Where to stay in Al Jizah Governorate
Al Jizah Governorate hotels & accommodations
Excellent hotel in a lovely setting right on the Nile - beautiful views - we could see the pyramids in the distance from our bed! Many of the restaurants, bars and the pool are right on the river's edge. Breakfast was the best we had in all our travels in Egypt. The suite was very spacious and comfortable with top quality amenities and two balconies overlooking the ...
Reception staff told me to book through website because it cheaper then .. they told me that still they didn’t get the information from reservation desk .. after more than one hour of complaining i found out that there reservations desk close @ 6 pm .. i was arrived 7:45 pm .. even though i was giving them the recipe i got it from Agoda through my email .. very rude st...
I spent a weekend in Cairo and wanted a bit of comfort. The Conrad has all the luxury of a five star hotel if location is not a priority. It is about 10 blocks from the Egypt Museum and the centre of town. The hotel is right next to the Nile and the "Nile view" from your room is spectacular. But you would have to take a taxi to any of the major tourist sites in Cai...
This hotel is located right in the center of Cairo. Forget the news reports: It was very safe to be right next to Tahrir Square as of December 2013, and frankly, as someone who has been to Cairo many times, this was the most quiet I've ever seen the city. Now is the time to visit. There was literally no sign of political unrest while I was there. About the hotel: I...
The Novotel Cairo El Borg Hotel has a perfect location in Al Zamalik Iland. It is very near to Al Neel River. You can find any service you need near to you.
Rames Hilton is located in heart of Cairo. It is closed to Egyptian Museum, Khan al khalili, and much more touristic places. Breakfast also very good, they have special juice section, so you can have fresh juice.
It is remote and feels far from everything and hotel feels gloomy and dark. Tge furniture is old and worn out. I ended up booking at the Hilton for 1 of the 3 nights I booked even though I had a place to stay for 1 of the nights at al masa hotel. It's also lacks vibrancy. The ambiance in the Hilton was z lot more vibrant and lively. Will not think of staying here agai...
I had sooooooo much trouble looking for the hotel. The local taxi drivers (not just one of them but a few of them) have no idea where the hotel is... One of them kept telling me that there is only two hiltons in Cairo, and we had to go to all two of them before we've finally arrived at the right one, the Cairo World Trade Centre Residence. When we arrived at the other ...
overall a solid hilton hotel. everything is up to standard and what you expect for a 4 star hilton hotel. breakfast good except the lack of real bacon(same thing all over egypt, pork a bit of a no no). as a swede i especially enjoyed the smoked salmon which was really good. staff really nice and good as you would expect, the only nice people i met in whole of egyp...
I love how modern and new this hotel is. It truly has the five star quality. The rooms are huge too and the restaurant has a lot of delicious food especially the freshly baked bread - kh so yummy! The gym was also great!
Really nice experience, everything is historic, and the amazing museum is just behind the hotel, view of nile river made me one of the best memories in Egypt.
I booked nile deluxe room and when came to the hotel I was told that my room is not nile room, it is madina room and that what Agoda had booked for me. I showed the reception my online booking confirmation but didn’t work the hotel advised me to contact with Agoda. After contacting Agoda customers service which is for justice very cooperative and helpful but slow and ...
This is considered a very high end hotel by Cairo standards. If you are used to five star hotels you may be dissapointed as the cleanliness and service are not up to western five star standards. It is a beautiful building from the outside, and even the courtyard is beautiful, but the rooms are a little run down.
I was in wrong impression that cairo dosent have good hotels to stay... i was wrong... the place was the best... The apartment was fully equipped with the latest technology ...Very friendly staff...One of the best part was the connectivity to mall and other hotels...Very lively place to stay.. In the evening time they had Refreshment food which was dam good... Really a...
Hotel has the best location, I strongly advise to chose a room with view to the pyramids. Breakfast was very good, as well as dinner. Overall ambience is nice and relaxing. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Our daughter got sick and they allowed us to stay until 15:00 (check out is 12:00) so she could sleep it out, without any extra charge. Kids pool was a bit too...
among the few hotels in 6th of october, novotel is relatively inexpensive yet it location is superior in comparison. 15 min walk to mall of arabia & 10 min away from local shops if you want a true egyptian buying experience. as will most hotels there, internet cost a lot. about daily. you can bring you laptop to the lobby if you want free wifi though. the free br...
Pros they are all polite, professional and friendly. The rooms are clean and hotel is brandnew. Food is also superb they have lebanese and chinese restaurants. The breakfast is fantastic. Mix of American and Mediterranean.
Great hotel, great rooms, great food, great service. good facilities....... You will not be disappointed, I had the best Sushi and Indian cusine for a long time.
