Nafplia Palace Hotel is the perfect place to stay to escape the busy hustling and crowded island locations. You feel like you're in your own private villa with amazing views of Nafpio and within 2 minutes you can be standing in the main Nafplio Town Square via the hotel lift. The team at the hotel were all wonderful and made you feel like the hotel was your own home. Well done Nafplia Palace Hotel, 5 Stars at it's best.

The hotel is conveniently located in the old city, so it was easy to walk everywhere, while still being hidden away from the hustle and bustle. (Of note...Its up on a hill with a lot of stairs, so if you have knee problems, this may not be he spot for you). We had a great view of the town from the balcony of our room. The room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included with a nice selection. The owners were kind and always ready to help - the whole staff was altogether excellent! We really enjoyed our stay at the Marianna and would stay there again!

This is not a grumpy review but to clarify what does not appear when you book the family studio : room is in the basement (with 2 windows at street pavement level), ventilation in the bathroom + toilet system are more noisy than an Airbus at takeoff, there is hardly enough cuttlery for breakfast and any guest from the pension using the staircase above the room will wake you up so no late sleep... Having said that this is really good location and despite the presence of a large carpark in front, it is a quiet area. So it' s a matter of knowing your priorities !

Excellent location at the center of it all, excellent view of Palamidi from your private small balcony, historic building renovated yet true to the original, located exactly across from the spot of the infamous assassination of distinguished statesman Ioannis Kapodistrias. Room has all amenities, AC, minibar, etc. but not particularly luxurious - but you won't want to be in your room too long in Nafplion anyway!

The hotel is situated in an old style Greco-Venetian building. There is no lift so I suggest packing lightly and leaving the rest in the car. Place was safe. The room had a little kitchen but didn't have view. The view was on the opposite balcony which I believe other hotel members can use. The furniture was simple and at that price one can not complain much. The staff members were polite. i didn't eat there so can't judge them for that. If I was to return to Nafplio, I'll probably spend some more and stay at the Grande Bretagne or better yet, the palace on top of the hill.

Naflpio is a city rich of history with great views on every turn. Beach, bars, restaurants are all in reach and as a person who has travelled most of Greece i strongly really recommend it. The hotel was really impressive...modern rooms, friendly and warm staff, ample parking available and just a 5 minute walk into the centre with lots of authentic food options along the walk to the centre. Will recommend it to all ar home to visit and stay at this hotel

This was a great location right on the main street and near the water. We walked to shops and historic sites within 5 minutes. Nafplio is beautiful and the Acronafplia right in the middle of town. The owners were very responsive and friendly. The town had shut off a main water line by accident, the owners were quick to learn the situation give realistic timelines and provided bottled water. Great value, I would definitely stay again.

Comfortable & friendly family managed hotel positioned well in the heart of Tolo. We come for 1 night and decided to stay one more night as the hotel gave us everything we needed. The room was nice with comfortable double bed, balcony with a view of the sea (3rd floor), free Wi-Fi, a big desk for my computer. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The stuff was very helpful... I needed an electric plug converter (for my computer) that they did have - So they want to buy 1 for me. In one case we bought some cherries in a near by shop - and the one of the stuff took it from us to be washed and brought it back in a nice dish. So... nice hotel, good location, nice people, defiantly a place to return to !

Pension Isabo is a quaint old house with a cottage like interior in the heart of old town Napflio in an excellent location. It has a well stocked kitchenette with a sink, kettle, and coffee makers but no cooking facilities. You can help yourself to tea, coffee (instant, Greek and filter), cakes, biscuits, fruit, and crisp bread with spreads and cheese for breakfast or anytime. The owners run a shop underneath and they were very friendly and helpful. We were closest to the street/pedestrian shopping square and there was a little noise but nothing to worry about. Everything was clean and comfortable and the internet was great. Overall a really charming place in an excellent location. We definitely recommend it.

I'll get the negative out of the way first: I stayed in the single, so it's the only one I can comment on (others might be different). But the room is quite small, and the shower is so tiny that it is barely able to contain even a smallish person like myself. But I rate it highly because the location is perfect, it is quaint and has an old (in a good way) vibe to it. The bed is very comfortable, and everything is clean and well kept, with nice windows that open out to the narrow alleys. Michael, the main guy there, is a kind gentleman, very helpful, enthusiastic and attentive. Breakfast is nice. It's really just the size of the shower that holds it back, but I didn't mind it so much. Great place to enjoy Nafplio!

Pension Dafni has a homely feel to it. We were impressed by the chambermaid - pleasant and hardworking madame. We liked the fact that it's tucked away in a quiet lane away from the main thoroughfares of Nafplio, yet it was less than a minute's walk away from the bus station. It would be nice if a small kettle could be provided in every room, rather than guests having to depend on the staff to open the pantry room just for us to boil a pot of water. Breakfast was prepared by the chambermaid - ham & cheese toast, orange juice, coffee, tea, bread, butter, jam, cakes. Basic stuff but good enough for us. This 'hotel' shuts its doors after 1130pm; all guests upon check-in are given two keys - one for the room and one for the main door. Guests returning after 1130pm will have to open the main door themselves to get into the pension.

From the moment we walked in the door we loved the Klymeni house. We visited at Christmas time and felt right at home with a Christmas tree next to the fireplace. We had everything we needed equipt with kitchen, living room, & bathroom downstairs. Upstairs had 2 bedrooms, another bathroom, and the best balcony with beautiful views of the area. The host helped us order pizza when we arrived since it was late and we were too tired to try out the restaurants in town. He also gave us a guide book for the area which was most appreciative. Palamidi Fortress is very nearby and the Theatre of Epidavros is not far either. The sites were all closed during our stay due to strike but we still enjoyed the area and the town of Naplio. You would need a car to get here as it's on a hill above the town center but we prefer the location over staying in center of town. If I was in this area again I would stay here again.
