A short drive (2 minutes, can also walk) from the best snorkeling site in Aqaba, the Japanese garden and several others. Amazing coral reefs and lots of fish close to shore for the whole family to explore. About 20 minutes drive to town for lots of affordable food options which is not too bad if you have a car. Restaurant food seems a bit overpriced so we didn't have ...

We stayed at the Golden Tulip Hotel for 3 nights in May after booking on the internet through Agoda. It was a good choice for us, the location in the centre of Aqaba proving ideal. The restaurant is good , and there plenty of other restaurants nearby, including a 24 hour cafe . The hotel has a swimming pool . The room was comfortable, with excellent ensuite facilitie...

This place is near to the beach (Japanese Garden, Gorgon I , Gorgon II, Seven Sisters and The Tank - http://www.aqabasanchor.com/#!divesitesinaqaba/c1z4z ), where you can sunbathe, snorkel or dive. There is also diving club so you can do some fun diving without any certification or you can make some PADI course or just use their diving service. The restaurant of the re...

Me and my family spent more than great time, the price is reasonable according to the facilities and the level of luxury. The resort is full of magnificent pools, you cant feel it's crowded even if the hotel is fully booked. There are play activities all over the hotel, you will never get bored there. I didnt like: The lobby was so hot, it is not well conditioned ...

I was informed that Agoda did not managed to book me in the hotel and thus my booking is not reflecting in their system. I have to wait for quite sometime specially when I arrived there are plenty of guest checking in as it is a weekend. One thing I have consider is that the timing from the place I came from is one(1) hour earlier than in Iqaba. This is due to daylight...

This place is amazing and the have a nice an clean beach but they have two things they should improve it, first is the room service, the room is not clean and at the time I called the room service to clean they didn't show up until I saw the attendance outside and I give him tips to clean my room, the second thing is the breakfast is so bad , the fruit is caned not f...

Modern and clean hotel in an Ideal location. Decent sized comfortable rooms. The building itself is always clean and smell fresh. This is my 2nd time here eventhough I had booked with a 5- star hotel, I couldn't resist but to cancel my booking and return to Golden Rose. After all 'if it isn't broken; don't fix it'. Plus it was less than half the price-leaving more for ...

Our stay at Al Qidra in Aqaba was great. After a long international flight the staff made me feel welcome and gave me a room to rest in until my deluxe room was ready. The room was really large and comfortable and perfect for a romantic stay. The breakfast was lovely and tasty. The hospitality was above and beyond my expectations, the front of house looked after our ev...

This family-run hotel is well located for cafes and restaurants and just a short walk from the beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Please be aware that there are rooms with sea view, rooms with balcony and rooms with neither, but there are no rooms with sea view and balcony. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The hotel can help to arrange di...

We booked to stay at Kempinski Aqaba for 1 night in January. We had wanted to pamper ourselves in a 5-star hotel after living it “rough” in Petra and camping in Wadi Rum on preceding nights. We know Kempinski is a 5-star hotel but the hotel’s service and décor is way beyond our expectations! From the main gate entrance where our car was checked right until the time ...

We stayed 2 nights in Wadi Rum desert camp, and loved every minute. It was clean and friendly, service and food were excellent, and the desert itself was pristine and utterly mesmerising. We did a half day jeep tour which we loved, it really gives you a feel for the quiet and stillness and breathtaking beauty of the place. And stepping outside the tent at night - wow, ...

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days. I have to say that at the beginning we did not like our room. It had no window and there was some smoke and noise coming from the corridor. When we asked for another room we were moved to a triple room. It was such a difference! Spacious, light, airy, very quite. The location of the hotel is very good. There are plenty of shops and c...

This hotel has best location in Aqaba. We were just arrival sunset time and there are beautiful sunset in Aqaba bay!!! We were just run to beach area to spend sunset time even we didn't check in yet, hotel workers smiled and let us do it. It was amazing time to see such a beautiful sunset. Hotel is very nice quality service and setups. We had very nice guide and car fr...

Extraordinary experience Bedouins are warm and welcoming people and gladly shared their life style with us. My arrival in the evening was well organised and once it gets dark you see a million stars in the sky! Awesome The big communal tent was very social and warm. Great food - book the dinner! - and then there was even dancing and a communal walk under the star...

We chose the hotel according good reviews from others and did not regret of the choice. Somebody may prefer bigger hotel but for those who are not against B&B concept with corresponding reasonable cost this place is definitely best choice in area. The hotel is located on the South Beach so you have to use either your car or taxi to get there. The nearest beach is pu...

I stayed here for 2 nights alone and needed somewhere quiet as I was sick, staff were very helpful when I needed to visit the hospital and then rest. Tv had movie channels, bathroom was brand new and bed was very big and comfy. McDonalds will deliver to your hotel room :) There isn't a whole lot to see in the city and the big hotels have blocked off the beach so you ne...

Jamal and his brothers were very nice and helpful. Jamal was in touch to ensure he was there to meet us on arrival to Wadi rum. Jamal waited for us at the checkpoint for over an hour and drove us to the camp. We got to stay in a nice, clean and cozy tent with a great view, and we got to enjoy a nice dinner cooked the bedouin way. The camp is in a perfect location wh...

