Best hotel in Bali. I felt really special and welcomed by staff. Staff welcomed us with flower garland while entering the hotel. Staff were really friendly, helpful and always smiling. I booked this hotel because both rimba and ayana have beautiful pools , restaurants and priority access to rock bar. Being the guest of Rimba we were given the best seat at rock bar. I would highly recommend this hotel. I cannot thank enough to the hotel and staff. We checked out at 12:00 but we had flight at 20:00. Staff allowed us to stay at the hotel and use all the facilities. This really made our day.

We stayed in Bali for 10 days, and stayed in three different areas and hotels. Ayana is the best one. The price more expensive than others, but we thinking it's value for money. We do enjoy the time we spend in Ayana. Nice resturANT, Good breakfast, a lot of choices. THe rock bar just located in Ayana, so you don't have to wait. The staff in Ayana very nice, friendly, and professinal. The room is nice and clean. Beatiful view from our room, even in raining day. The spa was good, very relex. We think Ayana will be the only hotel we will stay when we come to Bali again. After Ayana, we have changed to another 5 star hotel in Ubud, the hotel in ubud is also good, but compare to Ayana, Ayana liked a 6 star hotel in Bali.

We stayed for 4 nights with just my mum and myself. The hotel does cater for families but was also fine for other travelers. We had no problems at all during our stay and the location is great... The pool area is nice but I have been to other Bali hotels that are nicer. Staff at checkout were a little rude speaking to each other for at least 5 minutes in Indonesian while walking around with my credit card, we stood there not knowing what was going on. The staff at the restaurant for breakfast were very efficient and friendly. You also have to deal with ugly Australians at the pool bar, we watched one man yell and chastise his young son constantly until the boy ran off in tears.... We didn't bother spending much time at the pool because of the yobbo behaviour. I am a 6th generation Australian and was quite embarrassed by the behaviour of these people... The hotel is great, but I wouldn't recommend going during Australian school holidays.

Best location in Kuta. Close to everything. The staff are friendly and helpfull. The room is standard but very clean and confortable. I've stayed in Kuta before and Hard Rock Hotel (HRH)was the first Hotel in Bali with a decent breakfast. But what really become highlighted in HRH, of course, is the Rock'n Roll atmosphere. The Center Stage is the best bar I ever went. I'm going to Bali in June again and I'll stay again at HRH. I strongly recommend HRH!

We have stayed in couple of hotels in Bali and really did some research, the Inaya is far the best hotel in nusa dua in terms of money value, great clean beach, service is not to mention excellent, room with pool is highly recommended and breakfast is diverse and just incredible. For example, hotel next door is st. Regis(where presidents stays ), using the same beach therefore the location must be great. First we booked 3 nights and than decided to stay 3 more and after visiting Ubud ( must see jungle town- in hotel Udaya, great hotel) we went to Kuta, Seminyak booked 3 nights and were vary disappointed with the dirty beach, so we went back to Inaya to go home with great memories from Bali.

We stayed nearly a week at this beautiful resort. It is very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and the beds are great. The balconies are super to sit out and listen to the waves break in the evening or at night. The pool overlooks the beach, as in the pictures, and the beach is directly bordering the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. We have seen better breakfast buffets in other Bali hotels, but it is still very decent. Value for money? Depends on the rate you get, but you definitely will be staying in a very good resort and you will be able to relax perfectly.

We celebrate our anniversary in Mantra Sakala with our daughter. They upgrade us to suite room. Our room was clean & beautifully decorated. From kitchen, bedsheet, pillow cases, bath tub, shower, toilet, towels are clean. I am very picky with hotels, especially with their cleanliness. The Bed is very comfortable. They have huge pool, and my kid had lots of fun in the pool. They also have kids club with extra charge. However, it's not way more expensive than other kids club in Bali. I think it's reasonable price. The beach is just across the hotel, with many beach activites. The staffs are helpful and friendly. They smile when you talk with them or ask them questions, which is a plus, because lately is very rare to find hotel employees with that kind of attitudes. Definitely this hotel is customer satisfaction oriented, different from other hotels that are only treating their guests with $ tags on the face. Mantra Sakala is one of the best hotels in Bali. We would definitely come back.

