Benguet Province hotels & places to stay

We experienced an issue between Agoda and The Manor where in we booked a particular type of room (based on the pictures here in Agoda) and even sent a message to particularly reserve the forest view room. Little did we know there are a lot of types of "One Bedroom Suite" and we were given the corner room with the Garden View. It was so dark in the living room and it was really far from what we have expected since I made the reservation 5 months early. I insisted we get the room we booked and showed the picture of the room I booked in Agoda. The receptionist said "it was just a picture" and it's not the actual room we'll have as there are no other rooms available. I was really disappointed because I booked it early, paid for it with a higher price and even had my guests hopes up that we reserved that room (which we reserved before) but we didn't get it. We ended up staying a day in the dark corner room with the garden view and moved to the forest view room on our 2nd and 3rd day.

Amidst the lovely setting of Camp John Hay, Le Monet is a sleek, fancy option. We were disappointed by the lackluster attitude of the frontdesk staff, but otherwise, the rest of the crew, especially those in the restaurant, were welcoming and friendly. Our room had 2 queen beds, which made things a little cramped, but it was a gorgeous space nonetheless. The rain shower was very much appreciated, and our favorite was the attached balcony, where one could enjoy the grove of tall Benguet pines. Awesome hotel. Very satisfied overall.

The good: smooth check in; very comfortable beds; great food at The Outlook Steak & Grill; very affordable mini-bar items; nice variety at the breakfast buffet with plenty of fruits and vegetables. The bad: the shower was barely warm; no bathrobes in our superior room; terrible room service menu; no "coffeemaker" in the room, just instant coffee; also, the coffee at the breakfast buffet was lackluster--quite disappointing in Benguet, home of such great coffee beans!

It was cheap and it is within walking distance of SM Baguio and Night Market. The Stuff was friendly. The hotel is made in the 70's and it shows. kinda old but still clean bed does not have that 5 star quality but it is comfortable enough. I stay 2 nights here on the way n out of Sagada province. The first room i was in the internet is fast since it is the closer to the counter the second one called honeymoon suite which is just a bigger version which is located downstairs, no elevator by the way, the internet is not really all that great.. but anyway it is cheap n centrally located i would stay again.

The staff are excellent, breakfast was superb (wasn't expecting too much for the price) the heated pool was a plus! Wide and comfortable bed. Best view and parking lot is not a problem. CONS: No bidet in the toilet (for 4k pesos a night I wasn't demanding for a five star service)but please a bidet should be a standard on all hotels with that rate. Cable signal is bad, no outdoor chairs and table in the veranda and room doesn't have proper ventilation. Wasn't expecting an airconditioner but the ceiling fan can't help in circulating the air inside. Napakainit sobra unless you open the door. Paano kaya kapag summer?

it was my first time to visit baguio, and i immediately fell in love with this city. it is very fortunate that i and my husband decided to stay in microtel because of its proximity near key locations and transportation. i would highly recommend this hotel, i am actually planning my next trip and i will sure to bring the whole family this time not only to experience the beauty of baguio and benguet, but to return to my home in baguio, the microtel hotel

I was travelling from Manila to attend an official function at Benguet at 9 am, hence, I requested for an early check-in as I started my travel from Manila at around 3 am. I requested for an early check-in considering that the travel will only be 3 1/2 hours and I indicated in my request a 7am expected time of arrival. I know it was impossible for the hotel to allow me a VERY early check-in but voila! I was able to check-in as soon as I get there as there was available room by that time and no additional charge was made. I had enough time for s short nap and to freshen up before finally heading over to Benguet. Thank you, The Forest Lodge.

We didn't know it will exceed our expectation with a 2-star hotel. It's hard to find a 2-bedroom hotel at that cheap price (discounted also by agoda), but when we reached our hotel room, my family was amazed by its cleanliness and coziness. But the twin bed-bedroom of our Superior Villa is beside the road kaya medyo noisy. The staff were accommodating and responds agad with our needs. But the food takes too long to prepare, and please change your longganisa. It tasted old. Overall, i recommend this hotel becuase it's budget-friendly and accessible to common tourist spots.