Met with Shakel at the guest house location in the village prior to heading out into the desert. Reviewed our options and selected what we wanted to do. Good clarity in communication and no pressure. Very fun day in the Jeep. Be prepared for “cold showers” and being in nature - it’s really nice camping - consider it that way. It’s not a 5 star hotel - and that is why t...

The people who own this place are really very friendly people and the location is good as well, you can walk up to the beach in about 10 minutes. There are also several diving places in the same street. The thing which shocked us the most is that they made a new pool but not for swimming...... They plan to put dolphins in the pool later this year.... It broke our he...

I really wanted a simple experience, not glamping. I got that, but a little more staff attentiveness would have been useful. This is like a Bedouin hostel. Tents are basic and adequate...bed, light, electrical plug. Walk up a sandy hill to meals, Bedouin foods served buffet style. After dinner a campfire and music and STARS! No indoors areas except tent and bathrooms. ...

I visited the Bedouin camp with my son, age 14. We spent 3 nights, which was almost too short. A four hour jeep tour and the next day a three hours camel drive. Eghab, the owner, is amazing. Native Bedouin, young, very easy to contact and fluent in English. He organises everything you wish and even found a camel driver who was prepared to let us ride our camels oursel...

We enjoyed two-day trip here seeing the desert and experienced Bedouin life here even my husband hurt his nose on the way of the Jeep tour. After getting hurt, Salameh sent us to a medical center fast to get first aid. Then three staff help us to 2 bigger hospitals after the policemen’s search in Acraba city for detailed check up from afternoon till night, being with u...

Everything was really nice. Hani (owner of the camp) is very kind. He and his colleagues provided us with everything we needed. Also these guys can arrange for you tors in Wadi Rum for affordable price. That was a really good experience. Highly recommended

When we arrived to Wadi Rum, we learned that this desert camp no longer exists, but the host was very nice and offered us a few alternative options, from which we chose to stay the night in the desert at his grandmothers little camp. It was a really authentic experience with delicious dinner by the campfire and sleeping under the stars.

Mr.Salem , his younger brother and Mr.Neil who take care of guests are very good. The food and toilet facilities are average. There are only two toilets. So more than 12 persons will find this inadequate. The rent is reasonable , but food and other services such as sunset camel ride and desert drive are very very expensive. I booked on the basis of rent for tent but f...

I normally dont write reviews, but this one certainly deserves one as it really exceeded my expectations. It is a small family camp site at a great location. Nadjah will get in touch with you to organise pick up and transport to the desert. Tents are super clean, there is a wifi and hot water in showers (I am not kidding). They also offer jeep tours that I can only re...

The room was clean and comfortable. Nice air conditioning, and a lovely balcony high up over the street in my single room. The manager was friendly and knowledgeable, and allowed me to come back later with cash after I didn't have the correct amount. Located in walking distance to most of the nice restaurants in town.

Pleasant stay at Ziyara Inn. Big rooms. Kitchenette is useful if you want to save money and cook some of your own meals (cooking equipment is variable per room, ask for items and they will retrieve for you.) Hot water in shower. English channels on TV :) Nice staff but very limited (to no) English. You'll have to get a translator to help (another hotel guest perha...

Upon arrival, the staff will serve you a welcoming drinks. Unfortunately, the manager was not there when we stayed. But he even talked to us over the phone to welcome us and told us whatever we need just tell him. They have a jeep tour for 2 hours or 3 hours and camel ride in the morning. Breakfast and dinner is included in our booking and it was delicious. When we lef...

I sty in Rahayeb camp with my family and kids for one night, it was a great dessert and wild experience . the camp guys already prepare all of our need, at the afternoon time we went to a safari trip in 4x4 cars to see the best sunset ever, and at the night we spent the time on a very nice party. and the diner called zerb was prepared in arabic style and it was very de...

I arrived and was told that this camp does not use Agoda, the listing was placed without their knowledge, and I would have to pay again at the property. This seemed fishy, but I went ahead and paid again, and then called Agoda about the problem for a refund. The camp is now telling Agoda this is not true, and trying to collect both payments. I also found that the ow...

We really enjoyed our stay at Doubletree Aqaba. The hotel deserves its stars and commendations. When I booked I was a little concerned at the town centre location rather than the coast, but having been I now think that being based in the town is an advantage.Lots of restaurants nearby,a short walk to the local beach, and castle, and a regular bus to the private beach if yo...

Had a great 2 night stay at the Tala Bay Residences. The room was new, and very clean. The facilities were great, lots of pools, a great beach club with delicious breakfast, shops & a nice beach. It feels very much like a resort. Only downside is that the rooms are a little far from the shops /Beach, so it's a bit of a walk (10-15min). Highly recommended

The hotel is very nice and clean, but a lot of hiccups made our stay quite annoying. Upon arrival we had to wait for more than an hour in the lobby to check in, we kept being told to wait "a few minutes more" while people who arrived after us were being checked in. The staff is very nice but not trained to 5 star service: ie they kept getting our orders at the restaura...