the staff are fantastic and helpful. always smiling and willing to assist. the rooms aren't huge but the shower sure is. good little balcony also. the view from the ocean facing rooms is excellent especially if you are on the 4th floor. it is also really great to have free wifi that works well. breakfast is probably the best i have had at any hotel in bali, and i have stayed in many. the pool is lovely and the pool service is also very good. this hotel is a fantastic place to stay and is in a great location. being able to walk out to the beach and take the path north to kuta, instead of having to walk on the busy street is a nice, safe and relaxing way to get around. it is located next door to one of the best shopping centres in south bali. as centrally located as it is, it is still far enough away from the party zone of north kuta / legian, which is an area we are not interested in. love staying at the kartika and highly recommend it.

we hadn't been to bali for 15 years. kamandalu is the bali we remembered. to ubud centre but worth it to be away from the bustle. the rooms are so good most people stay in them, so it feels like you have the resort to yourself. the service was so good it felt like we had the entire staff to ourselves at times - especially in the restaurant where the food was excellent. we have stayed in many resorts - we do not hesitate to highly recommend kamandalu. (be careful at tourist hot spots like nearby best rice terrace view where vendors have become aggresive. and skip kuta entirely to avoid ruining your holiday with a bad impression of what some of bali has become.)

TS Suites is our last hotel to spend our night in our recent trip to Bali. Before, we have spent a night in Sofitel, a luxury hotel. However, we concluded that TS Suites is also a top hotel in Bali. Located in strategic place, TS Suites provide unusual added value service to the guest. It has a free minibar (soft drinks and bars of kit kat) which is refilled every day, an all day breakfast (so you won't have to wake up early just to cash in your breakfast coupon). It has two pool tables in entertainment area as well as library, internet, and children play ground which is free. It also has roof top pool, bar, and gym. and it operates 24 hours. So basically, TS Suites is a hotel which follow your needs, not you who follow their rules. Room is okay, great design with recent sliding door trends for bathroom. for the size, even the lowest tier, TSand is quite broad and convenient enough for two people. Bathroom can be improved though. The rain showers system can be improved because when using the hand showers, waters still sometimes drops from above. Housekeeping staff should be more incentive in cleaning the floors and the edges. It is a brand new hotel (which is opened in 2014) so it will still look clean. However, the challenge will be on next years and on. A good hotel should be seen whether the bathroom is clean and rust-free or not.

If you're looking to stay at somewhere quiet, away from the bustling Kuta or Seminyak, yet near enough to restaurants, with a couple of activities to do nearby, this is the perfect place to be. We tried all their restaurants and find no fault in either the food or the service. The staffs are helpful and friendly. We were also elected "guest of the day" and was given a complimentary dinner at Cucina, their Italian restaurant. We redeemed this on our first night and what a pleasant dinner we had. Food was amazing! The hotel is also very near to Bali collection, a set up with many restaurants, both local and western food, shops selling various souvenirs etc. It was less than 5 mins cab ride which only costs is 40,000 rupiah each way. The theatre is also just next to Bali collection and we had no regrets going for the Devdan show there. Or if you're a beach person, you can even stroll along the beach, which leads to Bali collections. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and will return!

Beautiful hotel, amazing views. Pool area was stunning, clean and lovely staff ensuring everyone was looked after. Room was a bit stuffy on arrival but opened the door and got the breeze blowing as well as staff lighting lemongrass oil burners. The smell disappeared after a couple of hours. Food was lovely, large servings and good value. Massages were wonderful but western prices so that was different from some other hotels in Bali. No need to go anywhere as each day was beautiful and evenings watching the sunset on the cliff were wonderful. Some renovation going on which wasn't really intrusive, the loudest thing was the water truck with pump going every afternoon but that was only at the back of the hotel. No problem with Mosquitoes as the breeze was great. Spa on the deck was lovely watching the sunset! Bed was huge and very comfortable room, always kept clean. Beautiful resort.

It was our third trip to Bali. It is very convenient location for closer distance to ubud centre. It sets on the beautiful rice terrace near small creek to show panoramic scenery. All the staffs at visesa hotel are nice and friendly. We are very to happy to stayed there and recommend it to others. They haven't finished all the resort facility yet but I would like to visit again when they settle it. I joined morning yoga class and the instructor was the best one I ever experienced in Bali trip.