Breakfast buffet is good but can be better if they add fresh fruits / produce grown in benguet. Plus add some famous delicacy in Baguio to give a more Baguio breakfast feel. Staff are friendly. Room is clean and has good lighting. But it would be better if there are windows in the rooms so we can feel the Baguio breeze Also, please clean bathrooms regularly, walls are a bit sticky already. Toilet flush is a little broken. Price is good considering that breakfast buffet is included. Overall experience is good. Thumbs up to Eurotel Baguio! Wilk definitely go back! :)

I almost do not want to give this place a good review lest it becomes too popular and I'll have trouble booking a room for my next stay. :) Not cheap, not pricey either. Great value -- think flashpacker. Well-managed property. Properly constructed building. For the price, delivered the essentials and then some - toiletries, a flatscreen TV, wooden hangers, a bathmat, nightlight, and a great view of the City Hall grounds (trees, trees, trees). Basic beds (the portable/foldable kind) with a mattress topper (wish a mattress protector was added), flat sheets, a blanket, fluffy pillows. Our room was surprisingly cozy that we ended up sleeping in and watching TV over coffee (from the cafe downstairs) and cheap Korean eats (from the stall next door) on both mornings. Bathroom was a bit tight but I liked its clean and minimalist style. Check-in was a breeze. 500php refundable deposit required. Decent wifi. Complimentary hot and cold water out in the hall -- just bring your own tumbler/mug. I like that the window can be opened in 2 ways: awning style and pane. I thought that was a nice touch. The towels do need to be replaced, however, as they have turned a funny shade of light brown -- that was the one icky thing about our stay. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay! Combined with Baguio's crisp air and an errand-free weekend, I had one of my best sleeps in a long time. Til next time.

We've been to Baguio several times already but this time, we chose a hotel that has a quiet surrounding with spacious room and nice breakfast. Our stay was nice since the room is clean and very spacious with one queen size bed and two single beds to accommodate our group of four people. Our room has a glass window wall on one side and a balcony on the other side that opens to the scenic view of the city. The staffs are courteous and the owner, Sir Boying, is indeed a gracious and generous host. He made sure that our needs are met and problems are fixed immediately. He would even draw up an itinerary of the best places you may want to visit in Baguio. They served complimentary American, Oriental or Filipino breakfasts of your choice with Ifugao/Benguet brewed coffee or juice. I suggest that if you are new to this area, make sure you know how to navigate the location of the hotel. It might be difficult at first but once you know it's location, it's easy. I would definitely recommend this hotel. it's worth the price you're paying for.

Value for money, indeed. This hotel has exceeded our expectations and more. We were hesitant to book Chalet Baguio because of some of the reviews, primarily about the parking space. They do have limited parking, but we checked in on a Sunday and they were not fully booked. The location was quiet enough even though our room was fronting the main road. The location is also excellent, it's not smack in the middle of city traffic. Taxi ride to the city center only cost ~P50 one way. The room was clean, and their beddings were cozy (white sheets, for those who might be wondering). The 24/7 free-flowing coffee AND the dinner (included in the rates) is such a big plus (savings)! But the best part is, everyone in the staff was very accommodating to our requests. On our second day, they provided an extra towel, water, and slippers for our little girl even without us asking. We will definitely be staying here again.

We had a great stay!! :) We arrived at the hotel around 10am, the supposed check in was 1pm but they allowed us to check in early without extra charge. :) So we had the luxury to rest before going on an afternoon stroll at Session Road. We were given a twin sharing room (Room 210) though we're a couple, but that's fine with us. :) The overlooking view is great. We can see the Hotel's pool and the city from our window. I loved the city lights at night. Room does not have Aircon but there's no problem since it's always cold in Baguio. The heater in the bathroom is working well. And we were given freebies such as hotel Soaps, toothbrush, toothpastes, and shampoo. We were given free bottled mineral waters too.. Breakfast was OK, you have the choice on the meal you want. I got Longaniza, Garlic Rice, 2 Eggs, Orange juice, and a Coffee. Yep, it was a heavy meal! We had much energy before going to Bell Church (just a few meters WALK away from the Hotel) and Straberry farm (Just 15 minutes away ride thru Jeepney). :) BUT if you're a coffee person like me, I suggest you to just buy outside because I was charged 40 pesos for a small sachet of coffee! Again it's fine for me but I think they should invest with free coffees, it shouldn't be that expensive. :) Sadly, the room was quite pricey so we're not able to extend for another night. So we had transferred to a creepy transient home which made me MISS hotel supreme so much, but that's another Story.. OVERALL, I am recomending this hotel if you want first class service, comfortable rooms, cable Tv's, free wifi, great overlooking views. The Price is just Right with all the comfort you'll have here.. It's really worth it! NO REGRETS, you mYou'll appreciate Baguio more if you stay here! So If I'm going back to Baguio, I'll book with Hotel Supreme AGAIN. :)