I am glad that i chose this hotel as i was hesitated to chose between the next door hotel.i arrived at 9 am in the hotel and the front desk gave me my room even i before 2pm.it could be because on monday, if on weekend i might not have a chance.the room was fine, i did not expect the room to be lavish even it stated 4 stars. I stayed for a total of 6 nights. I took a cab from the airport. I was charged 250 EGP. I suggest getting online and booking an Uber ride (it costs less than 200 EGP). You can buy a local SIM card at the airport for 200 EGP. Well worth it as it is cheaper to take Uber than regular cabs in Cairo. Everything with the hotel was fine-- strategic location, good (changing) ...
It's first time to stay in this hotel. it has mall next door and every thing is ok for me except its far to downtown of old cairo such as Al-Jeezah and Al-muhandseen areas.
I chose the Golden Park Hotel because of its proximity to Cairo International Airport. It's a budget priced hotel ten minutes away by taxi or Uber. The room was decent: not too small, and the air conditioning worked well. Satellite tv afforded a number of options. The breakfast buffet on the top floor with the outdoor veranda was quite nice. The neighborhood is safe if...
i would like to thank all the staff i n this hotel.it is one of the best hotel i ever been.breakfast and location were amazing.i did not face any problem.shopping center is nearby the hotel. if i have a chance and vist cairo,i will stay in this hotel and that for sure inshaa allah.
Clean, as expected of the Holiday Inn chain. Not too sure about it's location, but traffic jam is everywhere. The room itself and the people/service is awesome.
I booked the room surely with breakfast included.. hotel charged me for breakfast.. other than this it is really good hotel
The Le Meridian has a lot going for it. Beautiful location overlooking the pyramids, a great pool and spa facility, and easy access to the pyramids. They were also helpful to let me leave my bags there overnight when I went camping in the desert (which request they initially refused). The dinner buffet was average at best and unremarkable in any way. However, our ...
I stayed here 5 nights and it was good value for money! * The hotel has a boutique style charm - it’s basic but very comfortable. * My room was spacious and clean - I would recommend a room with a balcony. * Location is great - 5 min walk to the museum, 10 min walk to the Nile. * Staff are very friendly and accommodating - they helped me organise all my tours over e...
We stayed at this hotel on the first and last night due to our flights next day. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to & from the airport however should you wish to be fetched from the airport, the hotel should be contacted directly (this needs to be improved as there was no communication from the hotel in respect of early check-in, pick up etc despite me sendi...
The shower flooded instantly, but they fixed it. I'm still surprised the cleaning people weren't aware of it. Can schedule airport shuttle in advance or wait for it at the airport. There is a Kiosk at the airport. Lots of restaurant options- foods from different parts of the world. Egyptian restaurant outside with live music--order the grilled pigeon- not the stuf...
Fantastic hotel, attentive staff, amazing breakfast! we stayed here for 2 nights and the close proximity to the pyramids was extremely handy. The hotel has great facilities and the rooms are amazing with views of the pyramids! it was the best value for money hotel I stayed at throughout my travels of Europe and the middle east, so much luxury for such an amazing price!...
Cheap places to stay in Al Jizah Governorate
The place is pretty hard to find since it is in the 10th story of a normal house (no worries, there is an elevator). The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and will try everything to translate whenever the two staff members who speak very good english are not around. The rooms are clean enough, spacious and the view is out of this world. Make sure to take a room...
really enjoyed this place even just for our very quick overnight stay, delicious breakfast with jam, baguette & egg & great tea. Check in quick & easy so we could get to visit the pyramids as quick as possible on our short stopover
it was a wonderful trip and very kind people,
I can't imagine having had more help during our stay in Cairo. Our flight and bags were delayed but the hotel sent a taxi driver who waited patiently for us (at 3 am!) with a great car. Dia recieved us warmly upon our arrival and was happy to accommodate a few requests right away. After serving us a delicious Egyptian breakfast (falafels, pita, beans, greens and tea!...
It is a good hotel for save your mony and good location
After Reading all the positive feedback I felt like I was making the right decision Once my mother and I got on location and went to the rooftop our mouth dropped. That’s when I knew i made the right decision. the feeling of the whole place and rooftop gives you an experience that you never forget. I was initially going to book at the Meridian to have comfort and poo...
arabian nights hostel in islamic cairo area is perfect if you want to avoid downtown midan tahrir area (protests/ demonstrations). the hotel is literally 5-10 walk to the khan khalili market and the al muizz st where you can do a walking tour to see a lot of amazing complexes, mosques. it is also across the street from awesome koshary restaurant! rooftop is lovely to h...
i recommend the cairo city center hotel to everybody who wants to feel the impulses of the real egypt and cairo. than hotel is really in the center of the city, you can reach every tourist district in minutes. however except from the hotel we didn't see any tourists. the tharir square and the egyiptian museum is about 1 minute far by walk and we can go on walk for sh...
they offered lots of advice and helps during our staying, convenient to go most places in Cairo.there is a kitchen in public area, breakfast is fantastic.
