened hotel on December 2017. Willing to stay in this hotel again and hope the price rate will be the same. It’s very lucky and wise that we didn’t choose to stay at Mitsu Garden Hotel which we had a short stay in Kyoto in Mitsu, small and old facilities.

here was the best budget hotel I ever stayed. Room was clean and bathroom was comfortable and clean. Everything is around this hotel. pharmacy next to hotel is better than donquihote(cheaper and quite!!). There is more than 2 family mart, starbucks, famous restaurants around hotel. Airport bus stop is just 1min from hotel. If I visit Nagoya again, will stay here again definitely.

Pros: Own room, own toilet/shower with toiletries including shaver; same size as other hotels but space seems to be maximized better. Tully's and Family Mart are downstairs. Just at the exit (#2) of Sakae station (no escalator though). Just across tax-free shop Don Quijote. Best of all, friendly and English-speaking staff. And it is in Sakae, of course - Oasis 21, shopping, bus terminal. As a bonus for booking via Agoda, I got free bottled water. Cons: Exit from train station can be a hassle for those with big and/or a handful of luggage since there is no escalator. Minor suggestions: Probably add a hand rail in the tub for getting up easier. For better eco-friendliness, separate trash bins. Sorry, I just left the emptied water bottle on the table. :(

One of the best in location when staying in Nagoya. Staff members are very friendly, and quite a number can speak English. Value-wise, the rates are very reasonable at the time I stayed there. Accessibility may be a concern though especially for travellers who bring huge luggages, as you have to take an escalator going up to the hotel's front desk entrance. Other than that, there is nothing much to complain about. I will definitely book here on my next trip to Nagoya.

The hotel is just diagonally opposite the Meitetsu Department store. Exit the depratment store from level 1 and look for the spiral buiding. The hotel is just nearby. The room was clean and well-equipped. I booked the cormorant fishing on the Kiso river in Inuyama through the hotel. The staff helped me print out the map and gave me clear directions on how to get there from Nagoya. There are coin-operated washing machines on level 6 and there are 2 eateries and a Lawson just below the hotel. There is also a 100yen shop and a drugstore opposite the hotel.

Hi the location is good, just exit from shinkansen direction from the station, then you will see a 7 11 shop, walk to the left and turn right at the first corner. There are quite a few restaurants nearby. The only thing the hotel service can be improved is that the pillow is a bit hard and small. Hope it can provide two pillows with different options. It's clean with an open view. There is a small table in our twin room when you can have a drink with your friend by the window :)

New hotel. Room small but clean. Metro station within walking distance. Public car park nearby. Staffs attitude good but fair communication in English. Due to different room design, although same type of room booked, my family members' room look smaller. Although my room size is ok, but the washing basin outside the toilet is a little bit inconvenient. Bath gel and shampoo tried with no allergy. Towels clean and without smell. Pillow a little bit hard, mattress and blanket ok. Boiling kettle and cups are clean. Housekeeping ok.

Just right at the nagoya station that connects to shinkansen, subway and tour buses. I went for a 2d1n alpine route tour which departed from the carpark opposite the hotel, booked via Japanican (very good and highly recommended!). The hotel staff is very friendly and efficient. Self-collect your amenities. Breakfast catered, served by yoshinoya next door only 4 choices (salmon, beef bowl, beef meat and ham+egg with rice) but it's good enough for me.