Hotel Veniz is located at the heart of Baguio. Stone throw away to all the things you need while on vacation such as food establishments, souvenir shops, pharmacy, market, transportation, attractions, banks, ATMs and ukay. The reason why we keep on coming back on this hotel is its convenient location. At night, in time for Baguio's night market, all you have to do is go out of the hotel lobby's door and you'll find yourself in the ukay-ukay heaven! LOL! At the end of Baguio trip, drop by at the public market, tag along your bag and fill it up with fresh produce from the mountains of Benguet! Service is great. They attend to your needs in no time. Checking in and out is a breeze and will not take you too long. Receptionists and other staff are accomodating and hospitable. They provide parking slots for those who travel with cars. In the mornining you'll find newspaper at your door. You'll find the following in the room: cable tv with RC, phone, toiletries (soap, shampoo, dental kit), bath towels, bedroom slippers, mini ref, closet with hangers, laundry bag and ample space to move around. The only down side of this hotel is the breakfast. Ever since we stayed here, their breakfast buffet did not change nor improve. It mainly consist of Pinoy breakfast choices. It's not that bad but it could have been better. Overall, great hotel. I recommend it to those who are looking for a place in the heart of Baguio.

Got my booking for a Superior Room for 4 at a very cheap price thru Agoda's "Deal of the Day". Location is very convenient if you're planning to explore Benguet proper like Strawberry Farm, etc. But its a bit far to Baguio town proper, although its not difficult to find a taxi since its just along the highway. We had buffet breakfast for both mornings - selections were not so varied, just the typical breakfast food. But I find it really filling since I don't like too much choices for breakfast anyway. Their breakfast tocino is really delicious. The room is huge, they've provided basic toiletries for all 4 guests, they even have disposable room slippers! The room we booked is non-aircon, but I really don't mind due to Baguio's climate this time of the year. What I really didn't like is their wifi connection - it was very slow and if you're planning to bring work with you, I suggest to go downstairs to their coffee shop or just don't bring work at all.

One of the biggest thing to consider when you go for a break- be it short or longer is the place to stay, if it will suffice your needs as a tourist. It was the best decision made for our first family break- to stay at Citylights Hotel, Baguio. With the hassle-free booking made thru Agoda, added bonus was the 20% discount at that time. The staff are very friendly with your requests and will try their best to cater to them, very helpful in giving points of interest, for example, where's the best to dine, and voila!we ended with stomach full, satisfied, and very happy ( would no doubt go back next time). The breakfast included in your stay is worth considering as it removes the hassle of thinking where to have it and if it's substantial, all these are met The best highlight of our stay was, when we forgot items from the hotel, the staff did their best to send it to us- free of charge! where else can you have that? but I guess that depends on the situation. To be able to thank them, I recommended the hotel to our friends back home.

Pros: centrally located in the town proper - near the bus terminal, Burnham Park, night market, Watsons, Pure Gold. we only walked to some of the best restaurants (Good Taste & Canto to name some). We were surprised to see our spacious room with 2 double beds & a bathroom with a bathtub because the room rate was cheap at the time i booked so I wasn’t expecting much. But, wow! this hotel is amazing. The breakfast is also delicious, served in big portions, and affordable.

value for money... hotel is in best location, very accessible to tourist destinations. The hotel is quite old but the clean. The facilities are good, room is clean and the staffs are nice and very accommodating. They respond quickly whenever we need something. It is fine that the booking does not include breakfast, their restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices. Wifi is working good. We will definitely go back.