Top of the cliffs at Uluwatu Bali. We decided to stay at Alila as my wife is 5months pregnant and thought this resort would cater to our needs fully. We were not disappointed. The villas are contemporary with views out to the ocean. Well appointed won all the mod cons and Very private. The staff are Servise orientated. Meaning hey really want to do there very best to make you feel cared for. The food is 5 star and amount the best we ate in Bali. The Wurung especially. I would return and recommend to anyone who is deserving and does not mind paying a little extra for this kind of Servise.

There are a lot of really nice things about the W but there are some downsides too. The good: The interior design is very well considered and we appreciated the details. Rooms were excellent, the communal areas were breathtaking and very ... 'cool' (horrifically general word but I think this is what they're intending it to be). The pools were nice and the restaurants were pretty well designed also. The best thing was the sunset - breathtakingly beautiful! Room service was reasonably good also, once or twice they forgot something but on the whole it was above par. The bad: The concierge "Whatever whenever" never worked - it became a joke that "whatever whenever" meant that they'd do whatever they felt like whenever they could be bothered. I think this was mostly because they were so understaffed that random staff trying to help jumped in and confused everything. Next, the outdoor areas are badly designed and tiny, for a hotel this size it needs at least 2x the outdoor space to function at a 5 star level. We found ourselves always messing around trying to find available poolside space as if it were a nasty 3 star all inclusive resort. There were no private places however I think if you take a villa you get some garden area but no beachside. The cocktails are totally watered down overpriced for bali. I know that this is an international grade hotel however the drinks to standard as you'd expect globally but were priced about the similarly Lastly: there wasnt really anything balinese, which was a huge shame. Bali is such a beautiful place-attitude, culture, art & craft, it would have been nice if some aspect of this was incorporated -this hotel could have been anywhere in the world as nothing of Bali really came through. Don't be put off, if you're looking for a place which is beautifully designed, beside a beach (where you cant swim) and amongst other premium grade hipster wannabes then this is really your home.

Let me start with our best compliment for the staff at the royal santrian. They are amazing, we always greeted by name. The staff always make sure all of our need is accomodated. If you love privacy and personalized services then this place is for you. The complex not quite big like other resort such as mulia or hyatt they have only 22 villas and the service is very personalized more than you can expected. When we check in they gave us the villa that located quite near the hotel that still on construction beside the resort. The workers can freely see you and whatever you doing in the villa, it's really discomforting for us. We asked them to change villa and they gave us villa that quite far from the construction site and near the lobby and all of our experience change immediately. They give free shuttle to nusa dua area so we go to bali collection in nusa dua by the shuttle. When we're taking breakfast one of their staff greet us and talk to us how they can make our stay more comfortable they're so friendly. They offered us to take the bicycle and ride it around the nusa dua area whiches quite lovely area. The GM also greet us personally when we're having a breakfast. I can't tell you enough about the staff perfomance in here. It's the best staff perfomance ever so far in our travelling experience. We are highly recommending this villa

Our stay was good but we had several problems with things not working in our rooms. We rented 2 rooms as we have 2 teenage daughters, there was problem with the phones, hot water, power points & DVD players not playing movies properly, the hotel is a 5 star hotel & is definitely equipped as such with quality equipment, we also had friends with us but they did not experience any such problems so i think we just ran into a bit of bad luck on our 5th trip to Bali. As a Designer of interiors myself & having stayed in hotels around the world I think some of the equipment & furniture around the hotel are needing a change but thats a personal view. we stayed a total of 6 days but after 3 days we gave up asking for services to be looked at due to the constant interruptions as they were desperately trying to fix things, by chance the hotel owner was in town, she was very apologetic & accepted that the conditions were unacceptable, she verbally offered us 2 rooms for 4 nights plus dinners for free which of cause was extremely generous but when we got the voucher is was only for 2 rooms for 1 night? we didn't bother questioning it in order not to spoil our holiday further, we may or may not use the voucher in the future. It is a great hotel in a great spot with great staff & facilities but without sounding superior, being regular travelers & having stayed in many 5 star hotels we believe this hotel needs a revamp when you consider the price you pay compared to other hotels in Bali. In conclusion we wouldn't not go there again but we will be spending our money elsewhere in Bali next time in order to share the love around. Happy Holidays

Our stay was excellent ! Quite expensive for Bali but room was 5 star, all needs met ! Breakfast was high standard , huge pool along with private beach area for the hotel guests . We love this hotel in Bali and dined a few times at Plantation Restaurant! For us it is rated higher than sarong , cocoon and potato head ! Very classy indeed with great entertainment Being in Bali previously over 30 times this is a favourite for sure !