Busy district of downtown Cairo, you can feel the vibe of Egyptians. Street markets are nice and the party goes on late at night. There are a couple of bars nearby. The hotel is fine for the price. Elevator is old but working. Everything else is working. Real friendly staff.

As you know, choosing a hotel is a personal thing, for me I picked the best hotel based on location, mattress type in my room and the very nice restaurant and the swimming pool. I have booked a room based on the most beautiful views.
The Design Of This Hostel Is Excellent. Very Comfortable Feeling And Unique. Also, The Staff Were Extremely Courteous And Helpful.Clean Room And Fresh Toilet And Professional Tour Desk To Book Any Trip To All Egypt,This is Very Great Experience In Milano Hostel. I Higly Recommended Milano Hostel To All Traveler
Old and creepy building
Hotel Royal is location in the Al-Borsa area in Downtown Cairo- it is right at the heart of Coffee and Shisha Cafes, filled nightly with lots of Egyptians from all walks of life- great for people watching and getting to meet locations. That said, be prepared for a less than quiet stay- but you dont really need that if you're here to experience Cairo. The location is gr...
I recommend this hotel for any friend like to have a cheap and good room at the center as it was very easy to reach the Nile , Mussem and down town shopping area . the staff were honest , friendly and useful for the tours informations as Mr/ Haitham their manager knows how to arrange your vacation for a good price .
I booked the hotel for 1 night to check if good to extend and upon arrival I found very good value for a stay for this price and stayed the rest of my nights in Cairo at this lovely place , recommended !!!
I had a funny experience, coz when I arrived at the hotel, I was walked to another hotel in the neighbourhood. The place looked like a normal flat on 6th floor, that had been converted to a hotel, but the staff was nice and the internet worked fine.
Good location, best view of the pyramid Eslam is the best! He will go out of his way to assist his guests. Very hospitable and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Food is great. Will surely recommend this place to everyone. I love Cheops Pyramid Inn!
Not a good stay actually this is old to me, but location is ok staff easy and friendly but English are not that good. I won't stay here anymore for sure and I think you should look for others around.
really near the egyptian nacional museum and tahrir square. easy access to khan al-khalili (less that 5 minuts by taxi)

This hotel is a decent hotel for the price, and it 10-15 walk to the british muesum and the posh side of Cairo. However this Hotel is located in a dirty part of Giza. Forget about every other category. if you are mesmerised by the pyramids and the sphinx, as I am, this hotel has the best location of any hotel in the entire world. Sitting on their rooftop breakfast area is a priceless experience. In addition to that, the staff and management of this hotel is 5 star good. Helpful, they don't push things on you, free ride back to Ca...
This was my best hotel experience in Cairo. The hotel was really clean and comfortable, staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating, the buffet breakfast was excellent. We chose to stay in Zamalek as it is regarded as a safe and secure place in Cairo. We were not dissappointed. The hotel sits along the Nile and we booked a supeior room with a Nile view. This hotel saved my life from a taxi driver from hell. Long story short, hailed a taxi from Downtown Cairo, and what was supposed to be a 15 min drive turned out to be a 2 hour "city tour". No amount of screaming at the taxi driver helped, and having a GPS in my hand was only a painful reminder of how much time i'm wasting. Only after the meter hit a 100 pounds was...
I have to say Mr Wael is the best, he always did more than I asked for. Other staff were also very nice and helpful. I made 2 mistakes - booking 8 days for the hotel before I planned my itinerary cause went to aswan and luxor in between. And also paying more to be upgraded to the Nile view. The staff and owner are very accommodating and friendly. The location is very safe and convenient. The atmosphere that the marble tiles give really add a special feel. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. I'll also mention the great antique building. Cairo heart is very clean, bed and pillows are comfortable with beautiful bedding. I transited Cairo about a month ago without a confirmed hotel booking. I spent a miserable couple of days at a hotel close to the airport. Hotel itself is Undoubtful. If you are looking for rest /golf or waiting for flight, location is great. But it is near airport so it may not be the best location for tour
The hotel is not near anything in particular, however, I will still highly recommend the property. The staff is top notch, as is the property itself. Great gym and pool. Amazing beds, rooms, dining options... Everything you would expect from the Hilton except the price(due to the location. I will certainly stay here again on my return to the city.
The receiption staffs were very friendly and tried their best to get the room for what customer expected. Fantastic service seems to be the common theme for Four Seasons Properties in Egypt, and the Nile Plaza was no different. We were blessed with fantastic service, great food, and stunning views of the Nile. This is THE place to stay when in Cairo.
