Bretagne Region hotels & accommodations

The young lady at the reception desk was attentive. Her English was very good and I just loved her French accent. We booked a bigger room with sea view, but the room they gave me was a smaller one with no view. I only found this out after I got to the room. So it took a while to go back down to the lobby to explain it, change the room, move the luggage to a different w...

I only stayed for one night but I had a nice & comfortable night. I was welcomed professionally. The room was nice, cleaned and quiet. The hotel is next to the train station with many restaurants around, the city center is only 15 minutes away on foot. Very nice back garden. I had a pleasant stay and I couldn’t find anything wrong with this hotel. I shall come back. T...

I was very surprised that the quality of the hotel was much better than I expected. I was traveling in France for 8days and this hotel is the best and the cheapest. The hotel is in front of Renne station, staff are friendly, comfortable and clean room, the bath room is big enough. I had to walk about 30 minutes to the big Marche but the town is beautiful to walk arou...

The place is nice and clean, the only 2 things we did not like was he noise which was coming through the room. When people were talking on the corridor we would hear everything. And the other 1 was the pillows. The pillows were so thin and flat, you cannot be giving that to customers to use. Those pillows are gone and need to be replaced.

You can tell the hotel is being renovated as there’s a smell of fresh paint in the corridor and some of the bedrooms have new doors with temporary room numbers. The room we had was on the 4th floor, and one that hasn’t been renovated. So, the carpet is a bit threadbare in places and the bath plug hole was full of hair which meant when you shower the bath gets filled wi...

This is a clean modern room, and the pictures match the room we got #008 on the ground floor. Also, very convenient that there was a restaurant onsite. The food was also good, I ordered the duo fish dish and my husband had the steak. Staff was friendly enough and place close to the highway.

Brand new. Edge of town in a office/commercial zone. Super clean. AirCon. Excellent multilingual staff. Secure parking behind a barrier, 3E per night. 15 parking bays undercover of the building itself. RFID door keys. Good WiFi, fibre backbone (38Mb/s down, 16Mb/s up speedtest). I don't know where the 'apartment' logic/tradition comes from in France. They equip a norm...

Hotel location just in front of train station ( gare de rennes ). There are plenty cafes and local restaurant around. About 10minutes by walk to centre commercial area. Justine was very helpful during my check in. Main bus station just 5 minutes by walk. Buses like flixbus, eurolines, etc. Even bus to Le Mont Saint Michel. Elevator is small, and only have 1. Noth...

We stayed for two nights in August. We had a triple room which was large, perfect for three adults and very comfortable. We were greeted by very friendly staff everytime we went near Reception. Parking is easy as it is just outside the hotel doors. Our room had a double and a single bed. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The room had a lockable safe big enough...

We got this room booked by accident, as it was a weekend, late afternoon and everything around were sold out except this hotel. Newly renovated specious room with separated toilet and bathroom, and small overlooking the street balcony, very nice for a morning coffee. AC working perfectly, so if you in town during summer time don’t hesitate to take this option. Very qui...

It was by far the best hotel we stayed at in Normandy/Brittany. Lovely modern rooms furnished with new and top-end designer appliances, warm and tasetful designs with attention to details. Wonderful owner who manned the reception and was extremely warm and friendly. Located within 10 mins walk of the Saint Malo city. 1 mins away from the beachfront and quai.

I have stayed in a Kyriad in Paris(Disneyland) which was very basic but did the job, however this time I was staying to visit a relative who lived locally in Lannion and this hotel was perfectly situated!Very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom,tea/coffee making facilities too. Ideally located within walking distance to various restaurants and supermarket. Will definitely s...

Very relaxing after a long journey..the bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby..I would recommend this hotel to any single female travelling alone..it has good parking and is conveniently located across the road from the train station..but the windows keep the noise levels down..oh..did I mention free wifi...perfect...

Very clean rooms, staff were great at English to help us around. Breakfast was very simple, no cooked breakfasts accepts boiled eggs. More continental based and a bit of a strange set up but it was sufficient. A heads up for Rennes is that there is little to non things open on Sunday's so I would not recommend being there that day if you can avoid, it was especially di...

We stayed for one night at Ibis Rennes Centre Gare Sud and the room was very comfortable for the 4 of us. The staff spoke English and were helpful. The best thing about the hotel was the location, right by the metro station. Parking is not included and is quite expensive. Other than that, a great place to stay.

We stopped here on our way through from Paris. Very happy with our stay, just over £65 for 6 of us to stay the night, decided not to book a breakfast as we were leaving early in the morning. Free tea and coffee and biscuits available in reception area. Requested interconnecting rooms on booking and they were provided. rooms quiet as away from main roads. Needed a car t...