I can’t fault this hotel, it had everything you needed for an awesome getaway. It’s right on the beach front which made it easy for morning runs along the coast. Morning Yoga was pretty special too and provided free at The Anvaya. Breakfasts were to die for, having everything you could need or want to start your day including a fresh juice station and great coffee! We had a premium lagoon access room, I would totally recommend as you could take a quick dip whenever you felt the need. The beds were extremely comfortable, the hotel was spotlessly cleaned and the staff were super friendly. I would definitely stay here again, I think I’ve found my go to hotel in Bali!

We've stayed at many hotels in Bali before and Ayoyda is one of the best we've seen to date. We were pleasantly surprised when our room was upgraded to the Grand superior which looked over the pool and had an amazing view. The rooms are spacious and I was particularly impressed that our helper who dropped our suit cases off gave us so many tips and even assisted us with finding a phone number for a local massage and spa place. We loved the outside area where it is so beautiful with lots of greenery and plants. On top of that the beach is only 5 minutes walk from our room and if we had more time we would have stayed longer and enjoyed the beach more. This is a highly recommended hotel and I will definitely be coming back to stay again for a few more nights when we stop by Bali next.

We have been coming to the Ramada for 12 years now, sometime we stay 2 or 3 times a year. We have stayed at a lot of 5 star hotels in Bali but nowhere we have stayed has had the same setting or relaxed atmosphere as the Ramada. The Ramada has the lot, great pool,magnificent gardens, friendly staff and great breakfast. The only thing is the staff no longer serve the coffee during breakfast any longer, you have to actually get your own. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel.

We spent 6 nights at KajaNe and absolutely loved every minute of it. We stayed in the Benji Nara villa. Beautifully quiet and so private. The pool is gorgeous and the villa is spacious and very well appointed. Loved the open air bathroom with a beautiful outlook. The staff were very polite and friendly and couldn't do enough to make us happy and comfortable. We enjoyed the afternoon teas when we were in our villa in the afternoon. You can order breakfast in your room if you want (we preferred to go to the restaurant). The coffee is excellent...I had a great cappuccino everyday and my husband had an espresso (I'm not a fan of Bali coffee) The breakfast was very generous, especially if you choose the American Breakfast option. The nightly turn-down service was great too. We loved sleeping in our mosquito net shrouded bed. The location is superb...just a short walk to all the attractions around Ubud (10 minutes to Monkey Forest or Ubud markets). The hotel car can drive you to places around Ubud town at no cost. You can also book a hotel driver for day trips that you can tailor make (US$10per hour...ask for Agung) Our driver was very safe and was really friendly and knowledgable with excellent English. He took us to some authentic places, rather than just tourist attractions. The staff were happy to book any activities for us and gave us recommendation when we asked for their opinions. We went to a Balinese cooking class (Paon) and also did a mountain bike trip (Bali Bike Baik) Both tours were excellent and we recommend them both. Next time we come to Bali, we will certainly stay here again. We are telling all our family and friends about it too for when they travel to Bali. Probably the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. A great place to stay and lose yourself in paradise.

My husband and I recently had a quick visit for a wedding over to Bali. Just so happens we were celebrating our Anniversary at the same time so... we managed to get over for 5 days without the kids. Peppers was recommended to us by our friends and we weren't disappointed. Its very centrally located in the heart of Seminyak close to Seminyak square, loads of lovely restaurants and plenty of shopping within the vicinity. Room service menu was substantial and very tasty as well. Can not fault the service of the staff, cleanliness of the rooms including the pool or the hotel amenities. We will definitely be going back to the One Bedroom villa, however I think it would have to be on another Kid free trip, not sure how the boys would go on the shiny slippery tiles around the pool when wet. Loved our stay, thanks Peppers Sentosa.

