I definitely enjoyed my time here. The owners/managers are really fun and do their best to show you a good time. Its a very social atmosphere with people hanging around the pool. Be prepared for a long walk from the boat, but if you hire a wheelbarrow its not bad. I'd recommend staying here

A very strange experience that caused us to leave the same night.

The hostel is located in a great location, in the heart of all the action. I arrived and the staff greeted me and immediately made me feel like home. On the internet i was charged $33.15 but when I reached there it turned out to be $70.00 per night. For that price I could have stayed at a 5star hotel.

Stayed for one night in Praia do Forte Hostel. The hostel was really clean and well kept. Enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere there, with hammocks to relax, clean kitchen to cook, and good breakfast. Even though the hostel is not located next to the beach, the location was good. It took like 5 or 10 min to get to the beach.

If you need something for one night close to the airport this will be OK and has a decent connection for bus travelers. The bed is OK and the air-conditioning is working yet noisy. We were in Caetite for 3 days for birdwatching, and stayed at Porto do Sol. It is very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. They have a laundry service, and breakfast starts at 6.30am which is earlier than many hotels and good for birdwatchers.

This was a decent option for an overnight stay. Room was clean and comfortable, though internal (no windows). I think probably all rooms may be like this. We were a few rooms back from reception, but the noise from breakfast preparation and cleaning started early, around 6am.

The light in the room was broken. Then they fixed it after asking twice. At first there was no hot water. After complain they fixed it. They didn't give us any blanket. Then we went to the reception and took it by ourselves. In my opinion they didn't prepare the room for guest before our arrival.

The hotel is ideal if you have an event at the Conference Center. It is also opposite a shopping center. However it is far from the beach. Staff does not have second language skills and restaurant menu is quite simple

I was there for a few days to do some business. Therfore the location of the hotel is very good because it is very central. all things one need ist quite close by, like restaurants, farmacy, shops, lanchonete. The area is quite nice around and seems safe and quiet. The view from the hotel to the bahia de todos os santos in marvalious.

Location is excellent,very close to the Pelhourino. You do have to negotiate a local road to reach there that is not the most pleasant, but we had no difficulties even after dark and there were always tourist police at the Pelourinho end - just follow advice and don't carry obvious jewelry etc. Room a little small but functional with reliable hot water and supercharged...

very nice family run Pousada at a very cheap price considering the area is very expensive. The breakfast is also very good. the room was large in size and could of easily slept 4 people. the garden is very nice.

Accommodation had a colonial feel to it and was very clean. Our host was very welcoming and although she did not speak English we could manage in our basic French which is much better than our Portuguese! We scored down because of the whole breakfast experience ... Hospitality you expect a smile in the morning ? If not a good morning / greeting in any language ! ... Everything seemed too much trouble for the lady at breakfast ? No bowls or milk for cereals .... An effort to refill coffee pot ... Maybe a TV or music for some background in a room with now Windows and echo...

Lovely stay at Aconchego. Short walk from the bustling street but in a quiet enough area for a good night sleep. The breakfast is very good with the essential eggs, something hot, bread, lots of fruits. Friendly staff as well. Rooms are slightly on the small size but sufficient. Good to have the option of AC and a ceiling fan.

Excellent, Staff provided verry good Information about things to do in and around Itacare including tips for trails to prestine beaches that otherwise would be hard to find. The appartement was brand new and absolutely great! As if you weer sleepdienst in the jungle ...

Amazing view of the ocean, with fantastic sea breezes. Very helpful staff. A short walk (on hot sand!) to the beach. Some reasonable simple restaurants and grocery store nearby. A great place to stay.

ok, but because it is a family run hotel, it do not tolarite girl friend from outside, and most of their client are brazilian family.so single should stay out.

The room was looked a bit different than the photo, but was comfortable enough for sleeping. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast had a good variety of food, but was half empty both days I arrived, not to mention all the tables were filled with dirty dishes. I think they just need more help during the busier times to keep up with demand.