The location is good in a peaceful area near the heart of saint malo (car is advised). Be careful, the breakfast is not included and you have to mention if you do not want it. The staff and owner are very insistant on the fact you have to take it so be clear if you do not want it. Not very good room for the price we paid. One small window only and very hot atmosphere...

Not the best hotel for the Solo Traveller, The double bed is a pull out sofa which wasn't very comfortable. I had to pay for towels (6Eu for one) and internet access and the walls are very thin. Had to listen to my neighbours talk late into the night. The Reception is only manned for a few hours a day and got charged a "tourist tax" when I checked in.
Cheap places to stay in Bretagne Region

I arrived at night but there was just a check in machine available that the reception was already closed. But there was something wrong with the machine that I could not check in with it. Luckily I got my phone topped up with international calls, so that I could call the hotel centre to help me out. I could not imagine if I couldn't call them at the time, I would've st...

The only negative was the main course in the restaurant, it was very poor. My husband had steak which was served with no sauce, just a lump of meat and the fries. I had fish which had a smidgeon of a poor quality sauce and no taste. The French fries were good. The Desserts were exceptionally good. We didn't have a second evening meal. The breakfasts were good.

The hotel name was changed 3 mths ago to Hotel Inn. Consequently it was difficult to find. The location was in an industrial area on the outskirts of town, & there were limited eating choices, although there are a few chain restaurants nearby, otherwise you need to drive back into the town The rooms are very small but so is the price.

If you are ever in the very, very smal town of Dol, this place is ideal for a one night stay, or just to rest before catching the train early next morning, because it is right beside the train station. The staff was very friendly, although they only spoke french.

As i recall, i remember the name on the building is not Citotel Le Bretagne Hotel, so we can't fine the hotel in the first place, but I don't really remember the name displayed there. But as a french hotel, they don't speak good English, but their service are good and very willing to help.

bathroom minute if you are over 1.8m as the toilet is less than 300mm from the shower base and door and the pillows are not very comfortable.the hotel is attached to a best western hotel next to it and that is where breakfast is served on a self service basis

Hotel is clear and modern, situated at 10 mins by walk to the city center. Breakfasts are with fresh croissants. Note that the reception is not open during the mid-day time at weekends, it's better to find the own hotel website to have the reception timetable.

We check in hotel out of their reception time so we need to call them to get a safe password to get our room key. But the girl give us the wrong password and insist that the password is correct and ask us to keep trying. After tried so many times we have to call back again and another guy give us another password, and also the correct password. The phone call cost us a...

We chose this hotel for its convenient location to the port of St Malo and its price. It was good value and we were generally satisfied with everything. The restaurant, which stayed open late, was a welcome bonus after a long slog driving up from Les Landes on the same day in awful driving conditions (heavy rain). It is near the busy motorway which means background t...

The hôtel is nicely furnished. The staff is helpful and polite. The room is okay. Not big but okay for a single persona, maybe a bit small for a couple. The fitness room is very nice. The hotel is at a five-minute walk from the train and bus stations, and from the Cathédrale.

Immaculate hotel on outskirts of Vannes. Very quiet despite the road in front and railway line behind. We were not disturbed by noise at any time. Good quality breakfast, just a shame it is only served until 9.00am in the week, meaning we missed a few days!! Twenty minute walk right to the centre of town, 25 minutes to the port and ideally situated for exploring the...

As a French hotel it was really good. It's a shame that pet bottle of water is not available in the room freely. The breakfast lacks vegetables and different kind of fruits. :/ Rooms are clean and staff is professional. any issue? contact the staff and you'll have the solution. :)

from the moment you enter this hotel you are greeted by very friendly staff.service and cleanliness faultless. the food is very good and reasonably priced the restaurant service is excellent, especially by a young man who is on 6 months deployment, hope he is retained as he is knowledgeable, exceptionally polite and professional. we are regulars at this hotel, thus mus...

The hotel elevator was out of service on the morning of our departure, when I asked for assistence to get a heavy suitcase from the second floor, they bluntly told me that I had to sort that out myself. The room was very small and basic. Breakfast was way overpriced for what we got. Instant coffee and non-fresh bread. The receptioniste had no PR skills at all.

If you are a golfer then this is the obvious choice for your stop near St. Malo. If however you aren’t (like me) then this rather difficult place to find is well worth the effort for the absolute peace and quiet and really good quality, value for money restaurant. Laid out like a motel my room had its own terrace with a view straight to the lake. The only noise was ...

The Chateau Le Colombier is a pleasure to visit to visit and even more a pleasure to stay in. Though the chateau initially is somewhat difficult to find, the hospitality is instantaneous upon a guest's arrival. It was short night stay with late arrival and early leaving. We have got all we need, and location was very center. I think if you have longer time in the time you should enjoy the city around this historical located place. Building itself was very interesting.