I would rate The Trans Resort Bali as 5 Stars. It is not cheap, but location, service of staff, & facilities are just so worth it. The staffs were so helpful & very hospitable. The manager was so great to upgrade our room to presidential villa. My family really enjoyed our stay, we will surely stay here again on our next Bali vacation Again, thank you very much THE TRANS RESORT BALI. best regards, emmeline go cebu, philippines

It was our first trip to Bali, so we didn’t know what to expect. First we did book the Deluxe suites for 4 nights, but after the second nights we book 4 more. The location is not so good but they offer free Bus shuttle to Kuta centre, which is very convenience if you want to eat or shop. The price and the taste of the food they sell at the restaurant are the only thing I can complaint about it. The first day I spend around at the Restaurant, just for 2 meals and some drinks. We went everyday with the free Bus to Kuta and there you can eat and drink on a reasonable price. The gardens are beautiful and the room quite spacious (with 2 balcony). The staffs are always friendly and the breakfast was the best. Would definitely stay at the Patra again, if I go back to Bali!

I seldom write reviews for hotels but felt compelled to after staying for two nights at Bisma Eight. Usually, I'd stay at simple guesthouses or villas while in Bali, but decided to give this hotel a shot after hearing good things from a couple of friends. The experience was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, Bisma Eight kept me surprised throughout. The room was splendid! Spacious while still feeling cosy, sockets right where you need them to be and the Japanese soaking tub just topped it off. Everything in the room feels like it was well thought of and designed, exactly where you need them to be. Normally I'd head out immediately after checking into a room but here, I spent the first few hours of my stay sitting in the wooden tub, not wanting to leave. As it was raining, I decided to stay in and visit the hotel's restaurant, something I don't usually do, but I'm glad I did. Hands down, one of the best meals I had in all of Bali. Every single dish that arrived was fantastic. From the starters to the desserts, all the plates were licked clean. The staff explained that some of their produce comes from the farm down the road, and they also had a little herb garden at the side of he restaurant. It's doesn't get any cleaner and fresher that that. After my meal, I popped by the little bar next to the restaurant for a drink and their cocktails exceeded all my expectations. In Bali, the cocktails served are usually a far cry of what they are supposed to taste like. Not the case here, everyone I had felt skillfully crafted. Easily one of my favorite bars right now. The drinks, ambience, music, spot on. Upon leaving Ubud to Seminyak after the two nights in Bisma Eight, everything felt pale in comparison to the bar it set. Raved to all my friends about it and I'm already planning my next stay there.

This hotel is nestled in one of the more popular areas of Canggu very near the beach. Decorated with museum quality artworks and artifacts of various origins and centuries, the Tugu Bali Hotel will amaze and inspire you during your stay. The staff are exceptionally helpful and are willing to meet all your needs. The rooms are impeccably clean and tended to several times a day. The restaurant provides a varied and delicious menu of local and foreign dishes. Travellers with allergies or limited diets can make requests for substitutions without hassle or fuss. This was my favourite hotel in Indonesia. Ask for a tour by the Assistant Manager, Ari, who had worked at the hotel for about 20 years. The stories and knowledge he shares about the privately collected items on the property will surprise you. Jenny, the Manager, is approachable and very friendly as well. Be sure to book one of the suites with your own private pool. This hotel is one of a kind and made me feel like a queen!!

We took an offer due to the volcano and I guess we received an bad room because of that. The room smelled musty and there was mold, so we called reception and requested another room... it didn't have the minimum hygienic conditions to sleep there. They gave us another room and that one was awesome, just in front of the sea and no mold issues at all (it was a second floor instead of a last floor). Since then, everything was absolutely perfect. The breakfast has been the best we ever had (not even other reputed 5* hotels had such an amazing, tasty and complete selection of food). The beach and swimming pools were clean and beautiful, the staff was attentive and friendly at all times... and the landscape... OMG!, it should be called a paradise. The only service we didn't like was the italian restaurant: we were just 2 tables and the waiter was taking too long to assist us and not in a nice way. Overall, in case we go back to Bali, we will book again at the Hilton Bali Resort for sure!!!

After having a less good experience in our previous hotel... we could compare what a 5 stars meant in Bali. We have been spoiled from the first minute we checked in and even before. Staff were really nice and smiling. Always wanted to help us. They made our stay a perfect moment... time flew so quickly we regret not having taken more days in this paradise on earth ! Clean, professional, discreet and gentle. Beautiful place to rest and enjoy the beauty of the premises !!! We loved it.