The apps for Agoda where I booked our stay in Hotel Veniz was superb, they even went the extra mile to take care of the bookings and error😁I made. Hotel Veniz Session is the best place to be if you want easy access to the busy life of Baguio city, its smack down to the center of all, this means that. Transportation to Mines view, Mansion, etc is just around the corner. Eats and deserts is just an elevator away. The Hotel staff were courteous and prompt on services needed by their guest. Size of the room is OK(for the price) I just hate the shower room, its too small. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will still recommend this hotel. Thanks

We used to book in more expensive hotels in baguio that are quite far from city proper. We had coffee at beanstalk and learned from people sitting at the lobby that it is a hotel and facilities are good. So i booked in this hotel for an overnight stay. Location is good, 5 minutes walk to the public market. The eateries are all over the place. Burnham is a block away and so is the night market. The hotel is clean, sheets are white and clean and it has an airconditioning unit, wow. Compared to the 5 star hotels in baguio. What more can you ask for, even the staff and front desk were very courteous and gracious. I highly recommend this place and will surely return to this place.

location is walking distance to a street where commuting is possible. we arrived past 2 and we were immediately informed that a guest has not checked out yet so we waited in the lobby. after a few minutes, we were then told that they would be extending til 4 pm when in fact they should not have allowed them to since we have already reserved that room weeks before. they could have suggested another room where the guest could stay in for a few more hours and it was not our fault that the guest arrived in late. after staying in the lobby for a few more minutes we were then transferred to a bigger room before finally being transferred again to our reserved room by 6pm. we hope this was just an isolated circumstance. had they met a guest who wont take their excuses for an answer, the hotel would be in slight trouble. also, may we suggest not to mention to guests that agoda bookers usually come in late, thus allowing a guest to extend even if a guest has already made a booking on the same day. all in all, the staff was excellent, even helping us out with the directions, assisted us in carrying our bags. they were very polite and kind. food was great as well and good for 2-3, wifi was ok but limited in the lobby which was stated anyway in the website,, there was a small store in case you need to buy a few essentials, and there are cabs passing along the street. room was clean, tv has cable, there was a hot shower, there was no water problem and hotel was well-decorated. we would still recommend this to friends who are on a budget.

I'm the type of person that meticulously looks at the bedding and bathroom of the hotel I'll be staying at. If it's not giving out the home-away-from-home vibe, then it's just not for me. I booked the hotel primarily because the bed looks so inviting. It's big, it's spacious and it looks so soft. Plus, the bathroom looks extremely nice and neat, even if it's just less than a quarter of the room. Looking at the photos gave me a sense of tranquility. I called the hotel prior to booking at Agoda to ensure that no problems would arise after booking it. To my surprise, the staff was also too nice accommodate my concerns and were very eager to answer all my inquiries. This made me more eager to book the hotel. Hence, after making this call, I clicked booked right away. Being a 3-star hotel, I wasn't really expecting a really, really good, top-of-the-line service. So, I was open to any kind of unpleasant behavior and unexpected problems that may arise when I come over. However, to my surprise, when I got there, I got more than what I paid for. If there ever was a downside, it would just be that the hotel's elevators are still under maintenance. You would have to use the stairs when going to the room. But this was established at the booking page, so it didn't matter much to me. Til the last day of my trip, I've nothing bad to say about the hotel. I had a good stay. Everywhere else was clean. Whenever I come across a staff, they greet us. Overall, it was such a pleasant weekend. I'll definitely be back for more weekend getaways!

When searching, i used the filter book now and pay later. Somehow i got this property and it was book now and PAY NOW. I was ok with it already cos of the location. I searched for a room that will accommodate 3 people during reservation. Again, system only showed 2 pax. We had to pay extra P500/ night for the extra person. Not sure what was happening with the booking system. Also check-in is STRICTLY 2pm onwards only. They don't care if you drove all night and would want an early check-in. Also, parking was a separate payment that is P300 per night. A lot of hidden cost. Other than that, on site staff Cody was great. Very accommodating and friendly. Property is located right behind Session Road and convenient to go around. Room was sufficient for short stat

Just a 5 to 10 minute walk from Victory Liner Terminal. But we took a taxi on arrival , was very impressed that the security guard assisted us with our small luggage. Checking in was a breeze. Room was better than expected. Staff were friendly, polite and attentive to our request. Breakfast was not a gigantic wasteful spread but sufficient for the not so fussy eaters. I actually enjoyed it. A special mention to our waiter Jeyson who was very helpful with info and directions. I suppose the negative comments from previous visitors would have been because they probably expected a 5 star hotel at 3 star rates. But I would rate this hotel as at least 31/2-4 star just for the service standard. And definitely much better than City Lights Hotel which I had the displeasure of staying at a few years back.

C Boutique is situation far from the noise of the city. It is location inside the residential area where its much less busy. Best place to stay if you're a type who likes to stroll and feel the morning breeze in Baguio. The room was big, more than what I expected. We booked Deluxe with Loft and they gave us room 303. For a group of 5 with 3 adults and 2 kids, all of us were able to rest soundly because we had comfortable bed to lie down to every night. The room has a single and a double bed at the 1st floor, and another double bed at the loft. It even had a small veranda! The only problem I noted was there were too many ants in the room! I informed one of the staff about it and she said those ants started showing up right after typhoon Glenda. Maybe a scheduled appointment with their pest control will help solve it. But despite of that, the room is OK for all of us. Super friendly and courteous staff helped made our stay even better. First Deyo, the front desk guy for the 3rd shift. We arrived 5AM and decided to have an early check-in. It didn't take long for us to be accommodated. Thanks to Deyo for making the transaction fast. Second, Jonald, the head waiter (I think) who never got tired of giving in to our requests. Thank you! Third, Jazz, the front desk guy for the 2nd shift. He approved our request to offset the complimentary breakfast that we missed and avail it instead on our remaining days of stay in the hotel. It has been a big savings for us :) Fourth, Swanee, the front desk lady for the 1st shift. She made it easy for me to extend another day in the hotel by promptly processing our extension. Her prompt action spared us from looking for another place to stay. Thanks! Lastly, kuya Jim, the guard who is our kababayan from Cavite. Thanks for always reserving a slot for us. Obviously, our stay from August 21-26, 2014 was enjoyable. Ask if I'm gonna choose C Boutique again? ... the answer is a definite YES!

Wasn't expecting anything grand. Usually when booking accomodation online they show the room that is the best then you get the worst one... but here it was great and my family and the 4 little big monsters I was with are welcomed warmly. Amazing... value for money ***** ... location ****** near all the destination tourist often visit.. and the view!!! Good God! It's amazing !

Booked this property via Agoda for a stay slated Sept 21 to 23. We were a family of six so we booked the two-bedroom apartment. Overall stay This property is one of the best properties I found for a domestic trip. You get the value of what you pay for because its location is convenient, you can maximize the amenities of the property, and the upkeep of the place is good. If you have a car, this is a good option. Moreover, the property manager is accommodating with questions, provides ample information, and is responsive. Accessibility We found Prestige Vacation Apartment's location convenient because we're almost always less than 20 mins away (without traffic) from the market, Mines View Park, Burnham Park, etc. And very close to Teacher's Camp. Wwe didn't do much touristy activities since we've been to Baguio couple of times so we just walked around the vicinity and inside Teacher's Camp. Do note that Leonard Wood can get congested at times but the traffic is manageable. There aren't any stores open during late nights so best to buy all the stuff you'll need when youre out or earlier. Amenities The 2BR apartment has a refrigerator, stove, plates, glasses and utensils, microwave oven, electric kettle, and rice cooker so one can stay in and cook. There's also a water dispenser and two gallons of water available. Renting Prestige Vacation Apartments gives you access to the in-house gym at the condo and this is one thing we took advantage of in the morning. I read that there's also a sauna but we didn't get to try it. The property provides towels and slippers but bring your own toiletries. The property It's worth noting that their apartments are highly secure. The doors have electronic lock systems (if you watch Kdramas, I believe it's pretty common?) with passcodes to unlock the door and where the door automatically locks upon closing it. This is convenient for us because we were group and there was no need to wait for each other or ask another person to o
